A great workhorse for creating basic databases. I have created 3 access databases with an average of 20 users accessing it at the same time with no crashes. The trick is to split the database between the front end and the tables across a network share, then there is less concurrent network traffic. Migrating up to SQL Server is relatively painless as well.

Great so long as you don't need interoperability with other systems. Same old Office security holes, too.

An excellent multi-user database, as long as you write software for one client and don't need any automated server utilities.

A great product but I have some reservations about it. It really takes some advanced VB knowledge to get the most out of Access and someone who knows that much probably will be dissapointed with the programs limitations. It's relational databases for dummies, but you've got to be a pretty smart dummy.
