Please read "The Bermuda Triangle Mystery Solved" (1975) by Lawrence David Kusche (ISBN 0-87975-971-2). He has researched the matter and every incident was caused by storm or accident or never happened in the BT or never happened at all. His conclusion was that the Bermuda Triangle was a "manufactured mystery," the result of poor research and reporting, and occasionally, deliberate falsification of facts. This is a joke of the first order, and the History Channel is soon going to change its name to the "Mystery Channel" if we have too many more UFO or Roswell or Da Vinci Code or Secrets of the Pyramid shows on it. The weak minded must love it!

The "mystery" of the Bermuda Triangle is an interesting subject, especially if considered with the ancient texts regarding Atlantis. That there are strange phenomenon and historical documented disappearances of planes and boats in the area is out of the question. Theories abound, but none with any credible or provable documentation. Somewhere out there, is the answer. All we need to do is find it. Easier said than done :)

Oh, yes. Wouldn't want to put it to the test.

This doesn't stand up to the most cursory examination, although it provides supermarket tabloids with good copy. I think this is where Osama's hiding.

For me, the most gripping part of the Bermuda Triangle thing are the radio accounts of people who had actually disappeared but somehow could still speak about what they saw. One pilot spoke of seeing a bright pink sky and white streaks across the ocean floor, almost like whitewater rapids, and massive creatures walking on the land below. Whether it's true, and if it's true whether it's a time warp or another dimension, this defies all imagination. It doesn't get more interesting than this, folks.

there are more airplanes lost over land than in the bermuda triangle- and the great lakes are far more dangerous to shipping

People go through the Bermuda Triangle all of the time and without even realizing it.

It is so unbelievablty cool. I wonder what really happened to Amelia Airheart. That would be interesting to know.

Look at the raw data please - use the scientific method - planes and ships do not sink, crash or "disapear" more here than anywhere else in the world. The triangle just has good PR.

People and planes fly over it all of the time. So a storm blows a plane down. That dosen't mean it has some "supernatural force" behind it. Planes and boats go down or sink all over the world, not just in Bermuda.

I have never been to Bermuda or any of the islands in that area, but I do know that people fly and sail through there all the time and don't disappear. I don't believe anybody has vanished there in a long time. Was it bad weather or something else that caused flight 19 and various other planes and ships to simply vanish off of the face of the Earth. We may never know. Whatever it is, it seems to have stopped or least slowed down.
