Have owned an 11-87 for past 4 seasons and it jammed when I first bought it. Problem solved. Now it has snapped off pieces on the piston, not once but twice. I have enjoyed the shooting aspects of this gun but have changed to a Winchester Super X2.

I am dissapointed with my 11-87. The reason is simple, it has jammed many times using 2 3/4. It even came with an adaptor to put on the gas chamber and still jams. The first time I fired it the ejector spring cale out. I should have bought a Winchester.

I just bought a 11-87 this past winter and it out preformed any other semi auto. It has a great look and solid design. i shoot a lot of skeet and sporting clays and ive never had any problems. i just took my first turkey with it and there were no problems with the 3 inch mags. it can handle anything from light target loads one day and 3 inch mags in driving rain the next. Ive had a lot of fun with this gun and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants a dependable all around gun that can do just about anything.

The Remington 11-87 is probably the best autoloading shotgun on the market today. Before you buy any other brand or model, ask the question, "What's the receiver made of?" The Remingtons are ALL made of STEEL. Other companies use Aluminum. When your aluminum received shotgun has the finish start to peel and flake with age, you will be glad you bought the Rem. 11-87.

I have woned and used both the Browning Auto 5, and the Remington 11-87. For my money the 11-87 is an excellent choice. It is a good looking gun, and it has never failed me. I use this gun for Rabbit, Pheasant, Deer (with cantilever barrel and red dot sight), and target practice. Great in every application.

What a outstanding firearm the 11-87 is, the craftmanship is second to none. I purchased mine in 1987 when it first came out. and I still love lobbing 12Ga slugs through this one. I'm not really a big shotgun fan but I am glad I bought this one. Not a single of even slight problem even with all the ammo I put through this one The 11-87 is a Winner.
