Vick is a media creature. In college, VA Tech was the 11th rated passing offense in the Big East. Two weeks ago, he had under 170 yards passing, under 50%, and rushed 7 times for 9 yards. For THAT performance, he was the cover of Sports Illustrated. He stinks.

Kids got amazing footwork. He beat Favre at his own stadium in the playoffs, making him the first to do so. Only problem is he had a 51% completion rate in his only full season. Now that he has weapons he can't use the I have no one to throw to excuse anymore. Lets see what happens. As an athelete is is amazing, we will see how he does in his new West Coast offense

Most overrated player in the game today. What has he done that makes him a good QUARTERBACK!?

If you built the best QB from the parts of other QB's it still probably would't equal Michael Vick , at least physically. People forget his first full year he had the lowest interceptions among starters and a great touchdown/INT ratio. He needs some talent and elevate everybody the way Mc Nabb does and he will be one of the best. Besides his feet he has a cannon for an arm and a nice touch on timing patterns. He is actually pretty good at checking off receivers and making reads. Uhrlacker and Brooks usually have his number but they are the only ones. If he studies the game and works hard and gets some talent with him there is no limit.

Definately the most electrifying player in the game, hopefully he can stay healthy. Accuracy is a problem on intermediate throws, but, when you have legs like his, run for 12-18 yards. Wannabe Steve Young could someday be as great if not better.

I like him he's pretty good at passing but a lot of the time he can't tell the difference between rb and qb how else could a qb get 170 rushing yards in one game

Only visiting QB ever to win a playoff game in Lambeau Field. I am sure everyone is going to set the standard for Vick as 0 superbowls Vick sucks. These are the same people that think only white people can play QB. Too bad the NFL is still filled with clowns that don't realize how much better a QB is if he can run a 40yd dash under 7.0 sec. Dan Marino NFL all-time leading passer was pathetic and he has 0 titles to show for his piss pore athletics and 8 wonderlic. VICK will go down as a top 5 QB ever.

This kid has proven nothing to me. First of all, his numbers did not qualify him for the Pro Bowl in 2002. Brad Johnson was superior to Vick in every stat with the exception of rushing vards, and correct me if I'm wrong but Vick is a QB, not a RB. His Pro Bowl appearance was the result of a popularity contest and nothing more. Vick has not played a down during this season, yet I've heard more about this guy than I have about McNair, Green, or Manning, and those guys are leading their teams to new heights while Vick sits ON THE BENCH. I make NFL picks every Sunday for fun, and when researching the Falcons on ESPN, every analysis every week spends half their time with comments about Vick, even though he's NOT playing and will have nothing to do with the outcome of the game. To hear the media talk about him, you'd think he'd won 8 Super Bowls in a row and wins football games with a blindfold on. Well, he's not won ANYTHING yet. He's so great? How many national championships did he win in college? Zero. When he came out of college, his greatness should have made him an automatic starter, right? what? He backed-up Chris Chandler??! Well, then, he stomped every team he played since then, right? What? 9-7 record? Completely shut down TWICE by the Buccaneers defense? How did that happen? I thought Vick was superhuman? Hey, maybe he should wear the headset and call plays into his QB like Kurt Warner did Monday night (10/14/2003)... in fact, why WASN'T he calling plays? Vick is the greatest QB to ever live, certainly he can call in plays better than Warner? I'm sorry for the extreme sarcasm and venom I'm spewing towards this guy. It's not Vick's fault, but if I were to blame the media I'd probably be branded a racist. The fact remains that vick is nowhere near the superstud he's made out to be and the only thing he's proven is that he's a heck of an athlete. It took many years for Favre to "prove" he was a great QB; in fact, most people didn't believe how great he was until he won a Super Bowl after being in the league 5+ years. Vick needs to pay his dues the same as the rest of the players, or you'll end up with egg on your face for hyping him. Remember Dante Culpepper a couple of years ago? The media worshipped him and then he proved to be worth a bit less than the hype. I wish Vick hadn't gotten injured so that he could PROVE IT instead of being pumped up incessantly. 3 stars.

let's take it easy throwing the fives around until he accomplishes something a little bit more substantial than making a 300+ pound lineman look stupid on sportscenter. he is very talented. he has a strong arm and is obviously very fast(but not the fastest in the league). but he has yet to throw for either 3,000 yards(200 per game will get you to 3,200) or throw for 20 tds in a season!! he may develop into a complete quarterback, but until he does, lets get real.

If Price is the real deal, this guy will put up MVP-type numbers.

This is the prototype QB of the future. I love a QB that can run with the ball, especiall like Vick!

What can you say about a quarterback who is one of the fastest players in the nfl with a strong arm and amazing agility? As long as he has a little help from the running game (I love it when they run the Power I with TJ Duckett in the line up) and a couple of decent receivers, I would be afraid to play against the Falcons.

although he is one of the best running QB's in the league i dont think he will be around as long as some of the greats because when you run like a RB you get hit like one also it will be a shame when or if he gets hurt bad

holy crap, when you watch the film, it doesn't look like he's that fast but then why does it seem like everybody else in the picture that's chasing him look like they runnin in slo-mo? needs to protect the ball better tho, he's a little fumble prone. he's got a crazy strong arm too. mike vick, who woulda known the hype was real?
