Used it in action, never failed. Use it at the range and it delivers unstoppable performance. Best buy in its class hands down!

Not the most pretty, or the best feeling, but always does the job in a workman-like manner.

I like the location of the thumb safety (on the tang) and the slide release (behind the trigger guard) so you don't have to change grip to manipulate them. I will put ghost rings on it, eventually. I wish that they made the 590 with a bigger selection of interchangeable barrels and it would definitely be my #1 choice.

Excellent for low-cost, low-end firearm. Much lighter weight than the Remington or Winchester counterparts, but I found that the bolt assembly tends to score the receiver after very little use. Makes a good start scattergun, but I don't think I want to rely on it in the field.
