Good notebook. Quick startup and convienient. Small and compact even with a CD-Rom and disk drive. The only problem is the CD drive causes a slight shaking of the entire notebook and generates some heat. Decent, simple design.

Coming highly recommended, Toshiba's notebooks are both affordable and reliable. My laptop, from the Toshiba Satellite budget line, continues that tradition. Clear documentation, a comfortable keyboard, good power management, a fast processor, and ample battery make my 2545CDS a buying choice I don't regret. I have yet to become comfortable with the pointer sticks.

This computer is relatively reliable, very user friendly, saves space, and is light. I have had it for almost two years now, and I had relatively few problems. The only thing is that it sometimes freezes, but worth one re-boot and then it is fine. Overall it's a good computer.

Reliable, small, long-lasting battery, and an easily visible LCD screen, however, not enough standard memory, too slow, too heavy, and not good speakers.

The Toshiba Satellite series is for the value minded. And you got what you pay for. Although the machine is quick, the screen quality is below average. IT is very difficult to use in high light or in low light. You must be at the perfect angle to view it, or else you can't see anything. Good for the cost concious shopper who wants a laptop.

Basically, it is a good one, having everything in one body, but the point stick is really bad. Even worse then the touch pad. I would not buy a notebook with a point stick.

Wow, I love this notebooks model for the following reasons: the design is very nice and attractive as well as the quality of the components. It has everything internalsuch as DVD drive and Modem. One thing I hype and wait from this model is to lower the price a little bit or occassionally on sale so offer customer can afford it.

I wouldn't buy anything that isn't Toshiba. Sleek design and great keyboard. A little nosier than the Compaqs, et al but other than that, a wonderful machine (satellite 2615)

I got a new Toshiba satellite and had a complete nightmare with customer service / tech support. The computer ended up having three major problems. Eventually, because I am a journalist and talked about them on my radio show, they agreed to replace it.... I fear for those without such power to wield over their heads.

The Toshiba Satellite is a laptop to buy for a first timer.

A good value for the features available.

I like Toshiba's music design-it's very easy to use and quick.
