Iverson is a great player. He's fun to watch, he plays his heart out and he's enomously talented. He wears his heart on his sleeve and has more heart and guts than most other people do. He is tough and he's keepin' it real. People dont get him because he's from a generation and social class most NBA fans cannot relate to. He does have his flaws, but he's maturing and he's really not much worse than other Pro athletes these days.

Showboater. He is a wanna-be bad boy with little skill. He also show he had no respect we he and the rest of the USA basketball team couldn't even shake the hands of the Aregentian and Italian teams at the Olympics after the medal presantation.
witakay 09/09/2004
if i shot 30 times a night from the field, sure i would average 28 per game. career 35% field goal shooter, sucked ass in the olympics, loosen up your corn rolls and maybe you could see the hoop.
ai_babygurl01 08/18/2004
yall know my baby ai is the best of them all so he definitley deserves a 5

califcarlson 06/04/2004
Every single time i see him play he's played horrible. EVERY single time. This makes me think that his career isn't on the rise.

the longer he stays in SIXERS, the more likely he would be like GARY PAYTON in SONICS
R_buddens 02/25/2004
Allen Iverson is the greatest player ever to bless the game of basketball, ever.
cktops 12/26/2003
He shoots alot, but so did Jordan.
Carolinew. 12/11/2003
I think that Allen Iverson is alright. I think that he is a nice looking man, and I believe he has skill, but when it comes to his attitude I think he has a lot to improve.
DrFeelgood03 10/21/2003
Ass, who can't play REAL basketball.
jamestkirk 09/02/2003
Pure scorer who is one of the top ten players in the league.
BucFanSince76 08/17/2003
Actually, the rating is zero. He's already talkin' trash about Kobe. Just jealous that he's not the championship-caliber player Kobe is. Probably the idol for "people who come up short in life" everywhere. Will NEVER join the Bird, Magic, MJ, Isiah, and Dumar "I've got a ring" club.
liliverson31 07/16/2003
Hes an awesome player, very talented. I respect him for the skills he shows on the court. I do, however, believe that could use a little break from the fans and media who are always criticizing him for who he is. Just let him play the game and give him room to breath.
snlgirl 06/22/2003
Even though Iverson seems to have some problems with the law, I have to give him the highest rating, because he is one of the best players out there right now. The sixers would be completely lost without him. Go Sixers!

AI is a known Philly criminal, and I don't think that is mitigated by his activity on the court, just his activity _in court_.
rogerls 05/31/2003
over rated over payed cry baby
kev03 05/29/2003
allen iverson is the best player in the league. you cant compare him to any player. not cry babby kobe, fat shaq, or boring old tim duncun.he will go down as the best sixer of alltime.

He can carry his team pretty well, but he's not quite on the same level as a Tim Duncan.
Cam'ron 05/11/2003
Allen Iverson is a huge ballhog. He takes like 25 shots a game and makes a quarter of them. He talks stuff that he can't back up. I truly hate AI and I hope detroit crushes the 76ers. Again Iverson isn't a team player and I know I wouldn't want him on my team. If you have any comments e-mail me at cphelpsplayer@yahoo.com

Allen iverson is a great player and it hurts me to hear people talk about him.If their not talking about his tatoos their talking about his pass. But they can't never say he made it through a struggle and good things like he is one of the best to ever play in the game ,his crossover,or jumper.but i hope he make the olympics.i want to tell allen to keep his head up and keep during your thing and froget about the nagetive people say about you from your biggest fan Mrs.Iverson*all hats off to allen!!

