When I was a college athlete I had a bad head and back injury. Throughout the subsequent years I have had some physical therapy and periodic chiropractic sessions with other doctors to manage the injury. In general this was little cohesive treatment with an eye toward long term movement, and the general attitude was that surgery was an option and in the meantime I could just keep coming back for more sessions. I was tired of feeling dependent on a chiropractor when my back went into a spasm, absolutely did not want surgery, and felt that I just needed to find a way to strengthen what had become weak inside. After a short treatment plan with Dr. Devine, I have learned exercises to strengthen specific core muscle groups, learned how to work through the 'good pain' vs. 'bad pain' syndrome (i.e. soreness from working specific muscles vs. pain that is your body yelling 'stop!'), and I feel for the first time in twenty years that I no longer have to be 'crippled' periodically by this injury

I've been seeing Dr Devine for over 6 years now and he is absolutely the best! As an active triathlete "Jim" not only helps me maintain my flexibility he is MAGIC when it comes to adjusting my occasional acute sports injury's. I never miss a day of working out! He is also a wealth of information for the latest in nutritional data and offers sound advice to help me meet my demanding (and picky) physiological needs. I wouldn't trust anyone else, he is simply the best!

Dr. Devine has been a major player in fostering overall wellness in my life. He has always been there on a moment's notice during times of acute pain or injury and that says alot since i've been seeing him for a decade. When I was a starving student and could not afford treatments, he worked out a plan for me that made it affordable so that I could continue seeing him. Dr. Devine is not just about getting you in and getting you out. He is really invested in the ongoing improvment and care of his patients. Without Dr. Devine I would have suffered from chronic pain resulting in a much lower quality of life over the years. I have referred many patients to him and even the skeptics have come back happy. Thank you, Dr. Devine! What would I do without you!?!?!?!" - Dr. Lauren Mollot
