Just about as bad as TV gets...

It's June 1st. 2005. I saw Evan Marriott on t.v. the other day.He happened to be mentioning some of the mean things women say to him when they see him, because of him being on Joe Millionaire and not telling the truth about how much $$$'s he really make (or something to that effect). D**N! Get over it,girlz! You know you would have only wanted the money too. Not Evan.Or true love. Why is EVERYONE becoming so materialistic in this lifetime? You can't take the money with you when you die.And although a person can't completely live without some cash.I think it's a lot less lonely at night being held by true love's arms than by $$$. T.V. is acting, right? DUH! Personally,I'm thrilled for Evan. He bought his own construction company.Cool! I doubt he'll ever settle for less than true love.I hope all your dreams come true Evan! I hope you find who makes your heart smile.

How cruel... but those greedy girls deserved it (money grubbers!)
Maomania 03/01/2005
He is not that good looking. And all those hookers who are just interessted in the money....whatever.
Mr Evangel 10/08/2004
This was to funny! All the girls in this were stupid. He lied to us Waaaa Thats what the show was about Duh
BeatlesfanStev eo 07/11/2004
It wasent my favorite reality show but I did enjoy it a little bit.
Norcalfella 06/17/2004
This show put reality on the map of big time with the high ratings. Watching those money hungry women squirm was priceless. http://www.small.to/article.php?story=2003021101414 9171
concernedgirl 03/26/2004
it was an okay show but give all races a chance to do the show too what is it is only one race aloud to do this show
minkey 02/23/2004
I was hooked. I thought the idea was terrific - lying to all those money-hungy women was great. Evan Marriot was the right guy for the part. Tall and good looking, sort of a blundering idiot but a cool guy nonetheless.

Well I thought the show was exciting and fun, maybe its a girl thing... Evan is eye candy and i'm glad he won that cash! If you didn't like it then why carry on watching it?! Hasn't anybody got anything nice to say? Crumbs - lifes too short to be a moaning miserable git....
mikeholly93 10/08/2003
A stupid ripoff of THE BACHELOR!!! The women are pretty but the show is dubious. Joe Millionaire is really not rich and may end up using the woman he won.
lotr417 05/28/2003
They should've done a female millionaire version of the show too - just to show that it's not only women who are greedy and "in it" for all the wrong reasons. I'm not a reality tv fan, but this one hooked me.
President -X-D 04/30/2003
Bad bad bad. TV can be such a waste of time.
mst3k4evr 04/29/2003
I only saw bits and pieces of this show during its run and didn't really care for it. I couldn't stand looking at Evan for more than a few seconds at a time; I do not think that he is good-looking at ALL. And I also didn't like Sarah because, to me, she seemed like a stuck-up little bitch. Her comment towards the end about Zora being naive and "falling off the turnip truck" sealed the deal for me. I guess because Zora wasn't a party girl and a smoker made her a loser in Sarah's eyes. That type of attitude is SO "high school". Finally, let's pray that there is not a second season. And there shouldn't be because there is NO way that any woman would still fall for it. Unless they are Amish or living in a cave.
twinmom101 04/19/2003
It was misleading, tawdry, exploitative and too long and drawn out, but we were all glued to our sets to watch this crap. Even my 50 year old research scientist father who NEVER watches TV was yelling at the tube when we had to wait another week to see who "Joe" picked. It may have been bad, but we all watched it and now Fox is whistlin Dixie all the way to the bank.
Shnikees 03/22/2003
Very, very realistic. I only wish more shows could provide reality this true and plot twists so cunning.
AmazingMole 03/16/2003
Joe Millionaire was an entertaining rip-off. I enjoyed Paul The Butler, Saint Zora, Evil Heidi, Foot Fetish Sarah, and MOJO's Hats. The only thing that bothers me is the ending. The twist wasn't exciting. When the cameras stop rolling, Joe Dirt & Saint Zora broke up. It was obvious that Evan had more feelings for Sarah. This show is too much!!!
angusmacpherso n 03/13/2003
Pathetic. More televised feces for voyeuristic people with no lives who have to live vicariously through others to make it from day to day...
faniam 03/07/2003
This was a ok show--highly overrated.
