An egotistical motormouth who lost his nerve very early in his career. He never saw a camera or a microphone that he didn't like. General Motors deserved a representative like him.

With his 84 career wins and three titles, he proved that he was a force to reckon with. He was one of the original outspoken drivers who wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Very entertaining to watch as a commentator on FOX.

Why is it when Ricky Craven comes in within the top five finishers, you never interview him? Is it because he is from the North instead of being one of the Southern "good ole boys"? Just asking!

THE MAN! only Petty has more wins. He took NASCAR to the next level. It's a shame at the end he wasn't with better teams. Dale had offered him a ride with DEI a few years before he died and DW took the Kmart deal. That was a mistake but other than that all I look back on is what a GREAT driver he was and he IS racing on FOX! Boogity,Boogity,Boogity!

Yeah, he stayed in just a tad bit too long in the circuit, but you can't ignore his 84 victories and 3 cup titles. Plus he's proven that he's coming around as a commentator for FOX. He had a little shaky start in 2001 (the Earnhardt tragedy didn't help desite his younger borther winning the Daytona 500), but he came around in '02 and provided pretty good insights about certain stock car facts like downforce and draft. Anyway, he's charismatic, an all-around good ol' boy who left a lasting mark in the sport. Keep him in the group along with Hammond, they're worth watching.

Just when you think you going to get rid of him, what happens? They put in the booth, this guy wont shut up...during the in-car talk, he does just that...get rid of him FOX.

Even though he is a 3 time champion he just didn't seem to be as aggressive as he should have been, especially in the last few years!
