I haven't tried the product yet, but, I was wondering, if you have both an odor and perspiration problem, will it get rid of the odor as well? I used to have a really bad problem with wetness, but, recently, I've been having problems with odor.... will this product work for both, or should I just do what others say about putting it on at night and using regular deodorant in the morning? Thanks!

This is my first day with Certain dri and I'm already amazed. After YEARS of sweaty arm pits I have spent a day toatlly dry! I put it on last night and this morning I did my Kick boxing workout and didn't sweat at all! I'm sold! And...it was in the deoderant isle at walmart so it's not hard to find or expensive. I'm loving it!

Only used it for one day, but it has worked perfect so far. No wetness whatsoever. I tried every antipersperant out there...extra extra dry, maximum strength.....all bs compared to certain dri. I used to sweat through my clothes within the first few minutes of putting them on. Sweat would bead down my arm in the middle of class leaving liitle puddles on chairs...very embarrasing. I'm considering marrying my bottle of certain dri. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I am absolutely amazed with this product! For several years I fought with my excessive sweating. I spent hours looking through my clothes trying to figure out what I could wear that wouldn't show any sweat marks and buying clothes that would hide the "pit stains". I'd asked my Doctor about it several times and I was always told it was because I was such a nervous person. I didn't believe him and kept trying new things. As I was standing in the deoderant isle at Target one day I found this "Certain Dri" product sitting on the bottom shelf. I'd tried everything else possible and couldn't find any other new products to try so I figured it couldn't be any worse than anything else I'd ever tried. I got home, read the directions and used it that night before I went to bed. The next day I spent alot of time picking out my shirt so that the sweat marks wouldn't show, I got to work and found I kept going to the bathroom and checking my armpits to see how much I wasn't sweating! It was a huge stress lifted off my sholders! Its so simple and so WONDERFUL!

EXCELLENT!!!! This is an amazing product! I used to sweat so much that I was afraid to wear everything because I would sweat through it in five minutes. I was at the point of thinking of seeing a doctor because of it when I heard about Certain Dri. I got it at my local pharmacy and tried it that night. You have to believe me when I tell you that I didn't sweat for the next two days! It didn't burn or anything but I did follow the instructions to use it at night and not to apply too much (which I think is the trick because it is runny). I feel so good now...I dont have to sort through my clothes every morning thinking about what has a pattern that wont show the huge circles under my arms, which is particularly embarrassing for a woman. Now the weight of worry is completely off my shoulders! I never thought it could be that easy to fix such an annoying problem but it worked so great, I would recommend it to anyone! I have told everybody I could about it!

This stuff works great for me- I have been using it for a year and a half and my excessive sweating completely stopped after three days. I guess it doesn't work the same for everyone though. I get mine at CVS and I have also seen it online.

so. i got certain dri, because i have hyperhydrosis which makes me sweat SO BAD. it was workign GREAT. ABSOLUOTLY. i just used certain dri last night and it works perfect!!! i usually have really big sweat rings in my arm pits. on the first day of school i sweated sooo badly that it was down close to my waist. i suggest that you buy certain dri quick if you have my problem!!!!!!!!

I found Certain Dri on Ebay, Certain Dri is awesome! I am a tall skinny man that takes medication for ADHD (wow, I said that out load) before taking Adderall, I sweat heavy, after I started taking Adderall it got real bad. When I first found Certain Dri, I bought armpit shields and undershirts with protective shields sawn in. After the first couple of days after using Certain Dri, I lost the shields and the under shirts. I have been wearing under shirts for years to hide my sweating, no more, this stuff works. I didn't think anything would work so when I found Certain Dri on Ebay, it was going for $5.95 plus shipping, I thought so what do I have to lose $12? Big deal. WOW, it worked!! Since the first bottle I bought, I have found it even cheaper, one site had it for $5.95 free shipping. I'm not trying to sell anything, I really believe Certain Dri helped me a lot. You decide.

Certain Dri has worked wonders for me. When I wear tighter shirts I would always get pit stains within an hour or two. It was so embarassing at school. I would never lift my arms too much because of these embarassing sweat marks. Now I can go all day and be dry. I am so much more confident with myself. I love Certain Dri!

