STUPID CRYBABY!

As a football fan, you just enjoyed watching him play. Simply one of the best ever. I put him right behind Marino and Montana on my list. This generation was so lucky to have watched the play of Marino, Montana, and Elway. I think those 3 guys are the best ever. They simply elevated their teams level of play, well Marino and Elway more than Montana cause Montana always had a great team. Marino and Elway had many years in which they had little and they still made them respectable.

Even though I hated the Bronco's John was a great quarterback,He would always get that ball to who ever he was throwing to.

He did not lead the Broncos to the two rings. Terrel Davis did. Elway is very overrated. He can't compare to Marino or even the also overrated Montana.

Elway didn't win anything until they got a running game. He isn't the best player of all time. He isn't even the best QB. He's somewhere around 5th behind Unitas, Montana, Marino and Sammy Baugh

the only quarterback that i know of ever that was able to take a horrible team to the superbowl 3 times. then when he finaly had a MEDIOCRE team behind him they won 2 superbowls in a row, and opened the 98 season 13-0. and if you dont believe me look what denver has done without him

GREATEST and Strongest ARM of all time....Most durable of all time...If he played for the 49ers they would have gone to the superbowl every year..Only pro bowler on all those 80's broncos teams to go to superbowl(3 to be exact). Was a one man team until shanahan became coach. Winningest QB off all time.... No way montana would have been so good without the 49ers..Guess what? Elway was...Look at montana with the chiefs lol....Even Brett Favre Says I Quote " Elway was the player I watched growing up and patterned my game around him, in my opinion he is the best quaterback of all time"...Enough said ...just give this man the credit he deserves

Another player who cared more about personal stats than the team. Would not have a Super Bowl to speak of had they finally not got a good running back. He himself wasn't good enough to pull it off.

He is the best quarterback of the modern era with the exception of Farve (still writing his own books). He took his team to 3 super bowls with NO offense. He is the most sacked quarterback of all time and yet he is also the most durable (6 games missed). If you factor in the fact that he was one of the best scramblers that says a lot about how crappy his O-line was in the early years. If you take Marino or Montana and put them in the early system they wouldn't have lasted 5 years. Put Elway in those systems and he might have broken all the records. Had all the tools - strong arm, quick release, scrambling and rushing ability, and the ability to shrug off bad plays. Most of all, he was a winner. After he retired the same Broncos team could not do squat with virtually the same players. One of the best,

Elway's high interception numbers are one of the main reasons he made so many 4th quarter comebacks.

He should have stayed and repeated again for a 3rd Super Bowl. I think he had a chance.

John Elway is hands down one of the best quarterbacks in the world. He changed the way quarterbacks scrambled. Nobody can mess with Elway. He is the best, and has an arm like nobody else I have ever seen.

He is a legend who could always come back in a game. He is a very fun player to watch which kept games entertaining. He is charismatic but also supports organiztions which help out children of all ages.

You have to hand it to him. He did about everything you could possibly hope for during a pro athletic career, and still found time to become a businessman to be reckoned with (Car Dealerships, MVP.com). And if there was ever any doubt as to what he could do, check out the Broncos without him.
