I don't care for her at all. I wish they would replace her because one day she's going to find herself suffering from the hands of some crazy person who will not just say they hate her but show her with bodily harm. Everytime I hear her speak I brace myself for some stupid remark.

I think that in general, trying to make comparisons between talk show hosts is like trying to pick fly crap out of pepper. They're all pretty bad, right or left, male or female. They are to real journalism what Star Trek is to Shakespeare. 

This meat puppet looks a little better than some, but she's still a meat puppet.  Moreover, she is a cartoon caricature Republican, a supposed counterpoint for the cartoon character Democrats beside her.  Listening to political commentary from The View, be it from Whoopie Goldberg, Barbara Walters, or Elisabeth Hasselbeck is like getting restaurant reviews from the RIA Grizz gang.

Elisabeth personifies everything that I cannot stomach in the so-called "Christian Conservative Republicans." She has terrible listening skills, absolutely no empathy when it comes to acknowledging that other people may think differently than her. She wings insults, and thinks that talking over and interrupting Barbara Walters is respectful, professional behavior. I stopped watching the View long ago because of Elizabeth but would gladly go back once she leaves. Her hateful attitude is divisive and it makes me crazy that this closed minded woman has a voice on national tv. Surely there must be a more intelligent, respectful, conservative woman who could take her place.

EliSabeth H. is annoying. I can't get through an episode of The View because I cannot stand her tantrums. She plays such a victim role that it makes me want to puke. And by the way, EH--answering a question with a question is not answering the question AT ALL. Good luck to you and all of your super right wing ways, EH. Why is this woman even on tv at all? Everyone has a right to their opinion, but Hasselbeck cant even back up hers. She is so far out there, that her view is totally distorted. She cant even answer Barbara's question without asking another question. I even heard the audience booing her. I just cant stand her. Not that I am a Joy fan either, but at least Joy can back up her claims and opinions. EH acts like a two year old, crying, and throwing hissy fits and godforbid someone wants to counteract her blabber. GO AWAY EH...no one wants you.

She's not bright - for the past couple of days she's been on a kick, laughing that Joe Biden was mistakened when he said that FDR was the president during the depression. Who the heck does she think was president??? He was elected in 1932. 1936, 1940, and 1944. There were many reasons why the depression occurred but one of them is a decade of conservative, republican presidents who were strong believers in laissez-faire (She probably doesn't know what that means). SO, get your facts straight or just keep quiet!

I loved The View, but it has been very hard to watch with her hissy fits over the last two years. I am an Independent so my opinion has NOTHING to do with her political views. She rudely talks over top of everyone, makes irrational comments, and is constantly fighting with all of the other hosts. It is very annoying. I contacted Bill G. on the View website to let him know I would appreciate her being replaced.

I think her and sean hannity are related. They are both big mouth republicans that don't let others talk unless they have the same views as they do. They both should be fired.

She may be intelligent, but she comes across as just plain rude. She learned an unfortunate lesson from Rosie - if I'm louder than you and talk faster than you, then I win. She won't let anyone else speak. And her loud, whiny, grating voice is like a nail going through your head. If she'd let the others voice their opinions, I would enjoy the show. As it is, I just roll my eyes and hit the mute button every time she starts on a rant. Which is practically every day. Elisabeth, if you're so insecure that you can't let anyone else speak, maybe you need to get your own radio show where you can rant and rave and carry on until you're blue in the face, and we can all ignore you without missing out on the things we love about The View.

i'm starting to understand why The View is keeping E.H. despite her inability to contribute to intelligent, meaningful and ultimately satisfying conversations. I realized, her contribution isn't at witty, sensible, or profound banter. It's to bring viewers back to the show. If only to witness that one moment when a perfect argument stumps her to finally utter the one word reflective of her impeccable grasp of reason and reality--DUH. Oh Bliss!

Sadly, this blabber mouth has ears of a fish on reason. She does have indefatigable spirit. I give her that. She has elevated the banter to the cackle of frogs that drown the nightingale song of sense and reason, all by herself. Bravo!

