I didn't know Alaska had so many gold-digging whores. I'll have to check some travel sites to confirm this pheonomenon.

Please. Whoever gave the go-ahead to air this s**t should just be euthanized now...

Same old silly stuff from reality world - degrading, demeaning, simple-minded perhaps even borderline retarded...yep, that pretty much sums this up. I pity people who think this is entertainment. But don't worry about that - I'll bet the oportunistic network execs really love ya!

I live in Alaska-----not exactally a thing to watch. It makes us look like we are that desperate! GROSE!

I think this show is soooo fun to watch! It's better than any soap opera or any other reality show! I don't see why people think it's degrading, demeaning, or unclassy. I mean it's so real life, with everyone picking the wrong guy!

The show is good for mindless amusement but it still shocks me that people would look for love or mariage on a tv show. How can people expect to fall in love in such a short time?

This show really isn't all that bad! I must say, and I think most women will agree, that BIA is MUCH classier than 'The Bachelor'. At least in BIA the women hold the cards instead of throwing themselves on a single man to gain his favor.
DeathRattle 06/11/2002
What a great idea. A show where we can see what some women will do to have the "so called" easy life. That's already a sign of low class and unattractive. I hope the guy(s) that appear on the show don't actually expect to have a REAL "love" with any of these girls. Like the Beatles say, they're all "Day Trippers" wanting a "Ticket to Ride." Get this slime off my tube NOW!

Too many people on this board are hypocrites. They denounce "reality tv" yet they'll daily sit through sixty mind-numbing minutes a day of Oprah and what Oprah thinks. Or they'll watch hours of soap operas and think that's somehow classier than "BIA". What about sports? How is watching a bunch of overpaid, ill-mannered, tall guys throwing a ball around somehow more meaningful than having a laugh at people in real-life situations? I love "BIA" and made sure I was home this past Sunday to watch it. It's fun entertainment, that's all. Get off your high horse and quit acting like your viewing habits are holier-than-thou.

This whole reality show craze is becoming so archaic. This show is just another example of that. These "so-called" reality marriage and dating shows are the worst. When will it stop?

it still plagues me as to why people watch the so-called reality TV. Guess their lives are just THAT plain. This show, is as stupid as the rest. Hopefully, all of the bachelorettes will get frost bitten, have to move back home, w/o arms our legs, to take a good look at themselves and wonder what happened to their lives.

This was a wonderful and fun show, can't wait for the next episodes. One thing they should do is to give the information on the men that the women on the show don't pick, the rest of us are also looking and would be interested in getting to know men like were on the first show.
