I Love this chic! Watching her, gives me so much confidence in cooking. Iam a person who burns everything and hated to cook. Now I love it and everyone in my family is lovin me. Rach is such a fun personality!! Hey love life, family and food!!!!!! I love how she admits her mistakes, she is real just life the rest of us. I also love her laugh, she makes my day!!!

The show is ok. I just cant get used to that annoying laugh.
jayp400 02/20/2004
There are a lot of cooking shows I like to watch but the recipes are really too advanced. I like the fact that Rachael's recipes are doable. Plus she is a major Babe!!!

I like Rachael Raye, some of her meals i dont know if i would personally make. I like her personality and how she carries everything from her pantry to the cooking area and never drops a thing. Way to go Girl!

While the idea of 30 Minute Meals is a good one, the host Rachel Ray though she knows what she is doing does get a bit annoying.
Melbear10 10/30/2003
SHe never cooks anything that looks tasty.... her meals are so quick because she ususally uses store-bought and pre prepared items.. and she just GETS ON MY NERVES! I've never heard the word YUMMY so many times than I do when I watch her show "Fabby", "Delic", "Yum" SHUT UP!

I love Rachel Raye in 30 minute meals and $40 a day. It is great to watch someone with a kind of enthusiam that will get me motivated to do recipes quicker and with a different slant to them. I also love that she gives that little extra hint at the bottom of the screen. Even though I know some of them, it is a nice reminder. I am a chef who can appreciate new and fun ways to fix a meal. I also love that she let's us into her life, and how the food fits into it. I am open to many different cooking ideas, and she has fulfilled this need. So thank you Rachel Raye, I think you are great!
dovekiller 09/15/2003
Certainly the concept is great. Who would not be interested in learning how to do a really nice meal in just 30 minutes? Unfortunately, every website is cluttered with people talking about HER! She is cute, some people can't stand that. She is bubbly and enthusiastic, lots of people hate that. Some people are determined to suffer their whole lives away. Just drive on.
chapi 08/25/2003
Racheal Raye is awsome. I love her show! Very upbeat, adorable women!! She has excellent tips and is fun to watch, and shes absolutly GEORGUS!! Racheal are you single!! LOL
C. M. Beggs 07/28/2003
Likeable hostess. Knowledgeable. Easy recipes anyone can make. Recipes do not require specialty tools.
Schiffy30 07/25/2003
I absoloutly love Rachael Ray! i cant wait to come home after a long day andwatch her shows and i love both of her cookbooks..her recipies are quick and easy and my dream is to be on the show and cook with her...the theme nights are really cool and good ideas...She is the best whoever says she has a bad personality needs their head checked! she trully loves what she does and worked hard to get where she is...we can all learn something from her!!!!!
Wemprimo 06/28/2003
I love Rachel Ray!! She really takes the stress out of making good, healthy, and complete dinners for my family. I have gained a lot of knowledge and, more importantly, self-confidence by watching her show. I have tried many of her recipes and love them all. Thank you, Rachel, for showing us that REAL people can cook well and that we don't have to be perfect.
DKat89 06/26/2003
I make mine in HALF the time... I use a microwave!!!

Finally a place to vent my frustration! I tried to contact her or the network via e-mail, but to no avail. What is the purpose of using abbreviations if you always follow up with the long version (EVOO - Extra Virgin Olive Oil)? I cring every time I know she is about to say it. Plus, she is extremely repetitive and ultra flaky. The only reason why I tolerate the show is for a new take on quick preparation of meals, but I don't think she has the kind of personality that should be on TV, hence the reason why I cannot watch $40-a-day. And her standard rolling of her eyes as her indication that she is enjoying what she eats is infuriating.
MJ5150 06/04/2003
I started to watch the show because I think Rachael is a babe. She still is a babe, and now I have many cool recipes to make. I hope she comes to do a $40 a day thing in my town, I want to meet her. She is gorgeous.
MeatLamp 05/29/2003
This woman is a methamphetamine addict. If you look at her eyes, you'll notice they twitch. And, I want to slap her when she says "Flaffle". Anything else I haven't mentioned?

