I am thrilled that Rudi has returned,but not too happy about the time slot she is now in. She made the news worth watching when she was on weeknights with Mike Galanos. They seemed to have a good chemistry working together. Whoever at CNN decided to let her go then bring her back with this horrible timeslot should be shown the door. She is obviously the best newslady in the business and could very well write her own ticket to any other news program. Erica Hill is adequate but has no personality and Christy Paul seems to have trouble getting the news across to the viewers. Lets hope CNN comes to their senses and retains Rudi to a lifetime contract and brings her back to the weeknight slot where she belongs. We love you Rudi!!! Hang in there. Mark Marsh

Forget the 5 stars. A perfect 10. SUPER to watch. The smile, the poise, the voice, the clothes, the changing hair styles, glasses on or off, all add to the most enjoyable news to watch.

What a beautiful and intelligent woman. Easy to listen to. She makes the idea of tragedies so much more palatable.

Rudi debuted back on the air, today for all you Rudi fans, looking cheery, and good as ever.

Rudi should be doing sports. A good looking babe with intelligence will keep the guys coming back for more. After awhile her talents aren't appreciated when she is doing the same ol same ol again and again. Freshen it up, let everyone see another side (maybe adventurous and fun)and go for it. Make CNN grovel in it.

I just received an email from CNN. Rudi was tending to a family illness and will be transitioning back to the air. During the transition time she will be anchoring on weekends.

I think CNN made a huge mistake in letting Rudi go! And to replace her with Erica Hill is the biggest JOKE!

I don't watch HLN near as much as I did when Rudi was on.

My family is not watching CNN anymore... I hope she goes to CBS or FOX...

I still cannot get it. CNN's decision is to let her go is asinine. I feel as if I have lost a very close friend. I search the Internet everyday hoping that some news will come of her situation. I still get hope she is on the air when I look at my Time Warner on screen listing and she is listed, only to be let down by the presence of Erica Hill or Christi Paul. Rudi did nothing to discourage viewer turn-out, however, their standard 30-minute over and over inundation of the same news while in Prime Time did. Which ironically is exactly how HLN news was setup in the beginning. Truth is if you want viewers...don't show the same thing over and over!!! Rudi gave everything she had to the show: class, intellingence, charisma, and her awe stunning presence. Rudi, I love you, we all do. I hope to see you on another network soon.

I think the bottom line is that Rudi has charisma........in spades!!!! It's a hard thing to explain, but she has it. I miss her

She does good reporting and interviewing. She has a great personality. I can see her really going places. Of course I'm sure her looks help. I can see why some may not like her since she is easily one of the most beautiful women that ever lived. It would be a shame to see her go to fox. Rudi Bakhtiar captivated my interest and my heart at the same time way back around 1997 when I believe I first saw her beautiful presence on CNN HLN late shift. I couldnt go to bed that first night I saw her and I watched over 3 hours of repeated news headlines just to continue my ever increasing hunger to see this absolute perfect creation of a woman. CNN has truly dropped the ball on this one big time if they lose Rudi. Rudi has style, grace, and intelligence all nicely refined with world class Miss Universe type beauty. CNNs major loss might be FOXs biggest gain. Need more that just 5 stars, she's a 10 star lady!

CNN HLN is not a news program worth watching on a normal basis; the format has changed numerous times over the years. The only news anchor that made CNN HLN something great was Rudi. Rudi has a commanding presenece, clear speaking ability and flawless execution, day after day!! Her professional abilities easily surpass every single anchor that CNN has or had. The icing on the cake of course is her captivating looks; an all around classy, gorgeous person and the most attractive female news anchor to ever be broadcasted. Needless to say, I will no longer watch CNN HLN and if she shows up on the gardening channel - to watch grass grow news I will watch that religiously. Rudi has an innate ability to make everything she talks about, interesting!

Rudi's departure would be a great loss to CNN. I hope the cooler heads prevail on both sides! No doubt that Rudi will do well whereever she goes.

One of best voices in the TV and a pleasure to watch. What a loss for CNN. In a mixed up world, for CNN to let go of their main news anchor who could acualy pronounce all those middle eastern names is an absolute mistake. I am sure Rudi will succeed in whatever she does. I too hope sho does not join FOX. I'll miss her cheerful presence.

Rudi Bakhtiar has a calmness in her reporting style that is reminiscent of Uncle Walter--Walter Cronkite. She is, of course, far better looking. It doesn't hurt to be watching a comely lass inform us--step by step--of the destruction of this planet in these troubling times. In fact, watching an ugly ol' newscaster inform us about global warming, genocide, mass murderers, etc., would be double trouble. Why? Hearts and minds sickened by bad news, eyes damaged badly by some ugly mug. NO siree, not for me. Give me Rudi any day...

Television is a visual medium. Rudi is attractive enough that I would stop surfing channels and watch CNN's HLN.

I was wondering what happened to her. I really enjoyed listening to and watching her. Late night news isn't the same since she left. She was one of the primary reasons I watched HLN at night. Just hearing her very distinctive voice while channel surfing made me stop and take a few moments to watch HLN. It didn't hurt that she was very easy on the eyes.

Definitely fox material! Can't wait to see her there.

I've watched Rudi quite a bit. Besides being a complete hottie, she very rarely makes mistakes. She is excellent at pronunciation and inflection. If she was forced out as rumored, CNN's (HN) loss. Send her over to Fox. She can be queen diva.
