This area is Composed of East Lakeview, Wrigleyville and West Lakeview. East is on par with Lincoln Park for niceness, but is laking the same level of cultural things. Wrigleyville is great if your a Cubs fan, but does border the pretty dangerous area of Uptown. West Lakeview is worthy of 3 stars, but overall 4 for the entire community area.

Lakeview is an amazing neighborhood to live in. There are a lot of people who live in the neighborhood, but it never really seems that congested. There are a lot of small and large shops, and the area is generally calm and peaceful.

I love this area in chicago. It's fairly close to the lake as the name suggests and is vibrant and bustling with activity all the time. Has many lovely neighbourhoods.

Lakeview is one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago - diverse, exciting, with everything from Wrigley Field to some of the best restaurants in the city, and easy access to Lincoln Park and downtown. The only downside is that parking is becoming totally impossible in the area. And, to be fair to the previous comment, the Manhole bar closed last year, replaced by the more generic Hydrate.

Yuck. If a neighborhood has a bar named "the Manhole", it should get LESS than a star.