I love the View but think it would be better without Elisabeth. I get so frustrated watching her! She comes across as very immature, misinformed, and VERY defensive. She doesn't seem to feel like others are entitled to an opinion unless it is in line with her own.

I love The View for opportunity to listen to opposing views which encourages me review my own opinions. However, Elisabeth Hasselbeck does not offer her opinions, she attempts to force them down every one's throat. She does not discuss issues, she preaches, rants and raves and becomes so embroiled when opinions conflict with her own that she behaves immaturely and unprofessionally. I've watched Barbara subtly try to settle her down on several occasions to avoid further embarassment for her and the show and believe that after all of this time she should realize that Elisabeth is not an asset to the show, but a detriment. Hasselbeck's unprofessional referral to "the other wife of a political candidate" along with her degrading tone of voice at the republican luncheon which she hosted should be enough to get her fired. This one incedent alone should give notice anyone involved with the show, be it potential political or celbrity guest and the producers of the show that Elisabeth cannot be trusted to be professional or candid and that her opiniated mindset and immaturity has far outlasted it's welcom.

I am watching The View right now and I have been watching for years. I just finished watching Elisabeth Hasselbeck speak about politics or at least what she understands about politics. Why is she on this show? How does she qualify to be on this show? How is this ignorant woman getting a pay check for her opinion? I have reached the end of my rope. The View's audience tunes in to hear the women on the show express their point of view on different matters. YET, everytime politics come up on the show, which happens on a daily basis, the Republican Elisabeth opens her mouth and I find myself rolling my eyes and yelling back at the screen. She reminds me of all the blonde, born again, cheerleaders at my High School who would just speak for the sake of speaking. Ms. Walters...PLEASE get rid of Elisabeth. I can't stand it anymore. If you want to have a "Republican" point of view, then bring in a woman who is more in touch with reality and the real world...not the candyland Elisabeth lives in.

Elisabeth is harassed on the View? I know "the ladies" explain that their friends off set, but friends don't talk to friends the way they are allowed on the View. Any talk about the Presidential election and you know Elisabeth will be "slammed" by Joy and Woppie. Three ladies against one person are not fair and Joy and Woppie seem to mock Elisabeth and upset her. This is upsetting. Joy and Woppie need to stop verbally abusing Elizabeth or The View needs to find someone to help support Elisabeth.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is on Fox's payroll. She talks to Hannity every evening and gets her talking points. Everything she talks about politically is directly correlated to what they talk about on Fox. She is extremely annoying. When a democrat makes a mistake, the women who are obvious democrats on the panel will point that out. Elisabeth on the other hand will never admit to a mistake made by a republican. John McCain could punch her in the face and she'd have a valid excuse for it. She goes off on tangents about Obama constantly and when the information is proven to be mistaken, she just smiles and says nothing. It's pitiful.

From the last two or three posts which reference Ann Coulter, Fair and Balanced, and Rosie O'Donnell as a " bloated whale carcass," I think you can see from whence Elizabeth's support comes and why a vast majority simply find her lacking in talent and manners. If we wanted to be entertained by bullys, we would watch Bill O'Loofah and Shamity. This is a major network; she just doesn't belong here.

It's obvious that Elizabeth Hasselbeck works for the Republican Party. Why in the world would someone like her get invited to the White House to when the Queen of England was there. It's obvious the Republican party loves that she spews the Republican talking points on a daily basis. People dislike her because she's rude and abrasive. This is America and room for all opinions but don't try an force your opinions on everyone. They need to get rid of her like they did Rosie. I am no fan of hers. if she won the contest over hundreds of applicants, to be on this show , i would wonder what they were looking for. she comes off prissy and miss know it all. and goody two shoe. unless the other applicants were just like Debbie M. not sure what they see in her. her voice is irritating she talks too fast.  UPDATE  I was glad she was gone for two months. did not miss her at all. I don't watch the view often, but caught it today while trapped on the treadmill. Elizabeth's antics practically gave me a heart attack - she's RIDICULOUS! Count me a "never again viewer" - in fact, I think that we should band together and start contacting the advertisers. She belongs at home full time where she can shop, get her hair done, meet her friends for lunch, and quietly judge/fear any person of color from afar. She doesn't deserve ANY stars!
