It depends how it's cooked. I'm not a big fan of most of it, but baked butternut squash with a lot of butter and brown sugar is excellent.

My Mom makes delicious squash,and Thanksgiving is about the only time we have it.

Sometimes we would substitute squash for the sweet potatoes. Treat the same. Lots of brown sugar and butter!

Oh, this was always a favorite. It is all about the seasoning. I agree with Beloved. Well-prepared squash never becomes Thanksgiving left-overs. People will fight over it.

I dont know about you guys but I make squash that is so good that it rivals the mash potatoes.

A staple with the pilgrims, but not at most Thanksgiving meals I've been to. Many find this dish a little bland, though a good cook helps.
