While I've tried the more conventional version of cocaine, I've been able to steer clear of "crack" although I have a younger half-sister in trouble with the authorities because of it. She spent 6 months in re-hab; didn't work. She's been arrested and is facing jail time; I'm hoping her fear of jail will work in keeping her away from the crack, but, knowing what I know about people and drugs, I have reason to be pessimistic. Cheaper than conventional cocaine, it also doesn't last as long, necessitating even more usage in order to maintain the high (crack has been called the McDonald's of drugs; it's cheap, has little substance or quality to it, and you're hungry again before you know it). A friend of mine died in his 30's of a sudden, massive heart attack. He had abused booze and drugs for years, and at the end of his life I know he used crack on occasion. I'm not saying the crack alone was responsible for his death...obviously, years of abusing a variety of drugs had had a cumulative effect on his system...but the crack assuredly was a contributing factor.

I have rated this drug a five because the dealers are making sooo much money of this crap. you smoke it once or twice and your hooked, they got you, 10 minutes later your callin up your dealer again wanting to get a rock fronted just till you get paid. a month later your giving bj's just to get the crap.

I got some crack that tastes like ass. How do you cook the bad taste out? It appears to be an oil base cut that is causing the problem so its hard to cook it out.

Crack is for bottom feeders. Do heroin instead if you want to be enslaved to a drug. That way your ass will be passed out, instead of all 'wired and strung out' breaking into peoples houses and selling your booty for the 'almighty' 5 minutes of bliss that accompanies this horrible drug.

I have just been on a month long crack binge and I'll tell you what... If I don't fix this little problem in a hurry I know I am screwed. Well I probably already am. This is the absolute hardest challenge you can put in your life period. You think life sucks now get on a routine of smoking crack and let me know how you are doing then. I rated it a 2, and it would be zero if the high wasn't included. The couple minutes of pleasure are amazing, but it is followed quickly by such a terrible feeling it totally flips it's switch in a hurry.

The euphoria is unsurpassable, but the comedown is much more horrible than regular HCI coke. I would rate it a 10 if i could and not counting the comedown...but seriously out of all drugs this is the only one I really regret doing afterwards heavily, I still do it occassionaly but that rock bottom comedown SUCKS.

Not as fast a way to kill yourself as blowing your brains out, but just as effective in the long run.

Recreational drugs like crack cocaine SUCK! They are illegal! They should be taken off our streets and their dealers and pushers should be put in jail for the rest of their lives! They are to blame for our crack babies, high murder rate, robberies, rapes, and kids dropping out of school and not getting a good education!

I'm extremely open minded about drugs, but Crack just sucks. Who was the genius that looked at coke and said "hmmn, this isn't strong enough...lets concentrate it so junkies can freebase it!" Far too potent, far too addictive, far too dangerous, and far too cheap. It's such a lethal combination.

Crack in itself does nothing to our society, its the way people use it. I have absolutely no idea what would drive someone to start using drugs like this, but it shows a severe problem with our society and existing drug laws/enforcement.
