 | Teaseress (15) 01/06/2003 | I went to go and see this in London's West End when I was 12 with my school and I absolutely loved it! The show is so full of colour and all the dancers are all on rollerskates so you have them whizzing around the stage whilst singing. The characters (from what I remember, this was nearly 10 years ago) were extremely likable and were meant to be different types of train. It was definately a lot of fun at the time.

After Starlight Express debuted strong in London, the show came to America and opened to bad reviews. It closed within 2 years, and was not heard from again in NY. However, Starlight Express is one of Webber's greatest works. Myself, of which I haven't seen it, have seen enough pictures, and heard the music far enough for me to decide how great this show was.
