EDIT: Comeback rumors abound for this fall, maybe even as early as Summerslam, but I'm not holding my breath.

He is an assclown

One of my favourite wrestlers (not my favourite though, that's Sabu). He has both great mic skills and great wrestling ability, few wrestlers are as proficient in both areas as Chris.

In August of 1999, the new millinium that World Wrestling Entertainment had been promising us came: and it came in the form of Chris Jericho. I must admit that I was shocked. I had seen him a couple of times in WCW, and was never really impressed. However, I know now that he was never truly given the right oppurtunities over in Turnerland, as his very first segment with The Rock cracked me up. I thought that his feud with Chyna, and then his subsequent teaming with her made for great television. I even thought that it was a good idea for him to get the title in December of 2001. However, since then, this guy seems to be just floating from feud to feud, not sure as to what he should do. I haven't watched it in a while, but I know that Jericho's character is being taken in a horrendous direction, and it all started when they gave him the title. He lost it nearly four months later because due to poor writing, he wasn't able to carry the show. He was merely the guy who they put the belt on until they could get Triple H back in there. It seems that the same thing that happened to Jericho in WCW is happening now. His talent is being wasted and until the WWE wises up, it will continue to be wasted.

Plays a great face character, but sucks as playing the heel.

Went through a stage of being a lost man and his whole Kinf og the World business can grate a bit, but on his day he has some really great matches, but perhaps more so he has a real gift on the mike an i don't really see anyone who can make as much sense and get so much crowd reaction without relying on cheap gimmicks (minus The Rock)

y2j is great. when he came down to australia for global warning, a "you are a wanker" chant started up and in response he says "its bad enough that i have to wresle in this piss-hole country, and now i have to stand here and have a bunch of convicts call me a wanker!?!" hahaha god that was funny. i love that guy.

Good mic and in ring skills. Better as a heel.

Jericho is very underrated. He has great mic skills and is very good in the ring. I do think that his character has taken a dive since his glory days in WCW circa '94-'98 (in which he was hilarious I might add.) but that isn't entirely his fault. He did become one of the top babyfaces in the WWF(E). It's too bad Triple H's backstage politics hurt Jericho's title run so much that his character has been damaged to the point that he's left feuding with lower-middle-card wrestlers such as John Cena. Also, where's the Lion Tamer? That was one of the coolest finishers ever! Now what do we get? The Walls of Jericho? A crappy Boston Crab? Gimmie a break!

Decent wrestler, can't get his persona straight though. One day he's a loud mouth, next day he's buttering up to Vince. But, he does have pretty good moves. If I were in a better mood, I might give him 4.

Even though Chris Jericho has a large head, he is only doing what comes natural to him. When I watch wrestling I can't help but want to kick him in the groin because his voice is very annoying. On the other hand, he doesn't have the stature of someone like Triple H or The Rock, but he is as resilient as ever, and will keep on being the Undisputed WWF Champion as long as he is doing what he is doing.

I have changed my vote on Jericho, his recent title win and feud with the Rock, I think he's starting to show the intensity necessary to make a climb, so I'll bump him up a star.

The Ayatola of Rock n Rolla is underrated in this site....He should be at the top.....He is a tremendous wrestler...ever since WCW and ECW to the WWF...He is truly the best

y2j is a tremendous asset to the wwf.his wrestling skills are just plain awesome.his mic presence is just as great if not better. he is always good for a laugh and usually spares us from any ingrates on the mic! too bad y2j's never around when the stupid rock is force-feeding us his same old lines he used from kindergarten! go jericho go!

Chris Jericho, like the Rock, has just the right combination of wrestling and speaking skills. He has worked hard to get to where he is now and it has definitely payed off. He's now one of the crowd favourites with the WWF. Y2J always has something to say and he has an original and humourous way of presenting his opinions. In the ring he simply kicks ass!

I love the way Y2J calls Stephanie a slut. it is soo funny to see the look on her face. If she doesn't like that, than she should change some of the ways things are done in the WWF