Kat25 03/01/2003
Possibly the worse show since *That Darva and Rick* fiasco. Are they saying that we women are that dumb and desparate? 'Hall of Shame' for this show
pigwiggle 02/28/2003
the STUPIDEST idea tv ever had. Its more degrading than the other "who wants to marry a ..." shows.
Andrew Gilmore 02/27/2003
This is a cruel, sick joke being perpetrated on an innocent group of women. It disturbs me that this ever got filmed. How low are we going to sink??
philc 02/27/2003
Why would Fox put on a show where the man has to lie to a bunch of girls and then at the end basically nobody even likes him that much. At least they gave Joe and Zora a million dollars to split at the end.
janet vandenhout 02/27/2003
like to find out what happens with them next
pooh 02/27/2003
Its ok but tha sista wuz kinda stupid
dfrost 02/26/2003
Like millions of other viewers I watched the program in hopes that there would be a happy ending. And I guess if you are a reciepent of half a million dollars that is a happy ending. But then you need to change the title of the show. I will never watch another one of these shows. We were duped for weeks thinking that Evan was choosing someone he would want to at least try to go to the next level with. Boy was that miss leading. Not only did we watch weeks of weeding out the girls to two and then finally picking the one that most everyone agreed was the best match for him. You kept hooking us. One more show where they are together. That show led everyone to believe that they were bound for the next level. Then the very next day Fox has interviews with both who say, no we aren't together and don't think we will be. I am so mad that your show presented them in the last show as going on to develop their relationship when all along you (Fox) and Evan and Zora knew there was no relationship. It was a waste of my time and I won't do it again. I am not alone in my thoughts. I work for a large corporation and my department all watched the program as a group. We are all very mad about the deception. Thus my rating of one star for the sheer deciet.
kuppie21 02/26/2003
I totally agree with Randi2000, Evan is such a hunk, I rarely say that about actors but he is fine, they need to make a "barbie" version of him.Mattel wake up he's definetly a"Evan" doll.I was surprised to see they got some money at the end that was nice. And I believe that Sarah gave Evan a b.j in the woods, if you saw good enough near the end of the show she asked her friend the one with the curly hair(can't remember her name) if it was a good idea to do that, like duh she was trying to do hand gestures behing the cameras and she had her socks in her hand and put it beside her mouth and saying to her friend if that was alright to do. Proof right there people. But Evan is such a hunk!!
Sharon3802 02/26/2003
Ho Hum! *Yawn* What else can I say?
Randi2000 02/25/2003
Joe Millionaire, (Evan Marriott) is the most gorgeous man I have ever laid my eyes on and most definitely the most gorgeous man in Hollywood ever. I love his sexy voice, his bod is magnificient and he is incredibly sweet. His smile is the hottest, sexiest - ever. It has been so frustrating watching Hollywood and men in media men because NO one is hot, well, except for maybe Dr. Phil. "Joe" is one hot MOFO. On a scale of 10 I'd give him about agodzillion.
mrs 02/25/2003
I for one thought the show was extremely entertaining and full of fantasy. Some of the girls were obvious diggers, but that is what it was all about people... I knew a love match would not last out of this union, afterall it's just a show. I must add though, that over the weeks I have come to find Evan sweetly goofy and somewhat too innocently naive, but that added, if not made him very attractive to me. I guess I have an attraction to the messy, wavy haired, rugged man look.....minus the cockiness!!! God he is sooooo friggin hot! How the heck do I contact him????? Anyone????? Tekee3137@aol.com
LINDZEE 02/21/2003
I THINK THAT JOE MILLIONAIRE LOOKS LIKE HE GOT BEAT SEVRAL TIMES WITH THE UGLY STICK...HE'S NO BRAD PITT. AND THE SLUTTY BLONDE GAVE HIM HEAD FOR HIS MONEY...CAN WE SAY THAT THE BOTH OF THEM ARE SHALLOW...AND GROSS!!!! WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST GET AN ESCORTING JOB?...AT LEAST THEN, SHE'S GUARANTEED THE MONEY LOL IEWW...HE IS HURTING AND I WOULDN'T TOUCH HIM WITH A 10 FOOT POLE!..ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER NORMAL FEMALES IN THIS WORLD!!!
