Empire is the best of the Star Wars Trilogy

Arguably the best of the Star Wars movies. It's alot darker and foreboding than the first one and it's alot tighter than it's predecessor too. It also has a very good shot at being the best science fiction movie of all time, if you ask me! Excellent movie!

The Empire Strikes Back is by far the best of the famous George Lucas Star Wars trilogy. It just really entertained me with the snow-shots and the great special effects that surrounded it.

Easily the best of the Star Wars trilogy. The beginning battle was awesome, Yoda, Darth Vadar. The battles were all perfect. It had an open ending and a poweful battle which kicked ass. The dialogue was much improved from the first too.

America's mythology embodied in the richest, most intricate film of the Star Wars saga. Character development and plot twists make this the best film of the bunch. Harrison Ford will never be matched in terms of intensity and embodiment of a space buccaneer.

This is one of the best sci-fi sequels in history. It created a darker mood than Star Wars: A New Hope, and really created depth to the characters in the film. Luke becomes stronger and learns his ties to Darth Vader, and as a filler movie in a trilogy it still holds its own. For a spaghetti space western it remains as one of the most fun and action packed stories in American pop culture.

The Empire Strikes Back is arguably the best move that George Lucas made. The reasons are that Luke becomes General of the Rebellion, Luke finds out Darth Vader is his father, the Empire wins a decisive battle on Hoth, it is a cliffhanger ending, people want to come back and see what will happen next and many more. That is what makes this movie so great. The actors can really act also, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Billy Dee Williams always act in great movies this one was no exception. I went out to see the Digitally Remastered Version and loved it even more.

This is by far the best Star Wars movie. It reveals to Luke who his father is. It also introduces the bad ass character Boba Fett. It's a must see movie.

Empire was the perfect second act. Star Wars introduced the characters, created the rules. Empire brings up the conflict and Jedi resolves it. From a directorial standpoint, Empire has the least lagtime. It's tight, compact with no excess wonderful stuff.

Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars movie. It was different from all the other ones because it didn't have a space battle and the bad guys won. All the best characters were in it (like the bounty hunters), and there weren't as many corny looking aliens.

Darker than the others, of course, but that only serves to make it worthy of its twin brethren. Absolutely amazing.
