A good magazine, with lots of interesting articles, lists, and reviews. Their biggest strength is drawing attention to overlooked figures and bands of the past.

Probably the best music mag out there for the more discerning listener i.e. one who's tastes go beyond Blink 182 and crap metal bands. Has some interesting coverage of great past bands and players who are certainly more interesting and worthy of discussion than 99% of the dross that passes itself as rock these days.

One of the best magazines ever to see my bathroom! Read it once and you'll never say "rolling stone" again...unless you're talking about the band...or the dylan song...or the muddy waters song.
