I'm embarassed to admit that I didn't know this guy existed until this year's play-offs. I had long ago considered San Antonio to be dull, but watched them this year to see if they could beat the Lakers. What an impressive player - he can do lots of things so well and is great fun to watch. He sounds intelligent during post-game interviews too, unlike some players out there.

A real class act. Duncan plays hard, unselfish and makes his team better because of it. And is not hungry to collect endorsement money. You won't see Tim trying to sell you cola or long distance options any time soon.

Superb series against the Lakers, especially game six in L.A. He sent Shaq to the house without so much as a parting gift. I will be shocked if the Spurs don't win the championship.

Ballplayer with extreme substance in a league overrun with style. Passes, dribbles, shoots, and moves so well for a man of his size. He does not turn every dunk into an opportunity to yell and squeeze his balls. He ACTS LIKE HE'S BEEN THERE BEFORE. . .because he does have an NBA title to his credit. (Yes, I know it was the strike-year with the Knicks. . .) Duncan's numbers are simply outstanding and always rank among the leauge leaders. Ever check out his field-goal percentage?

Da best player, EVER!!! He's tall, fast, can play defence, and has a great outside shot! And for all you people who think shaq is better, YOU'RE CARZY!!! Duncan has twice as much skill as him, and still has 17 years left to play! The best player in the N.B.A. without a doubt in my mind.

Duncan is a great player and a good person. He's not like alot of NBA players. The game is not just about him and he knows it. He's always trying to get the other players involved in the game and he doesnt get in the opposing players face when he does something good. He's a role model

Since Tim Duncan is my favorite player, I think that he is awesome. I have been following him since Wake Forest. I just love they way that he leaves the crowd guessing. You never know what he is thinking and he doesn't humiliate himself in front of his fans. I would do anything to meet Tim and if he ever reads this, Tim I am probabley not your biggest fan but I'm so close it's scarey. Have a great rest of the season and I hope that you keep getting stronger.

What more could one ask of a player? Tim has it all, together with a coachable low-key style that will make him highly sought-after by front offices, coaches and team mates. If anyone deserves the money NBA players get, Tim will.

Undoubtedly, the best player in the league and he is so young. He can do everything: shoot, rebound, defend, pass. His game is so refined. Of course, it hasn't hurt having David Robinson standing next to him on the frontline, but Duncan would be great anywhere.

Is going to be around for a long, long time. Has such an effortless style, that by the time the game ends, you can't believe that he got 30 points and 15 rebounds, again.
