Currently (10-25-05)they can't keep their site running. It won't load at all right now, and when it does, navigating to some pages give you weird errors. Site is no good if you can't use it!

why is it that i seem to have a lot of problems connecting to pogo. i have no issues connecting to any other site, but not pogo. it's been happening all day today. it's hit or miss and sinse i'm a club pogo member, i should get reembursed for the time that they are offline and we can't connect to play.

I have found that the major problem in loading the pogo games is the newest java, not pogo. Try to download java vm, b/c i had nothing but problems out of java sun. pogo is a really great site and i enjoy playing the games.

well if you pay for club pogo it is fun but without the technical issues. I pay for club pogo and am a sucker to keep paying I get errors when playing under my paid name but if I go under my AOL name same server browser etc I can play what the hell is up with that. if anyone knows I would be glad to hear from you!

It gets really bad when I can try to access Collapse 3 days in a row and get nothing but black screen. You would think that Pogo would keep up their software better than that.

Please please please help me! I cannot get any of my Pogo Games to come up. I get as far as it says Loading and that is the end unless I wait some times 30 min for it to come up,I am 75 years old and can,t afford to waite that long. i feel like that other players that can not pay should be able to play in club pogo and also have a chance to keep there badges as well even after if they can not pay and i feel that other players should be able to win badges even if you made them different from other players.

you should give new players a guest pass for the club pogo. If you want people to join.its crap that we have to pay in order to try it out.

I love the pogo club and love my badge's but have only one issue about pogo, some games need help, and the mini's are hurting some of the play's, although have lots of stuff myself and like them,its something you need to get right. My main thing is the help your tech's give, they tell you only half of what you need to know. I asked if could change my name and the answer was yes, but they did not tell me would lose all had on the name, this isn't fair and you keep telling me can't fix, this not true as you can replace those badges but won't. I played word whomp last night and found that you don't get all the tokens you earn since you changed the game. I like pogo.com. I was playing on the site for a long time, before I decided to join their Club Pogo program. The yearly fee is very reasonable. I feel that the site is secure and I never have to worry about spam or spy ware or any of those nasty viral infections. It is a great place to meet people and play a few games after a hard day's work. I have never had a problem staying connected to the site since switching to cable internet service. Dial up just can't compete and is a totally worthless service in my estimation. Yes, I do realize that some people do not have access to faster services, but for those who do and can afford it cough up the extra money per month. You will be very happy with both Pogo.com and your internet experience.

I've tried to contact customer service at Club Pogo only to get the runaround with their standard questions and answers game. They don't have the answer to my question but there is no way to contact them. I'm leaving Club Pogo.

For over a week I have been kicked off the internet by pogo games and club pogo each time I try to enter a room. I have found the system they use to identify the problem to create high blood pressure. I wish to email and explain the problem so that they can suggest a remedy, but that seems to be not allowed. I paid for a years subscription. How do I get that back?

I have been a club pogo member for over a year and a half, and never have I had any major problems. Sure they have technical difficulties once in awhile, but what site doesn't? I play a large percentage of their games and rarely have problems. I have also never had problems with my membership. In addition, I do know two people who have won actual money and they did receive it, so contrary to popular belief, that is not a scam. At least in the experience on my two friends. Pogo has a large variety of games, and I love working towards the weekly badges and game reward badges. I have checked out other gaming sites (such as slingo, which was full of popups even with my popup blocker) and I prefer pogo.

At one time you were the best but for us people who don't want to belong to club pogo, your site leaves a lot to be desired, in fact it is boring since nothing new ever gets added. Slingo site leaves you behind in the dust.

everytime you try to play pogo, It always freezes..in High Stakes Pool, sometimes the stick won't move at all and cause you to lose the game. I still like pogo.com but pogo.com is messed up! Everytime I play rated, it always freezes, and when I play unrated, it doesn't. Pogo.com screws you!

I have been a member for many years. I went to club pogo as soon as it opened. Occasionally I have had a problem trying to get into some of the games. When I send them an email to find out what is going on, they ALWAYS respond very quickly to let me know what is going on and that they are doing their very best to resolve the problem. I do know people that have won the jackpots and have received their money very promptly. Usually within 10 days. I understand that everyone has their own opinions. My opinion is that pogo is a very reliable and trusting gamesite.

