Opium 3

I've had my problem with opiates in general over the years, but I only tried opium once, while I was in high school. A friend and I were attempting to make some extra money after school doing yardwork and such in the area we lived in. Some wealthy people in the surrounding mountains hired us to rake leaves and generally pick up debris (in retrospect, they probably thought they were making out like fat rats, hiring dumb kids for peanuts instead of expensive professionals; it's been my experience that wealthy people are some of the cheapest people around). They were out when we arrived, and my friend (who, if possible, was even more immature than I was) announced that he had brought along some opium with him and maybe it would relax and loosen us up before we began the heavy physical labor of our assignment. I was game. It was a beautiful fall day, I was a lazy and shiftless teenager, and I hated raking leaves with a passion (my father used to make me do it until my hands felt as big as catcher mitts). My friend and I smoked his opium in a makeshift pipe that he usually used for his marijuana (which, surprisingly, I was never that fond of). My initial thought as I inhaled was that it wasn't having any particular effect upon me. As it turned out, though, my friend and I never left my car and never raked one leaf. Needless to say, that was one client that never hired us again. Although I liked my experience with opium, I never had an opportunity to do it again, and never sought it out. I used to read about the opium dens in NY's Chinatown during the early part of the 20th century, and thought that would be an extremely pleasant way to while away an afternoon. Not that I'm advocating the use of opiates; they're highly addictive, both physically and emotionally, and, like other drugs of this type, ultimately take away far more than they give. Still, the sad reality is that opiates can provide short-term pleasure, euphoria, and escape from some of the harsher aspects of life (as well as providing paranoia, constipation, depression, addiction, and insomnia), and some of my most pleasurable memories involve their use (and abuse).

AWESOME, truly the most underrated drug that has been so notorious since the beginning of time, anyone who has smoked this and not been impressed hasnt done it right, they have found opium pods in egyptian tombs and it was referred to as the joy plant, heroin is dangerous, opium is not, it IS addictive though, just dont smoke 2 days in a row, i am not a heavy drug user, but this stuff is awesome, its alcohol without the hang-over or nausea, and produces mild dream-like hallucinations, SMOKE OPIUM!!! ull love it.

Highly addictive and it's destroying many Asian countries. Large percentages of Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, etc. are addicted to this drug and probably will be until the day they die.

Speaking of oxycontin the stuff almost killed me. I'm responsible for my own actions but anyone who thinks it's just fun is a fool. I took it for a very serious injury, as I learned the stuff is way to much fun. I had never done a drug in my life nor did I want to. This stuff traps you if you see it run you aren't strong enough to fight it. For anyone going through addiction and wanting to get out look for Ultra-rapid-detox. You go through 3 weeks of withdraw in 3-6 hrs and the whole time your asleep. That dosen't make it easy but it an be what gets you to beat it. If you have any questions on it please leave a message for me I will give you all the info I have. It is a hellish way to live but you can get out of it. Trust me i'm nothing special and I thank God I was able to live again.

mmmm....opium. Anyone who has tried oxycontin, or hydrocodone (in higher doses) has experienced a sample of what Opium is like. It blankets your body in a warm reassuring feeling and makes all your worries go away. It is excellent combined with Marijuana. Unfortunately, unlike Marijuana, Opium is physically addictive. Don't get sucked into it's spell...it's a great drug, as long as you aren't addicted.

Opium is excellent. A very gentle calm feeling, great to smoke a little before going to sleep. Its not as powerful as many of the opiate painkillers because its not as pure, the experience of somking it is ritualisic and fun.