Certian Dri works GREAT!! I am 15 years old and ever since I was 12 I would get humongous sweat marks on my shirts when I was at school! It was so EMBERESSING!! The sweat would even go through my jackets and it was so emberessing because id come home from school and look in the mirror and have HUGE sweat marks and i'd be sooo emberessed. I'd have to always be careful about what I wore and I'd have to wear black a lot and jackets but it even went through them sometimes. Just a few months ago I saw certain dri on a discussion board so i decided to try it and it works GREAT! I haven't got a sweat mark since. :D

What a blessing Certain Dri has been to me! I have had a problem with underarm wetness for years and thought that there was nothing I could do about it. I had noticed this product on the shelf and decided against it only to be disappointed by other brands that did not work. I have been constantly embarrassed by this problem and now I can freely raise my arms and not worry about any disgusting wetness or oder. The product worked after the first try and I no longer worry about ruining clothes. I highly recommend Certain Dri. Five bucks is a small amount to pay for the great results.

I have not tried this product yet, but wanted to know if anyone who has can tell me if it leaves a white residue on clothes like most deodorants. I always end up with white marks on my tops (tanktops, jerseys, sweaters, especially dark colors) when I put them on. Thanks!

This really works. I wouldnt use anything else now. I never had any sweating issues, until I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I began taking a lot of medications, and Inoticed I was sweating more. I actually smelled WORSE with other products (deoderants) than with nothing. I began using this, and I felt fresh and clean, no sweating, or odor!! Bonus, it dosent clash with perfume, it is unscented. It does sting sometimes, well worth the freedom to move my arms without fear!

I have had a sweating problem for years. After trying nearly every thing I finally decided to give Certain Dri a try. I applied it the first night and the next day I could not tell a difference. I kept using it though and after about 4 nights all my sweating had stopped. It did not sting bad at all. I would definately recommend this product to others. I love it!

IT WORKS- --I sweat a lot even if I'm in an air-conditioned classroom, during school I would have big rings under my arms. I hated it.... I've only used Certain-Dri twice, and the first day after using it I went to a mall ( one where all the stores are cramped and they have the heat turned up even if it's not cold outside.) I was really hot for about 6 hours in the mall. (Or longer, Im addicted to shopping) I was wearing a long sleeve shirt with a sleeveless shirt over it. After I was finished at the mall, I checked both shirts and there was only a barely noticeable small spot on my long-sleeved shirt at the armpit. I didnt even see it at first. That was only the first day so I didn't really expect anything at all yet. It's helped so much already that even if it only works as good as it is now, I'll continue buying it for a long time. I experienced no burning sensation, no itching, no rash (in fact my skin felt a little smoother for some reason) I followed all the directions carefully. I applied it before I went to sleep at night, and I shower/shave in the morning. You should still use your regular deodorant for awhile , at least until youre sure CD is working for you. I would Definitely Recommend this to anyone who wants to stop their excessive sweating . (and the price is great)

Certain Dri works great! Helpful hints: - Don't put it on right after you shave!!! - If you get a rash, don't apply it for a day or two - Less is more in terms of application - Don't put it anywhere but the actual armpit (where the hair grows). It's not like regular deodorant and it will burn the sensitive skin on the back underside of your arm. - I still use Secret in the morning but just out of habit and because it feels good

I was really excited when I bought this, but I was skeptical. I have tried many anti-perspirants before, but I had high expectations for this one after seeing all the good reviews. For two weeks I felt nothing when I applied it (even though I put it on every night), and it worked about 50%. But I stuck to it and now, 3 weeks later, I feel a little burning when I put it on (nothing I cant handle) and it works wonderfully. I put it on every few days to give my skin some time to recover, and I have no rash yet... I used to have to start wearing my sweatshirt or sweater after about 2 hours to hide the sweat marks, but now I can go days with no problems. I recommend using a gentle deodorant in the morning, such as Dove. This product is amazing, and if it doesn't work right away, please stick to it!

hi, i just tried this product tonight for the first time. im just wondering how you know how much to put on, i didn't want it to sting so i just rolled it one time but what do you guys do? and how do you know how often to apply it? like once a day, once a week?

I just moved to a hot country, and I sweated like a beast until a friend over here had her visiting cousin bring over Certain Dri from the States - hooray! It's amazing! I have some thoughts for the people who experience stinging and redness: use much, much less when you apply it, and skip maybe two days a week. You really only need to swipe it once over the surface of your armpit, not rub back and forth like you might with regular deoderant. Using less made a big difference for me with the stinging. Also, skipping now and then gives your skin a chance to recover, and I found that I still sweated less than usual even on days that I skipped.

