I was waiting for a delivery that I needed that day and had been advised by the company sending it that it would be that day. I have no phone so borrowed my neighbor's portable phone and wrote a note to put downstairs on the apartment building's doorbell system to please ring my neighbor's apt. for my delivery, and signed my name. So later I went downstairs to pick up the mail and saw UPS had left a nearly blank notice that this was their "first attempt." They did not ring at all. I was there the whole day. They also did not put the time of this attempt, nor did they say when their next attempt would be, nor where I could pick it up in person and when. A person may need the delivery immediately so this should be plainly noted every time they leave a notice. But they did not need to leave the notice; they needed to ring the apt. that I asked them to. I did sign my name, and if they needed an I.D. I would've been happy to give them one. I complained to their Website but so far no one has replied to the message. They need to try a little harder and remember that there are times when people leave notices for THEM to deliver to a certain place.
