It's definetly a true cult B-movie classic. The beginning scared the hell out of me and Drew Barrymore was so convincing in her role. And then of course, We see her getting gutted to death. You feel so bad, You forget it's just a movie. It really makes you connect with the charatcers, You know.

I was very Scared when I first saw it but then again I was only in the 4th grade then!!

This was the worst movie series ever. It wasn't scarry in the least. It was just plain stupid.

It was great the first time you watched it, but after you know how it ends, watching it again makes it less special. I still hate callmetootie.

One of the better scary movies in that you really don't know who the killers is until the end. It could be anyone. Well acted, thoughtful, witty, a rebirth for the horror genre. Neither sequel comes even close to it. Reminds you of Halloween in that respect, a psychological thrill ride that denegrates into simple blood, guts and gore in it's sequels. Highly recommended!

I was into it until Drew Barrymore's character died, and that was at the very beginning.

Its alright but its not scary its more just a movie to watch with your friends but far as being with your boyfriend/girlfriend and trying to watch something scary so yall can get a little closer this movie won't do it!

I have had more fun FLY FISHING! the only good part of this movie was Randy but of course as in all crappy movies the best guy dies in the sequel (Which was a great thing for Randy). I may have liked it back in the day but that was before I started to understand what made a great movie. If you find this movie good try shakeing a pen in front of the computer screen you might have more fun. "I think you stabbed to deep man.."

The first fifteen minutes were a helluva alotta fun. But it contains one of the most obvious redherrings I've ever seen. Neve can't carry a movie even when all she has to do is act frightened.

I'm not a big fan of this sub-genre created by Hitchcock (This is, in no way an attack on Hitchcock, mind you) but along with it's sequel & Halloween, I can make a exception. Wes Craven has definately created something entertaining and, at the same time, very good. And yet, he wasn't done. He came out with a sequel that was alot better!

The Shape just absolutely cannot stand this flick, and he really doesn't have a nice long explanation as to why either. He just thinks it's the suckiest sucky movie that ever sucked.

Scream is the first really annoying horror film. The screaming in this film gets just so old, and you can't take it anymore. The costumes are extremly goofy and the actors overreact to everything on the set.

The movie wsa really cool. There was a lot of blood shed.

Come on, this is one of the most clever horror movies ever made. You really don't know how it's going to end. And it's entertaining, one the best yet cheesy scary movies.

Scream...what can I say. I loved it in 8th grade. I am a senior know and my likes have changed. It was an original concept and I liked it for that. It did have one good character that I could relate to. Randy. The horror movie geek. Yea I can relate to him but he is such a tiny sub character only a few movie patrons even cared about him. I cried my eyes out when I watched Scream 2. I watched Scream a couple times just for Randy. Scream is sleak and well shot. Fairly o.k. acted but not a horror movie. This is more of an action movie than anything else.If you want to be scared DON"T COME ANY CLOSER. If you wish to put your brain into cruise control and watch a tediouse time filler with a few whippdey doos in it COME RIGHT IN! OH YEAH!! I almost forgot this film is what brought about teeny bopper horror! Scream loses major points for that. Horror by Hilfiger...where is my gun?

This movie was awesome. An excellent line up after Nightmare on Elm Street. A great mystery for the young generation.

Scream is a good movire because it's a parody of horror movies. The movie is able to laugh at itself. It's cool how the audience does not know who the killer is until the very end. It was also the first teen horror flick in the 90's, so the plot is original. The only thing that is never explained is why the killer killed about six people when he only wanted to kill Sydney.

This movie sucked. It wasn't scary at all. They should've kept it to one movie to save tape. Once again this movie sucked. The plot was so boring. I actually fell asleep during it.

I will someday be known as the 1st film with that actor who played Stu (the bland guy who is one of the killers). Great action- he's in a Branagh film now.
