Don't believe the suicide comments. It's an attractive place for people from elsewhere to committ suicide, for whatever reason besides Cornell, because of the high gorges, not because it's too demanding academically. Oh and by the way...Cornell is better than Harvard anyway!

Cornell consistently has one of the highest suicide rates in the country. Either the students came to Cornell unhappy, or they became unhappy once they arrived on campus. Either way, the consistently high suicide rate is cause for alarm.

Cornell has a great campus and facilities, but the professors and advisors(college of engineering) care more about their research than the students.
