This stadium has a capacity of 110,000 but only holds that many because they have jammed the seats so close together. Restrooms are non-existent and the facility has no architectural flair. In fact, it is little more than a crater with seats. BIGGEST is NOT always BEST.

Impressed by the lack of signage. Not one advertisement was seen at all. Not intimidating at all however, even Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, IA is louder with 45,000.

It is a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon. The stadium is partially dug into the ground. You don't realize how huge it is until you walk inside. Michigan Stadium oozes tradition and history. The one negative thing is that it doesn't hold sound well at all. Even though the crowd is always huge, the stadium is so quiet that it provides little in the way of home field advantage.

I'm not lying when I say this is the quietest stadium I've been to (of over 20). Apparently size really doesn't matter. Thank God - right Michigan fans! Bigger is not better in this case.

The worst looking stadium I have ever seen. Looks like a giant high school stadium from the outside, one of the quitest in the big ten second only to a half filled Northwestern. No wonder it needs to be so big, to make up for the lake of noise.

111,700. Nuff said.

An absolutely classic example of home field advantage surrounded by examples of what Saturday afternoon college football is all about

suprisingly mellow stadium to be the largest, not very loud at all
