A running back needs a line. No great back could be great without a little help on the line. Arizona has nothing for him. We know from his days in Indy that he can run the ball.

Too much of a head case.

He's a great weapon. I'm surprised to see the Colts wanting to trade him. He's over-rated by many, but objectively he's a great back for their scheme. It's sort of like how Marshall Faulk was a great back for St. Louis's pass-oriented scheme, even though he probably wasn't the best in the league. UPDATE: I agree with Shane R... I think Edge is a good fit for the Cardinals. He's an excellent receiving back, has good speed and can find holes. The Colts line was pretty well average. Only Jeff Saturday was ever an actual Pro Bowler, and Tarik Glenn was a Pro Bowl injury replacement, vbut he is the only other lineman of note. True, Cardinals line is terrible and definitely a step down, but I don't think Edge will lose much going there. It was a good choice in that I think he fits well in Dennis Green's system.

Last season edge wasnt healthy again and when he got healthy. he turned into a 1000 yard back. If this season he stays healthy he could compete to be a pro-bowler in the RB talent-rich AFC. He always seems to slither out of tackles which makes him unique.

Wasn't getting it done two years ago, health was a question. Perhaps the biggest question is his work ethic, or lack of one. His laziness will keep this naturally gifted athlete from being one of the top 20 RBs of all time.

Claims he's ready to be an All-Pro again. Same thing he said before last season. Shut up and prove it.

He is on, or above Marshall Faulk's level, but anyone looks good with Kurt Warner throwing him the ball. Remember how he (Faulk) was in Indy. Well Edjerrin is better in Indy.

Second-best back in the AFC. Someone in the Central, though, is better...

He is a terrific player - although I am not so sure that his surrounding cast does not have a lot to do with his success, but you cannot take away anything from him because of his teammates.

Granted he plays with a great supporting cast, but he has shown that he will be a big-time back in the NFL for a long time.
