Absolutely the BEST animated show in the world, its unfair and unjust that Nick canceled it. It was of the funniest things I had ever seen before. It had great characters(especially Gir), and an awesome look to it. On a scale of 1-10 I give IZ a 12.

I would like to say one thing about this show and that the animation style has no peers. This is truly an artistic piece of work that I hope will not be cheapened like Johnny Bravo was. Johnny Bravo the earlier one's was very well drawn and it seemed to have lost it's style. Don't know why that was. I am an adult but my love of cartoons will never die.

Some people at first view this show to be a bit too weird, creepy, or unusual. Which is all true. Only this adds to the unique-ness of the show Invader Zim. If you have hardly watched this show, then consider it, for you may be surprised. A deeper plot than most cartoons, with a more adult humor as you can tell. Each character has it's own quirky personality that you may relate to or understand. With a million laughs, action, and great plot all in one, Invader Zim is a show you would regret to not see.

Invader Zim is comedic genius. It has affected the vocabularies and sense of humour of my friends and I since we started watching. The fact that it has been cancelled broke our hearts. We have mostly all of the episodes and watch them over and over again, enjoying them equally each time. Good comedy never gets tiring. I'm deconstructing it for an assignment for school and learning so much about it. Jhonen Vasquez is to be commended on his ability to amuse children and young adults in a new, unique way. A step up from the Simpson's.

Boring Nickelodeon addition had little or no interest in either entertaining or engaging children. It's almost a bit scary the premise...except the scares aren't scary. And the humor isn't humorous. And the romance isn't romantic.

I have enjoyed this show from the first time i saw it, which was only less then a year ago. I loved it so much, i began to go onto fan sites and decorate my room with thousands over thousands of Zim screenshots. Then I found out about Jhonen Vasquez, and the other things he does. I bought the JTHM Director's Cut, read it, cherished it, and thought even better of this genius. Some say that Zim is "White trash" but whoever they are, pardon my French, they are ignorant bastards. Okeey, I am done...

It's almost hard to believe how great this show is. Yet, what less can you expect from Jhonen Vasquez? Heh, anyway, back to my "comments". This is the funniest show I've ever seen. Just, the way everything is presented and the way it all fits together... it's just perfect. Yes, I admit, this show might not be for everyone. Some people may not like the dark humor it has in it. But, that explains why everyone who has rated this show has either said Great or Terrible. Because if you like it, you LOVE it. What I really hate is how people pass it up for another normal kiddy show when they see it on Nickelodeon. As much as many people over the age of 12 try to avoid watching Nickelodeon, I just want to sa that despite that, this show is worth watching. It's way superoir to many other animated shows out there, in its humor and controversy, and more! It really is such a great show! I could go on and on abou IZ, but I'm tired of typing. So now, let's all go watch Invader Zim! Yay! It's on on Sunday at 4:30, by the way. Be sure to watch it! :)

Oh boy...Invader Zim. What do you say about Invader Zin? This cartoon seems in many ways to be a science fiction novel shamelessly posing as typical "Nicktoon" entertainment. It's controversial (yes it's a cartoon AND it's controversial) in the way that it defies the idea of good guys and bad guys, it defies the idea of happy endings, and it talks about an alien who wants to blow up the world in the view less that he's an evil villian than that he's trying to figure out half the time just how the heck the people on this planet have managed to survive this long in the first place. You don't look at Zim as a pure evil destroyer of worlds even though (retrospectively) that's precisely what he is; just as you don't look at Dib exactly as earth's soul hope for survival even though he really actually is. This is because Dib and Zim are far from examples of the ideal reprosentatives for "good" and "evil". Zim's so crazy he's funny without meaning (nor wanting) to be, and Dib is a kid equally crazy who obsesses over the paranormal (luckily, considering he's the only one aparently smart enough to tell Zim's actually an extra-terrestrial bent on world domination; after all, who would have guessed that the kid in the back of class with green-tinted skin and no ears who's always laughing meniaclly at the most inappropriate times could possibly be an alien?). While you really don't want Zim to blow up good ol' earth you really don't want to see him picked apart by scientists either, which is exactly Dib's goal. This cartoon really challenges the other, less almost morbid and less weird cartoons with it's story lines, it's characters and it's vivid animation that looks like something out of a Japanese comic book. And I must say, it's about time.