JoeFan 02/19/2003
It thought there was something intreguingly fascinating about the show. America is undergoing a tense period of pre-war and this show lightened the moments with brainless entertainment that appealed to my sense of fantasy. It's entertainment folks-- that's it. That's what makes America such a beautiful country -- our freedom to choose what to do with our spare time.
CanadaSucks 02/18/2003
A nation of trapped boyfriends asks: "When will our girlfriends stop making us watch this sh@#?"
brownin 02/15/2003
If this guy Joe Millionaire isn't the "dummiest" looking dude I have seen then I have yet to see it all. Here we see this oversize guy, who barely seems able to speak properly let alone eat with a fork and a knife. And these women were actually fooled into thinking that he has "50 mill" come on the guy obviously is not use to using a napkin when eating.. he is soooo unpolished and those girls deserve every bit of him.
joe67 02/14/2003
I think that this is great, 20 women brought to france to win the heart of a multi-millionaire. They will get what they deserve!
kim2002 02/10/2003
frogger...hit the nail on the head....I could not have said it better..But might I add. a fool and his money are soon parted.
Frogger_AL 02/07/2003
Evan is a complete idiot. I have not heard one intelligent thought come out of his mouth the whole time this show has aired. He completely and utterly misinterprets everything that happens. I watch it just to see what amazingly stupid things he does/say. I do have to admit that figuring out if the women are after money or not is interesting, though this is a harsh way of accomplishing that.
Sassy4556 02/03/2003
I like the show. You really get to know the women, and how phoney they can be. Not to mention him. I think he's so cute, and i love that voice. I enjoy watching, because it's about time someone was tested to see if love really does prevail. But Evan is alittle disappointing not to see all the missing warning signs not to pick this one/that one. I can't wait for tonight's show.
JANICEJOE 02/01/2003
This is one of the greatest shows I've ever seen!!!
zuchinibut 01/31/2003
The golddiggers deserve what is coming to them.
tapnb 01/31/2003
He's a air head and the women are the worst kind of bimbo. I wish they'd get to read the comments here.
BIGBABY 01/31/2003
I think that we can all agree that this is pure garbage. TV is becoming wrorse and worse throughout the years. Decieving people for a absolute fake just for our entertainment is disgusting. Leave it up to Fox to make something terrible...
CrucifiedDeath 01/31/2003
This show has been rather boresome .. I've seen better. Personally, I think he just should have fuçked them all and been done with it. Plus, none of the girls were 'goth-like' -- unattractive.
Molfan 01/31/2003
Another crummy bad taste reality show. Lie to a whole group of woman and make them think they have a crack at a millionaire. only to find out that he is not a millionaire at all. I will be so glad when this reality show trend goes away for good.Who Cares!?
gmanod 01/30/2003
I've heard people say "America is a cultural wasteland," I hate it when we prove them right.
ClassicTVFan47 01/30/2003
Here's some more evidence for the decline of the majority of broadcast television. The show exists on the crux of a mean-spirited concept that really knows how NOT to show a role model: Lie to women, watch them fight over you, then get lucky. The guy says he feels guilty, and yet does the show! Also, the show has bad language, and scenes that, while visually obscured, do not hide the fact that relations are going on. And, besides, the guy doesn't look that good anyway. Thanks, FOX, for bringing TV down a notch YET again...
DeathRattle 01/30/2003
May I say that every single woman that is on this show (especially the winner) deserves everything they get from this show. In the end, the reason they are there is to be with a man that has a lot of money. that's the last thing I want in a woman. I don't care how interesting it is, by encouraging such behavior makes the show bad enough.
riley 01/30/2003
This show just went from terrible to great with the revelation that one of the "ladies" is a foot-fetish movie actress! It's perfect. Foot fetishism is one of the most prevalent underground sexual activities, and it's brought to light by one of the most base primetime reality shows. Only in America!
