One of the best ISP's, I ever used. Then it all changed when SBCYahoo took over, the quality went right down the toilet and forced me to cancel service. Proof that mergers can ruin anything.

I had prodigy from the time I dropped AOL in 1999 until I got comcast high speed in 2003. Hands down the best dial up I ever used, better than MSN, AOL, Earthlink, and a couple of local ISP's.

Prodigy was actually my very first ISP, but that was back in 1992! That was back when there weren't really any .coms and .nets. It's really a sentimental favorite.

It used to be a good and reliable provider, until it did all that upgrading. Problems with connecting, slow browsing, and being cut off for no apparent reason made me bite the bullet to sign up with Comcast's cable modem. I'm always on and the speed is lightning fast for web browsing and downloads. All for $39.95 per month. I'll never go back to dial-up modem.

It's the same cost for unlimited internet access as AOL & they mean it....how much more could anyone ask for. I've used it for about a year now & have had no problems with it. I'm able to connect 99.9 % of the time & the connections aren't as slow as other providers.

Microsoft recommends 4 internet services to you. One is Aol, one is Compuserve, one is MSN, and one is Prodigy. Prodigy is a pretty good internet provider, but they are kind of pricy and it is one of the lesser of the 4.

I tried to use Prodigy, but nothing worked, from the software to the actual connection. By the way, hello Jeff at Prodigy- I know customer service pretty well.

Great service. Gives a good rebate just for signing up. The speed is great. No busy signals. The main program is very easy to use.

I think they're slow and I usually get disconnected. But their rate is much cheaper than others.

This service was bogged down with constant advertisements on every page. Users with a modem will end up waiting 5-7 minutes for each page to load up. The layout and accessability to the service is not as good as some other providers. Spamming is a major problem also. I wouldn't bother with Prodigy.

My brother uses Prodigy and he hates it. I have tried to use it as well and I have trouble connecting with it. I can only use it at a time late at night when not many people are using it.

Cannot be considered as National, when they do not offer toll free acccess to those of us in N E Montana.

A great vision, but they just haven't kept up with the times.
