I would enjoy getting a CD if the gift giver knew what I liked. I have even given specific CDs on my wish list and i am always to receive a new CD to add to my collection. Otherwise It would probably be better to give them a gift certificate to a music store so the person can choose what they want.

oh yeah this is the second coolest item for me, I love cd's and I listebn to music 24/7! I am a big music freak and I am mostly into dance and trance music (like enya,enigma,la bouche,s.o.a.p.,BSB,dido,moby,gwen,destiny's child,and any other club style artists) I gotta have the latest dance cd's and I always want more cd's! yep I just wish that the prices could be lower! oh well.

For me, this is the ideal gift. Maybe not for all women and girls, but I can alays use some new additions to the Queen & REM & Co. faction.