Like other reviews I've read, I also have/had an excessive perspiration issue. It was to the point that I would put tissue under my arms to try and catch it before I had the embarrassing sweat marks. My younger sister told me about Certain Dri and that she had just started using it and noticed a difference within the first day! I went out the next day and luckily grabbed the last box off the CVS shelf. I have noticed a little stinging and itchiness on occassion, but it will not stop me from continuing to use this wonderful product. I can finally wear shirts that actually fit close my skin and not worry about raising my arms anymore!

I am 13 years old and this is the first day I tried certain dri and it worked great, I didn't sweat at all and usually I sweat a lot!! Usually I would just be sitting down in a classroom and I would sweat like crazy, I wouldn't even be hot. It was horrible. I would always keep my sweatshirt on bbecasue I didn't want anyone to see my sweat. At the dances I didn't want to dance with any boys because I was soo embarresed. Im a 27 year old who has been excessive sweating. Oddly enough I only sweat under one arm... don't ask me why. I got sick of constantly having a wet underarm, even when I was not doing anything. In addition, my traditional anti-perspirants and or sweat were staining my shirts. I began to avoid white shirts like the plauge. In addition, any thin fabrics I'd never wear. I was constantly having to wear an undershirt under any dress shirts... I'd even try my underarm with the hairdryer at mcdonalds restaurants before i went to client meetings! Anyway, long story short. I made an appointment with a dermatologist, then started doing research on the net. I came across certain dri and decided to give it a try. It worked for me right away! My dermatologist perscribed drysol, but so far I have not needed it since the certain dri is doing the trick for me very well.

Hey all I was surprised to see so many people on here! My mother always said exccessive sweating was part of being a teenager...of course I think being able to wear something other than baggy tshirts is the main part...and now i can do that! I'm really stingy, but i'm glad i spent the five dollars. Part of my armpit is red now, like a rash but not really...i'm really hoping it's not because I don't wanna stop using this stuff!

Hi this is an excellent product. Wanted to answer some of the questions ppl were asking. apply it at night just b4 bed, use talc b4 and after to prevent/help with the stinging itching etc. Wash off in the morning and use normal deo. Its a miracle product to stop sweating, it can be purchased over the counter in most pharmacies and on the net worldwide. TRY IT! :O)

I'm a 15 year old girl who had a sweating problem for most of my life. I was always a heavy sweater and took after my father because of that. I had so many nice shirts that I just couldn't wear anymore because my underarm sweat was just getting worse and worse. It got so bad that all I was able to wear was black shirts. I tried so many different deodorants and some even made me break out which made me a little cautious about trying certain dri after seeing a commerical for it. I usually used dove deodorant but it wasn't doing anything about my sweating problem. I only used it because of my extremely sensative skin. Yesterday I went to the dermotologist to get acne medication and while I was there I asked him if there was anything I could try to use that will solve my problem of sweating so much. He said I should try certain dri and gave me a lot of samples. Last night was my first time trying it. It burned and itched for about 15 minutes and I noticed I had some redness which worried me since I did once get an allegic reaction to a deodorant. When I woke up in the morning, however, the redness was gone. I just applied dove deodorant for the odor. So far i'm not sweating! I am wearing a light blue guess shirt that I could never wear! I am so happy with this product and I hope it doesn't irritate my skin though! I can have a normal teenage life now and can wear so many more shirts that I could never wear before!

Like everyone before me said, this is really a miracle product! I used to have to wear dark colors in the summertime so you couldn't see my sweat stains, and in the winter I would even sweat through heavy sweaters! Most of my clothes were ruined because of this problem. I saw a commercial for Certain Dri on TV and finally decided to try it. I was completely amazed! Like you I have experienced the embarrassment and humiliation of having excessively sweaty armpits. I've always had to be very conscious of what color shirts I can buy and wear. I've ruined countless shirts with sweat and deoderant stains in the armpit area. I was doing some reading on the internet about treatments for this condition and was considering approaching my doctor about a prescription deoderant. Then I saw that beautiful little box of Certain Dri on the shelf at Safeway. I pessimistically decided to give it a shot, it was only $5 and I figured worth the long shot (besides, i'd been into experimenting with different deoderants, trying to find one that actually did what it advertised and worked as an antiperspirant!). I experienced magnificent results after the first application! I have been using Certain Dri for a couple of months and am experiencing a new found freedom in being able to wear whatever kind of top I want! I was worried about it irritating my sensitive skin, but so far no problem! I haven't had to use it every night, I try to do it about every other. I have nothing but positive things to say about this product! You have got to try it - it could be the miracle cure for your perspiration woes too! If it doesn't work, see your doctor for other reccomendations (prescription deoderant, surgery, botox, etc). I have been experiencing excessive underarm sweating for a number of months and tried a number of different deodorants which all did not work. In desperation I wrote to the Hyperhydrosis Center to inquire about surgery. They recommended Certain Dri and I decided to try it. I have been using it now for about three days and I have seen considerable results. I am so much more confident and can wear any fabric or color I choose. Thanks you soooooo much.