Allen Iverson is a great basketball player. He is not only a great player, but I think he is a wonderful person. So what he have braids and tattoos that doesn't make or break him. I really look up to Allen not only because he have great b-ball skills but because of all the life trials he had to go through to be where he is today, Allen still havn't gave up and he deserves to be admired. Hats off to Allen!!!! Allen's biggest fan
awsome ball 02/18/2003
allen iverson is awsome he may not dunk much but he sure can work along that three point line
CanadaSucks 02/17/2003
Plays hurt, plays hungry, cares about the game. He is the fastest man I have ever seen on the court. Only complaint is the low field-goal percentage. . .but you gotta love a guard with no conscience to shoot 11 for 36.
dunkinmvp 02/17/2003
AWESOME!
boomer9999 02/08/2003
Allen Iverson is good basketball player who can get it done on both ends of the floor. What keeps him from being great is his shooting percentage and his attitude. He is the typical modern athelete thinking he doesn't have to practice and the world owes him something. His defesive intensity, and the fact that he get's it done at 5-11 165, keeps him from dropping lower on my scale.
amj720 02/03/2003
he can go to hell
hollaholla 01/22/2003
Absolutely the best player in the league...He's got the most heart, most drive, most dedication to the game...he gives it his all every game...Sayin he shouldnt represent our country? AI is what our country is about...AI came from the streets and made it from the streets...hes not gonna change...let's be realistic...is there more kids livin like ai lived or like ray allen lived? let's not try to fool the world...ai is what we all should be about
garyablett 01/09/2003
Anyone who shoots at below 40 percent is an ill-disciplined ball hog. He reflects all that is wrong with American basketball now, and why the USA finished sixth at the world championships. Extremely athletic, talented but in the end selfish to the detriment of others.
HomeMonkey 12/27/2002
Iverson has alot of talent. His game is great. He is one of the best players in the NBA. But far from the best. He shoots to much. Has a horrable attitude. Hopefully he dosen't get on the Olympic Team.
HDawg1248 12/24/2002
AI is one of the NBA's biggest competitors and is one of the few players left in the league who plays every game like it's his last. He gets bonus points for his flossin' crossover on MJ back in 97.
Tamzika 12/13/2002
He is talented but he is bad news.
Ms_Sexy 12/09/2002
He is so fine!
BigBadTA 11/23/2002
he's nothing but an average punk who would be in jail if he wasn't in the NBA. He publicly admits he doesn't practice in the worst press conference i have ever seen, he is an embarassment to his team and the league. Takes 40 shots a game, but as long as he gets his 25 to 30 points, that's all that matters to him. I hope he never dawns a Celtics jersey, i hope the next time he does something deserving of jail time, which we shouldn't have to wait long for, he gets the time he deserves.
hrod 11/12/2002
This guy gets paid too much money, and has too much attitude. He won't get any of my money!.
Averagejoe54 10/31/2002
I've been a 76ers fan since before the days of Dr. J. However, I will not invest two seconds on the team now until Iverson is gone. "Practice, I mean we're talkin bout practice." Yeah, that is the kind of values I want my son to adopt. Trade him and I'll return.
monty02 08/08/2002
AI is the absolute Best, of his time it is a shame that he is confined to a terrible team like the 76ers and not able to express his real skill.
thekeator 05/17/2002
he smokes everyone on the court.and he plays all positions, well too.
yoshislink 05/10/2002
great player, Bad shot selection.
ellajedlicka21 11/19/2001
Barring all obvious things about his appearance, attitude, and intellect, Iverson can downright score and put it in the hole. I am not a fan of the 76ers, but I really am able to see that Iverson is probably the best player in the league.
Powerpuffgirl 08/09/2001
tattoos, man forgewtthem, it matters whats in you notwhats on you, he has a big heart, that smallguy doesnt need -pplethat tracsh talk bout him 24/7. he has grown up,a nd matured cosiderably, yah thelyrics werent the greatestthing he did,but heckput the negative stuff behind yah, and see how hes brought his team to a new level, one htat needs to be recognised,a nd appreciated, so to all yah pestimistic peeps out there, shut that yap of yours andfor once thank the kid. Again id liek to sya, he has maatured, he and his cosch have and awesom relationship now, alongwiht the team, hes a better person, player, and father. devoted to the gameandhavinghtat eager and ndefeated look inhis eyes he is someone you got to admire. That doent mean i would go and get a tattoo but thats my personal choice, istill love him forwho he is, and ill always b a fan, and never let trash talk in bull****ers say stuuf bout him, cause he is the main man, and there isno way they could trade them, cause that would be the dumbestthing to do in sports history! Id lie to sya thanx ai for all yah help and contributions to the nba, and your team and for puttin on a show for the fans. I gotta give my props to him when they are due.....and that is always!

jibman33 07/05/2001
At the beginning of the season, I wasn't sure what to think about Allen Iverson. I thought he was a good player, and definitely the best player on his team, but I wasn't sure whether he really wanted to be an NBA superstar or just another thug in the hood. But during the NBA Playoffs, I discovered exactly what the man who is called "The Answer" is all about. I watched in awe as he drove fearlessly into the lane against players who were much bigger than he was, and how he continued to play after getting knocked around so badly that many of us would have had to take a week off from work. I watched as he almost rallied his team back from a 30-point 4th quarter deficit against Milwaukee in Game 6 of the Eastern Finals. I saw how his team harnessed his raw emotion and rode it all the way to the Finals. As for his appearance and lifestyle, that is simply a case of a man being himself. Iverson has made me into a Sixers fan, but more importantly, he has made me into one of his fans.