A few months ago we were finally able to receive the Food Network on our cable and one of the first shows I because thrilled with is 30 minute meals. Ms. Ray is charming! I am an avid cook but have become bored with cooking the same recipes over and over. Ms. Ray gives quick, simple, tasty recipes that anyone can make. She appears to be genuinely friendly and really enjoys what she does. Her "giggle" as my son and I call it always makes us smile. I feel like I have spent a valuable 30 minutes with Ms. Ray as several of the recipes that I have tried are delicious and they do not require me to bankrupt my checking account when I go shopping for the ingredients. I will continue to be a fan.

love her and the show ,and what about those meals
Gloria yasros 05/02/2003

hatefallon 04/21/2003
This chick is a major twit! I want to pick up her ever present garbage bowl and dump it over her head.
pigwiggle 04/21/2003
Rachael Raye is a little bit ANNOYING but she does come up with some good recipes and shes semi-entertaining.
warmTape 04/20/2003
She says "mmm" before the fork has barely gotten past her lips; not near enough time for the flavor to hit her tastebuds and making her reaction genuine. Her voice defeats the purpose of a cooking show; it destroys my appetite. Two stars it deserves because: A) Could be used as a great appetite suppressant (for all you plump ones out there) and B: There is such thing as too much enthusiasm. Then again, she doesn't scare me as bad as the Forever Rigid Martha Stewart.
CastleBee 04/17/2003
This show is fun to watch because it's obvious that the Rachel Ray (who comes off very down to earth compared with several of her cooking show collegues) is not only good at but also enjoys her work. Her dishes are easy to do with clear directions. What's more, they don't call for some odd, overpriced ingredient that can only be found in a specialty shop in another solar system. All her recipes are downloadable on FoodTV.com also. One of the most practical, useful shows on TV.
jimboy 04/14/2003
Good recipes, really annoying host.
mochi22 04/09/2003
I just love her too. She's got the background and yet isn't a snob about her skills a la Martha. I've tried many of her dishes and more often than not they come out really well. She's a lot of fun too.
swanoak 04/09/2003
It's nice to see a happy smiling face. My wife is the cook, I only watch if I happen to be in the room.
bosguy 04/08/2003
Her voice is like nails on a chalk board. I could just slap her every time she shortens EVERY word; cookin', eatin' boilin'. You get the picture. Listen next time. She'll make you crazy. And don't get me started on EVOO. Thank goodness for the remote control, zap that freak right off my tv.
chickenpie 04/08/2003
I just have to turn the channel when she comes on. So annoying and so overly "down home" cheerful. Her meals are actually very good, but I just can't stand HER!! But nothing is as annoying as her $40 a day show. That makes me want to break the tv. YIKES!!!
Bryan Ulrich 04/07/2003
This is Bryan, and I think that Rachel puts alot of time and work into the show. She is just like the people who view the show, and that makes the show more interesting. To conclude the meals are easy to prepare and good to eat. enjoy your show Rachel.
Bdiddy 03/04/2003
The information and format are good, but the host has got to go. Rachel Ray is just too annoying. Though not as bad as her 40 dollar a day program.
TripleH595 02/28/2003
She knows her stuff!
freddie 02/12/2003
They'll give a cooking show to anyone.
EricTKO 01/25/2003
Ok so i'm in love with Rachael Ray. This show is great and fun to watch. She is easy to watch. I do most of the cooking as my wife works longer hours than I do as I am a producer. I have found many great recipes and ideas from her show. Her other show.....$40 a Day is also worth watching. Check them out I think you will enjoy.
redred 01/25/2003
I love the show. She is not too classy but not too plain, and she makes the recipes easy enough for anyone to make without costing a fortune.
callmetootie 01/23/2003
Interesting little cooking show doesn't have the most exciting recipes, but it's a fun little show that never has a boring moment.
Cosmo Renfro 11/18/2002
I like this show because she shows you how to be more lazy.
gg knox 11/08/2002
Many handy tips, the show is great fun to watch!
consumergal 11/04/2002
I like this show because she cooks like most of the real world - simple and not too gourmet.