i've heard alot of good things about it but i am worried that if i use it will there later on be a bad side effect because of the aluminum chloride? i bought it but am a little timid 2 use it...nd if i use it at night can i shave in the morning?

I use to sweat very heavily, and I tried almost every deodorant that you could think of, and none of them worked. But every since I've been using Certain Dri, my perspiration is down to a minimal. This product was the answer to my prayers. Amen!

This product is great! No I mean it's wonderful! It's everything great! I'm 16 and I'm soooooo happy that I found this product. I was in the deodarant section of CVS (it's also at Walgreens) and the product caught my eye. I was at my wits end drying to find an anti-perspirant that worked, so I decided to try Certain Dri. Well it worked the first time I used it! I can now where T-shirts without wearing about arm pit stains! It's the best product out there!

Well, I've had a problem with over sweating (under my arms) for a few years now, I've gone from deoderant to deoderant, never being able to find something that worked. It's really embarassing, cause I'm always VERY self conscious about it (I dont' raise my arms etc..). In the past couple of days I've heard of this product, so I went to buy today, tonight will be my first night using it (wish me luck). This stuff rocks!! Every day I'd be sweating before I even got out the door and by the end of the day my armpits were awful. No regular deodorant worked - not even the ones with baking soda. Certain Dri worked the first time, every time and now I'm a new person. It is so amazing and it's only $5!!

Awesome product!!!!A+++++++++++ I am 37 yrs. old, and I have been trying to hide sweat underneath my armpits since puberty! I couldn't wear tight, cute shirts in a certain material and color, and everything had to fit loosely! Now, to my surprise, I can wear any shirts I choose to wear, and NO SWEAT! I love this stuff. I have been using this for about a week and a half and no more wetness!!!!I have always worn bulky sweaters and dark shirts to hide the sweat. I even have to stuff tissues under my arms all day to prevent wetting through my shirts.I still check my armpits all day and amazingly they are dry. I use it every other night and sometimes every 3 nights. It is itchy for about 5 min. but the longer I use it the better it feels. I also recommend using Dove baby powder deodorant the next morning as it is soothing. I cannot believe it really works. It is worth every penny!!THANK-YOU

This is a hard one to rate, because it really works and does what it says however with the side effect I am having I don't know if it is worth it. It has indeed closed my pores under my arms and no more wetness. However about 2 days after I began using it I had a bump appear behind my ear lobe. I thought it was a pimple as I have alittle problems with that, however it got very sore but would not pop. Well that was 4 weeks ago, I know have about 9 bumps between my ears, ear lobes, face, neck, and forehead. They are not pimples and a clear liquid may ooze out if hammered enough. I' would think this is the water that use to come from under my arms. Doesn't it have to go somewhere? Anyway I am so disappointed, I haven't stopped using the stuff (CD) but I have to because ever couple of days I have a new bump or two.

This stuff is great! You have to really follow the directions, and keep a close eye on your skin to make sure that you're not causing irritation by using this product too frequently, but other than that, it's wonderful! It's also a nice alternative when normal deoderant/anti-perspirant isn't strong enough, but Drysol is too strong.

Hi everyone. This product does work great! It is amazing. I do highly recommend it to anyone who sweats alot under their arms like me. But there is one problem..........for me anyways. It stings and itches alot when I put it on. Is that normal anyone? I like the product, but I stopped using it because it itches, stings and burns. My under arms were burnt from it. It went a way in a couple of months though. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Am I using it wrong? I am still sweating like a dog. Help me somebody!!!!

I am 19 and I sweat all the time. I heard about Certain Dri on TV and thought it was to good to be true. I was actually thinking about the surgery. I got it and within just a few days I could tell and difference I dont have a problem anymore with wearing different shirts. I love it!
