Seriously with all the negativity that people who have said to hate Hilary Duff, has anyone ever considered that not just anyone can rise to fame? There are some who say that her fame was pure luck... but any other girl in Duff's place would have not gotten to her extent of fame. I thnk you have be a special talented and hard working person to succeed in Hollywood. Though there are some people that deny this, but jealousy is also common and mostly denied by those who secretly wish they were Hilary Duff. Its true Hilary Duff sensation is targeting the younger generation, but it takes guts for a person to stick to their beliefs through all the hating and insults. Not many people can stand and survive through all. How can you HATE someone so badly for taking this opportunity to pursue her dreams? I mean A LOT OF PEOPLE would jump at a chance to prursue their dreams and its always different when it happens to you when people start hating you about something that they disagree about your personality, career, or just YOU. Then your feelings get hurt and then you can relate to those people like Hilary(who is everyday being hurt by people's insensitive judgemental comments) who try to walk with your head held high thru the hostile crowds. And most times those hostile people don't know her. I know many might adamantly and ferociously deny this but Hilary Duff has potential. Just give her time. She just might surprise you. Don't hate what you cannot understand or comprehend. We have enough hate going around and trashing Duff is not helping when all she is doing is MAKING a living. You are probably doing the same thing by making a living at your job or trying to get yourself into a career. Haven't people criticized your talents? When is the last time someone hated you just because of a skin color, race, or whatever? Don't say you hate Hilary when you do not know her as a person. If you hate her CD or movies, then do so. If you think she's a bad actress/singer, say so but don't be saying that you hate her when you don't know that person. HATE is a very UGLY word. She is a person like the rest of us. GOOD people.

I remembered the 1st time i saw her on TV was on Lizzie Mcguire..during that time,i so dislike her..but till the movie A Cinderella Story,it totally changed my thoughts of her..after watching that movie,i totally 'fall in love' with her..n i cant stop listening to her latest musics n rewatching her movieS again n again..well,she proved me wrong from the beginning..she's excellent!

Ok my reply is to JesusFreak10888...talking about acting and singing? Well, I am an actor and I'm actually filming a pilot for a show right now called Retro News and your saying those of us that hate Hil arent out there making a dream come tru? Well, I'll say something, I am and my goal is to team up with Dakota Fanning, Amanda Bynes, and Lindsey Lohan...the 3 girls that actually HAVE talent and make a movie and drop Hil falt on her face. Who is making 7.5 mil on her next movie? ITS LINDSEY LOHAN not Hil further proving who the better actor is here. And plus I have been singing ever since I was 7 and I personally think you should take a good listen to that cd of hers again...I took my friends little sisters copy of that cd and took it to the sound studio I used to take lessons at and I registered it and took out the radio in the songs (the backround music) and listened to her actually singing and ohmigod I really thought it sounded like William Hung! So really if Hil doesnt get singing and acting lessons fast she's going to fall flat on her face cause Amanda, Lindsey, Dakota, and me are going to knock her out of the biz!

Hilary has 2 platinum selling albums because her pre-teen fans who don't know what real talent is will buy out CDs of her monotone voice. Bad actress, even worse singer. Her acting is very jerky and she always seems to be hyperventilating when delivering lines. For her singing voice...she has NO range. Seriously, if she didn't have so many tone deaf fans she wouldn't be selling albums. I will eat a shoe the day she wins a Grammy.

At first and for a lengthy while, I hated Hilary Duff but then I thought about it. Why do people hate her? Because she's cute and successful in her market? That's not fair. She does a good job catering to her young fans and does so as a good role model at least. So for now, Hilary is alright with me.

I used to like Hilary Duff on Lizze Mcguire when the show was about how shes a normal but kinda losery pre-teen, and what she goes through, and one could almost relate to it. Then the show became a show about her little adventures, whilst she prances around with her straitened hair, and LOADS of make-up on. She looked like she was a 15 year old trying to look like a 20 year old. Now, shes singing! She could barely pass as an "actress" and now she has a record deal. All I have to say is that her voice is terrible, but thanks to digital enhancement, and synthesisers, shes managed to have hit singles. Does the world really need another superficial, shallow ditz? Well, we've got one, and some stupid people seem to love her. SHES SO FREAKIN ANNOYING!
