I have bought my last prescription at CVS. Nothing but problems. Wrong drug, out of drugs, partial fills, rude, slow and impersonable employees. I have stood in long lines watching a number of employees mill about behind the pharmacy counter having personal conversations while one person waits on customers (usually at a snails pace). I used the telephone refill service only to go there and find the prescrition was not filled. I dropped a prescription off to be filled and could not get back to the store for 6 days and they restocked my drugs and I had to come back again later. And to all of this there is a complete lack of concern by those in charge, all I get is a textbook apology. I can't believe I remained a customer there for as long as I did.

Out of necessity, I sometimes have to go to this pit because the wife feels ill (being married to me might accelerate the process) and I always notice two things: (1) the place is run by underpaid zombies who know nothing and (2) the shoppers are slow and dumb and prevent you from escaping the place in under 15-20 minutes. . .it's like time slows down in CVS. . .

I absolutly loath CVS the one in my area is terrrible. The staff in the pharmacy department are grossly incompetent and have no people skills what-so-ever! They will tell you that they are out of a certain drug only to have you call and get your doctor to call in a change the script so they can tell him "oops we just couldnt find it earier". This is only one of many horror stories i can tell about CVS, once the phamacist on staff asjed me what my perscription number was for a certain drug i was requesting and i told her i didnt know it off hand but it was in their system because i had, had it filled with them previously. She snorted back "well my telephone number is in the phone book!" at this point i asked to speak to the manager, but it was futile the same woman still treats me this way whenever i encounter her in the store. Also i find that in my location the shelves are constantly barren and on at least 2 occasions i have purchased make-up that was past its expiration date.

I fear all these positive comments must have been left by employees of CVS...oh, wait a minute...probably not, because that would actually require WORK. Maybe it is just the CVS stores in the DC-Metro area, but I have NEVER had so many issues with one store. I actually dread going in there. Besides the obvious nusiance of items being marked as on sale when they are not (they are not so good to change the "CVS Bonus card special tags), the pharamcy actually LOST my perscription requiring me to have to go through the hassle of contacting my doctor to get another one. That is just one of the many, many examples I can give! Its to the point I actually DREAD getting my perscriptions filled.

I remember when they were "Consumer Value Store." They were not yet a drug store, just a cheesy dollar store with lots of cheap imported goods. I still feel that way when I go in there (in a pinch only).

I like CVS... although some times they are a little pricey, even for a pharmacy/store. I like that it is easy to get in and out when your purchasing little items like shampoo ar soap, etc. You don't have to wait in long lines to get what you need...one problem we have with the CVS where I live is that their pharmacy drive through is hardly ever open, whats the use of having it when it is never opened. We have 2 CVS where we live and they both are the same way with their drive through. I didn't want to leave a comment about how long it takes for prescriptions to get ready because the 2 we have in our area is both different one of them is super fast on filling prescriptions and the other store is super slow, so it varies upon stores i guess. Another thing I like about CVS they have certain medications that you can't find hardly anywhere else but CVS. I have found they have a wonderful product called ulcer ease, which is about 8 dollars a bottle works very well on mouth ulcers and any kind of pain in your mouth. I love this produst it is easy to use you just gargle it in your mouth and spit it out and it nums your mouth gently, without the mess of oragel which makes you have to spit every 5 minutes and then quits working after 30 minutes. Ulcer ease really works and I haven't found anything like it any where except CVS, so CVS has some wonderful medications that is hard to find other places.

Good store and the people are frienldly. Just a great alternative to Walgreens, but it absolutely has to establish more stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin and west of the Mississippi River. They are very extremely difficult to find in those places.

I trust that CVS always have lower prices than their competitors. Plus I love the CVS Rewards they give back to customers.