I found out that they cheated using programs like chessbase fritz games etc). To the person who uses that language it doesnt surprise me about what the service is like on pogo. they allow people like you as a member i would never pay a penny for their worthless service and i guess its a lot of people's computers which i seriously doubt. i think people who state its only 20 bucks should give 20 bucks to a lot of services since they obviously dont care or do not have any money sense. Why would anyone pay for a service that never returns emails, does nothing about their problem players because when they are reported they are still on!!! When you take up for yourself they ban you what's wrong with this picture? They never answer emails and their games are totally unreliable. Every week there are some sort of problems ranging from inaccurate calulations to parts of the game disappearing in the middle of the game. I got a membership with a 30 day free trial and during that free Trial it was so unsatifactory that i cancelled it. They had the nerve to charge my credit card anyway. Get in touch with them??? doubt it!!!! The excuse is what do you want for 4.99. Not to be ripped off so if you are thinking of joining!! The best gaming site of all weather or not you are a Club Pogo member. If you are an AOL member, despite intermissions, you get to play the club games for free. Though you play for tokens it is good for those who do not want to get addicted and lose their money. I have been a member for about four years and it hasn't failed me much. i am not a member of club pogo but i bought a pogo game that had a free pass for five days and it would not let me use it under my account. I had to open a new account. Now i am afraid to buy the pogo card a Target because it might not work. frances

I have been a paying member for one year and just renewed. I have been a member for three years and have never had any problems. I am not sure what or where all these problems come from, but I have had none. Support is always very helpful and I enjoy it for what it is...a game site. It is not going to make me rich, but it does bring out my competitive nature......Not sure what all the moaning is about.

I've been a paying Club Pogo member off and on for a couple of years and haven't had much trouble with it. Sure... server overloads. That's going to happen with any popular bandwidth sucking site. As for the prizes... I doubt they exist, but I don't go there for those anyway since the odds would be astronomical if they really do pay them out.

I won a jackpot on pogo. I was supposed to receive directions on where to claim it. When I checked my account, my email was changed to nobody@nowhere.com. I think this was pogo's doing. There is no way to contact these people. I an beginning to think jackpots are a way of attracting customers and not paying off.

I was verbally assaulted by one person who wanted to have homosexual sex with me, then when I attempted to defend myself against this attack I was banned from the site for being rude. Pogo chess is the best free chess site on the internet. However, it was much better before Electronic Farts took over and messed up the old system. To all of these people complaining about paying for pogo and not recieving good customer service...uuhh..you do know that pogo is a free game site, so why the hell would you pay for it anyway? I never have problems with pogo. I do have problems with Electronic Arts, however, and can only hope that anyone affiliated with the company burns in Christian Hell for all eternity.

I have been a Pogo Member since July of 2000. and gold member for a year. I play primarily Golf there, and the last 4 days they have had trouble with Sawgrass course.. what rubs me wrong is that when i write them an e-mail, they will not reply when they know its their problem, yet at the same time as a paying customer I feel that they could at least respond to a paying customer.

I can't find an address to write to them, and when I fill out the 'send password or send user name' they say they will email me, but they never do. Anyone have an address so I can write to Pogo? Pogo games are great fun, however, if anyone has ever checked out the name of the person who has won money, you will ALWAYS find (at least I have found) that there is NO SUCH PERSON! What is THAT? I doubt the site ever gives people money! I think it is a scam!

The service is terrible because it is always too busy to service its paying customers. The games are fun when you can get on the site, although Word Whomp is so poorly designed that you almost think the designer is retarded. You have to keep losing to build up your points until you finally decide to win to get in the list of high players. Seems to be ass-backwards.

Pogo.com is o.k., the site has good games, and has a reasonable loading rate. However, the majority of pogo users take great pleasure in cheating whether it be freezing when lost, using auto programmes, or working in collusion in the card games. The actions of these people far outweigh the benifits of the site, and pogo seems to do nothing to stop it even when notified. ohhhhh yeah and they kicked me off for complaining!!

Pogo chess games are great except for the program chess cheaters. Also, there are players that lag the server and some freeze the game. Pogo has got to stop these cheaters and abusive players!!!! Overall...PUGO SUX!

Have played Pogo games for 5 years and been a ClubPogo member since day 1. I love the games & chat but the technical probs with the site are horrendous and the email support is abysmal. I will not renew 'til the bugs are worked out. I am so sick & tired of being timed out, booted out, unable to load games, etc., despite having dsl and a fast pc. Really am terribly disappointed as pogo has been my day & night hobby for years but afraid I'll have to abandon it.
