i used Hotmail for a while and I didn't care for it at all. I got so much junk mail in my box. It was always down on me half the time. It was just one annoyance after another. I've switched over to Yahoo! and I like that so much better.

At least I can get 90% of my attachments that are sent to me. I've used it for years, I am satisfied.

I just got a laptop the other day, and the people working at my school have hotmail, so I always have to e-mail to them. I'm telling you it is such a hassel using hotmail. The spell check system barely wokrs, it comes up with stupid names, and if I accidently accept it you cant change it???

Maybe this would be more convenient if I had a better Internet connection, but I find this email system cumbersome at my not-quite-cutting-edge speed...

Hotmail has changed the web with offering free email. I randomly check my hotmail account. It is a good thing to have. It has remained pretty much the same for the past two years. It is defintely a pain to open attachments but I use it more to subscribe to receive information, not for recreation. People who I don't keep in close contact with can still have my hotmail address if they want to get a hold of me.

An online pioneer as the first major service to offer free e-mail. While it doesn't seem like much now, Hotmail's introduction of free e-mail which is accessible from anywhere really changed the complexion of the Internet. That being said, I haven't used my Hotmail account for a couple of years because it is slow, and a pain to download attachments.

It's free and that's obviously it's big attraction as well as the fact that you can check it from any pc but what E-mail can't you check from anywhere these days? Security I would think is their biggest issue at the moment, all you hear about is all the break ins on Hotmail and Yahoo mail accounts.
