Had problems with it crashing with earlier versions now worse than ever with 11.1 running with vista, I believe they rushed to get it out and thought they would fix the bugs later with patchs, its not worth the headaches, just too many bugs.

I too purchased a computer with more RAM thinking I could then
use Pinnacle Studio, but even after downloading the patches,
I still have nothing but trouble out of it. I haven't been able to contact the manufacture for help as they seem to have a "high call volume" every minute of everyday. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!!! Bite the bullet and get Adobe

They should call it "Crash Master."

Don't buy this product. I purchased a PC with more than adequate RAM, hard drive storage and basically every thing required to process video. Pinnacle is an easy program to learn and use, but it doesn't work. It locks up, loses video and audio clips and is very slooow. It's cheap, but don't waste your money.

Very good editing and audio. A disaster trying to write to DVD. If you want total frustration, lack of technical support, and a bug loaded piece of software try Studio 8. If you use it to create a MPEG-2 file to be burned with the likes of Nero 5.5, it works ok but transitions do not work nor do menus.

Talk about bugs .. this horribly conceived product must have been invented by sadists with nothing better to do than frustrate users with repeated crashes, random error messages and functions that simply refuse to work for no particular reason. Unless you want to spend hours of frustration, I suggest staying away from this product. Here's an idea -- if you LIKE to be frustrated, save yourself some money and watch a few Bulls games on TV.
