Progressive may not be the cheapest but they are the best! I had good coverage, had a wreck and just had to drop my car off at they're repair facility. A rental car was waiting for me and they called me when my car was ready it was hassle free. Also, they wont drop you because you have had an accident like State Farm! Web site is great too!

Progressive Auto Insurance should be checked by the FBI to make sure they aren't a total scam company. I was hit by a woman with Progressive, and during the arduous process, I was told once by Progressive that I was being held liable, and once that the claim I made against them was denied. In the denial letter, the agent stated You were more than 50 percent at fault, and therefore we cannot honor your claim. More than 50% at fault? This lady ran a red light and hit the back quarter panel on the passengers side. Do they not understand how physics work? Well, my AIG agent called the woman who hit me and she said I went through a green light and when my agent asked her why she didn't slow down or swerve to avoid the accident, she said I didn't even notice him there until I was already in the intersection. This is the worst thing I've ever seen and am appalled that a company this large can allow such horrible mistakes. Fight for your money, they're thieves!

I had the best experience w/ Progressive Insurance - I was hit by someone that was insured w/ Progressive, the jerk would not return the reps calls or letters. They gave their insd fair opportunity to dispute my statement then found there own insured at fault, they evaluated the claim very fairly and quickly. I will continue to recommend Progressive Insurance to everyone!

there'a not enough hours in the day to tell you how much I F* HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE. Uncaring, rude, no support, better get a second job if you think they'll help you (both parties) after an accident. They assume you walk. Leave them asap! they will NOT help you. They will NOT answer your questions! They will NOT EVER do anything that is BENFICIAL to you. God help them! PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE SUCKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD. SO BAD. EVIL.

Worst experience. I changed insurance companies after I turned 25. My premium increased every single year for 4 years. It even increased when I turned 21 and 25 years old even though I had no accidents or tickets. I called them when I was 25 and asked why my insurance progresively increased and they had no answer. The only thing Progressive about Progressive insurance is their rates. Have other friends who shared same experience.

I have been with pretty much every car insurance company there is, trying to find the best deal over the past 10 years, and I must say that Progressive has BY FAR been the best! I like their convenient website, their friendly customer service, and most of all what I like is my very inexpensive insurance!

I hate them! If you want to just give your money to an insurance company and never actually see a person this might be a company for you. But, for anyone that wants service they need to keep looking around. Supposedly when you don't pay your monthly rates your policy is cancelled. No problem, except that we didn't pay for two months before they actually cancelled it. Now they want nearly five hundred dollars and they sent it to a collection company. Total jerks!!!!

I had two accidents where I was not at fault. Progressive was very responsive and helpful. I could always talk to someone. And when my policy renewed it did not go up, because I was not at fault in either accident. I would not judge an insurance just by the quote.

Willing to insure drivers with bad driving records (i.e. SR-22), but they are NOT the cheapest around. AIG, for me, beat their quote by HALF.

It rocks. I've had it since college- my roomate was in a wreck and he was very pleased with the customer service. Every time I have moved or switched vehicles, it has never been a problem. We have to thank this company for finally bringing down the insurance rates and improving customer servie in an industry famous for awful customer service. I am a customer for life. Also- great website!

I hate Progressive and this is my revenge. As a new immigrant two years ago I needed car insurance but I didn't have a US driving record/insurance history, even though I had a clean record from my home country. I signed up with Progressive after finding that Prog was cheaper than Geico - I just assumed I was screwed and would have to pay thousands of dollars a year until I had a US record. Then... someone recommended State Farm. I called them and they quoted me a price more than half the cost of Progressive. It was very easy to sign up and they were very, very nice. Gave me a road map too :) Also, when I needed renter's insurance, they signed me up and gave me a discount for having two forms of insurance with them, which effectively made the renter's insurance free. Wonderful. I felt so stupid for ever giving rude, rude, obnoxious Progressive a single cent - let me just say I had a bad time when I called to cancel with them. Maybe they are cheaper and nicer than others if you have a history, but they made ridiculously high adjustments to my premium when I moved neighbourhoods, which was not mirrored in my State Farm experience.
