Spin continues to prove to be a leader in the music magazine industry. It far surpasses its main competitor, ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE by far ! There was a time when Spin was no where near as good as RS, but if you compare the two now, it is like night and day. Very scary indeed. I remember when SPIN almost went under, someone believed in it, and brought it back to life with a vengeance, and it is showing. Keep up the good work SPIN ! Keep spinning those great issues :)

They write about unpopular bands. There articles have no content.

It's a cutting edge magazine with your not-so-conventional approach to story writing which is cool, change is always good.

I don't really like this magazine. The only things that ever interest me are their movie reviews. Beyond that I find the magazine very drull and kind of huffy. Sometimes they might cover a great band, but their reviews for albums suck. I seem to see them complement certain bands when they are "In Style" and then turn on them the second they are not concidered in anymore. Once they are concidered Spun they will no longer recieve any support or equal and honest criticism from Spin.

This magazine is especially good for music lovers. The interviews are very insightful and the articles offer a unique view of music and the industry. I try to read the article whenever I can. I really enjoy the pictures also. They routinely grace my walls.

Pretty consistently interesting, even for a mainstream magazine. Sometimes their reviewers are too full of hyperbole, but at least they make an effort to be somewhat inclusive of new and interesting things.

the Spin magazine with Axl Rose special was very good.

Spin had an awesome, comprehensive article on Woodstock! I was at Woodstock '99, and I could clearly tell the author of this article was truly there too. I can't say as much for other publications' articles on the subject.

I have subscribed to SPIN for the past few years. It's opinions are very close to my own.
