Bring Carol back as morning anchor.It just isn't the same without her.

She was not my cup of tea and its a good thing that CNN ended her career of flippant anti-intellectualism. She was a very attractive woman who sometimes lacked the judgment, timing, self-control, maturity, personal finesse and intellect of all the other anchors on national television. She chose to act like a stereotypical bimbo instead of being the journalist she was capable of and, no, I will not miss her incessant giggling or her daily dumb act with Chad. The lesson to be learned here is acting intelligently gets you much farther in life then acting stupid and there is no better example of this then observing what happened to Carol Costello.

CNN finally raised their standards and she was demoted. Considering her lack of professionalism it shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone. Now she is not on as much and hopefully she will disappear completely.

I miss Carol Costello in the mornings. I did not see her this morning either. I might not be watching CNN AM any longer without her being on. You are missing the boat moving her, really you are. Gayle

Carol Costello is excellent. She is up to date, funny and professional. She is an excellent "balance" to Soledad who interrupts everyone and has an opinion on everything even if it isn't her area to cover. I would vote for Carol to REPLACE Soledad

Carol Costello provided me with a great start to my day! She is very down to earth - came across as not only confident but appeared to enjoy what she did. Carol's presentation was refreshing as she appeared involved in what she said. She was not the stoic/reserved/stuffy type...which wake-up time I didn't need to hear - hear that all the rest of the day. She & Chad were a great team - brought across a friendly atmosphere - with good comments/open reaction to things. Obviously some feel this was "unprofessional" - I, in fact, feel she is refreshing! I miss her - and certainly hope she is not buried somewhere with token spots.

Glib, superficial, abrasive, self-absorbed, and annoying. She is the kind of person I go out of my way to avoid.

While CNN is NOT my choice for news, I think Carol does a great job. I have enjoyed her reporting since her days in Columbus Ohio as an anchor. Nice to see her doing well.

I think Carol is very refreshing and in touch with America. I can't understand why CNN didn't see this from the word go. She has alot of insite and charm,which is a very good combo. She's very attractive in my book. Hope to see her on CNN for a very long time to come.

Carol and Chad in the morning was always a pleasant start to any morning. Please think about getting that team back together again. I just can't express how much I miss them as a team. Let's send Soledad and Miles back where they came from.

Every morning in Toronto I love waking up to Carol Costello..cannot understand her being demoted to news reader. She has an outstanding personality and comes across extremely well and we hope she is there forever.Carry on Carol. We love you!

I love Carol's cute personality. She's not always well-dressed, however. I wish she would wear more navy blue outfits.

Often times unprofessional. And giggles at her own jokes while others are left to pick up the akward moment and carry on.

Carol by herself is doing her job of anchor very well. But when in the company of Soledad O'Brien she acts silly. One day these two super hyper personalities will clash to defend their turf, hoping to be the "leading lady". Carol seems to have a short fuse and Soledad is vain, too preocupied with herself. Pretty woman 5 stars for that...awfully dressed (1 star for that)...lacks of flexibility (3 starts) to jump on their own into certain topics...good driver of the resources (4 for that)...I watch her in the mornings...I believe has the potential but needs some changes and better support.

CNN just cancelled her show and demoted her to a newsreader. Thank God we wont ever have to listen to any more of her juvenile giggling.

Carol Costello often lacks professionalism.

It is great to watch a woman news anchor at CNN who seems like a real and authentic person who can talk in real life terms. Carol's ability to keep her personal politics out of her reporting is so refreshing! She is my news anchor of choice.

Certainly in the "Older & Still Hot" Category. I remember her when she worked at WSYX-TV in Columbus OH, and she was drop dead gorgeous then as she is now. Made you want to watch the news.

Beautifull and smart

The bimbo of morning news, Carol Costello lowers the ratings of an otherwise great network by spending her airtime acting stupid and thinking that it's funny.

Over the past year, 30 of Carols last 50 five star ratings have been made by reviewers that only rated her. Gosh, could someone be padding her numbers?

She's pretty, intelligent and friendly - and this morning we got to see her from knees up - definately nice to look at and less annoying than any other jornalist I've seen in New Orleans.

I never thought I would give up the Today show. I have watched it since I stopped watching cartoons. Carol is the only reason I have made the move and I look forward to seeing her move up the ladder!

CAROL COSTELLO is AWESOME!!! It is so refreshing to have a REAL person presenting the news. Soledad has become unanimated and unfeeling, it is like watching a robot. I hope Carol never goes through The Change. An occasional smile and some humor is still acceptable during the news. It shows Carol is human, not a network created puppet.

Carol Costello has the potential for becoming an excellent anchor. Learning to slow down in speech and diction so that viewers can understand her as well as reporters in the field is a start in the right direction. Taking a quick short breath in-between sentences is helpful instead of running sentences together. Keeping her hair out of her eyes would enhance her credibility. Wearing jewelry and necklaces that will NOT get caught up in her hair would show some seriousness in the field of journalism will improve her credibility issues. If Mr. Klein is hinting at taking CNN in a more serious hard news network, Carol needs to professionalize her wardrobe while she in on camera, on air. Afterwards she can chage into whatever she chooses at her workstation at the New York broadcast center. Carol needs to get out there and do some segments away from the comfort of the studio and brush off some of that rust that is beginning to develop. All anchors need to do some in the field stories to enable them to stay fresh and make them better journalists. Mr. Klein needs to allow Carol to go overseas and/or search for stories for CNNUS to give her opportunities to expand her horizons in the quest for excellence in journalism. Talking to screens in a stuffy and lifeless studio set will never get the awards and recognition that those who get away from the daily grind of reading teleprompters and scripts to tell stories will achieve. Maybe Carol is not in her element, and maybe she should consider something along the lines of an entertainment reporter to cover the Emmys, Oscars, and other related reporting to be more compatible with her personality. Carol, please put in a request to do a story which will allow you to get out there and show your stuff and what you are REALLY capable of. I am sure that the networks headsheds would let you get out of that stuck-in-a-rut Daytime environment occasionally to do some substance material. Thank you.

I don't like her!!

Carol presents the news in a casual and light manner. She puts the audience at ease and her bantering about with her co-workers, Chad Myers and whoever, takes some of the sting out of the depressing news events.

Carol is my favorite on morning tv. She is more than a pretty face and a pleasing voice. She is witty, with a better sense of humor than anyone else on the morning show. I also enjoy the chemistry between Carol and Chad. She is the best thing in the morning.

I love Carol. She's fun, witty and doesn't trip over her words like some newscasters.I look forward to seeing her in the mornings. Carol and Chad make an awesome team. If you're smart, you'll hang on to them.
