Arnold Murray is a wonderful teacher of the Word of God. No earthly man is perfect which means no man is 100% perfect in all things but Arnold Murray is as near perfect a teacher of God's Word as one can be. I don't see how anyone could possibly go wrong by listening to his teachings on the Bible.

And teach the Bible he does! He teaches verse by verse and chapter by chapter and boy does he ever go deep into the Word. It's not like most "preachers" who read 2-3 verses and go on for an hour about what they did last week while panting and gasping for breath and repeating the same words over and over. Once you listen to Pastor Murray just a few times you soon start to see that he is an intelligent teacher and not someone that has to depend on theatrics to interest people in the Word of God.

It was a wonderful blessing to me and my family when I found Pastor Murray and I thank God for it often. The more I study with Pastor Murray and the Shepherd's Chapel is the more plain the Bible becomes to me and I know I'm a much better and happier person due to that fact.

There seem to be many that do not like Pastor Murray or his way of teaching. I guess he teaches different from what many of the mainstream churches teach. However, I've not seen anyone who has been able to prove any of his teachings wrong. I have also seen many outright lies about Pastor Murray on the internet. I assume Satan must be upset that the true Word of God is being taught and is probably doing all he can to turn people away.

I would recommend that anyone who loves God and wants to know what His Word really says to at least check out Arnold Murray and The Shepherd's Chapel for themselves. If you watch or listen for just a few minutes it will be very plain that this is the real thing and not someone begging for money and trying to get rich in the name of God.

I'll admit at first I thought some of his statements were wrong. But from listing to Pastor Murry I have learned SO MUCH! I have gotten into deeply researching the Bible. Guess what- HE IS RIGHT on all his points. I tried to prove him wrong as he challenges. But I could NOT. Look into it deeply if you disagree with him. You will be amazed of the wealth of knowledge you will gain. I thank God for THIS Pastor!!

I have been listening to Mr.Murray for about five years and know in my heart he teaches very well.I pray that there's more teachers like him in the world so that people have some meat instead of milk.Theres so many pastors that waste there time with begging scams and telethons that draw people away from the word.It's a breath of fresh air to have someone that just teaches the word chapter by chapter and verse by verse.I have grown so much in a solid way since listening to him.But he is a man and not perfect,but he sure is blessed.
We all need to pray for him and that the world is filled with more teachers that teach this way and are truly blessed.

Guess I should have checked out Garner Ted Armstrong a little bit : )  Turns out there's a lot of controversy over this guy... no idea how true it all is, but there's an awful lot of it.   It seems like any man of God has got to lead a clean life or his ministry will fail.  After reading a lot of things about his ministry and failings, it's a pretty sad story.

I have only been watching Pastor Murray for about a month now, but I'd have to say from what I've seen he IS teaching the Word of God. I've studied the KJV bible quite a bit over the past 57 years and as far as I can tell he is right-on. He has taught me a few new ways of looking at scripture, and I must admit it has helped me tremendously. Keep up the good work Pastor Murray and may God Bless your ministry.

My mother listens to this man, and I am very worried about it.  He is a wolf in sheep's clothing, he is a false teacher, as described in II Peter chapter 2, READ IT. He is of the antichrist spirit. He seems to have a godliness about him but there is none in him.  He twists the Word of God,   then he will say that we should be careful and have discernment, and not listen to just anyone.  [The devil is so deceptive, he would say that.]  I do have the spirit of discernment, that is how I know that he is not of God. He knows the Bible very well, so does Satan.  He claims that we don't go straight to hell when we die, see II Peter 2:4 & 9. He told a viewer that the parable Jesus told of the rich man and the beggar, Lazarus, [See Luke 16:-31] referring to Lk. 16:24 where the rich man says he is in agony in this fire.  I followed all the references, it led me to Matt. 5:22; Matt. 18:9, Mark 9:43 & 48, and others, these definitely refer to the place of Hell.  Murray said he was just a little warm from embarrassment! Ridiculous! Another person asked about Matt. 8:12, where the 'subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth' he doesn't give any real explanation.  He said some ridiculous thing about moons and darkness, and that they are just in this darkness until they get back into the word of God.  THEY ARE DEAD!! This refers to the separation of believer's from non-believers and the fate of the non-believer!  You do not get to read the Bible in hell and decide to change your mind, if you die in sin that is it, no second chances.  I know a lot of people want to believe this false theology, it's comforting, I even tried to believe it, but it just does not match up with the Word of God.  Just like so much of Mr. Murray's 'teaching' doesn't.  He has the nerve to refute the words of Jesus!  He flat out lied about what Matt. 4:6 says.

Some poor woman wanted to know about her husband that died 2 years ago, what he was doing, somehow, Murray got off on Rev. 20:5, and said that it says that God's elect will reign with him and will be teaching discipline to the one's that died who were spiritually dead. Rev. 20:5 'The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.'NIV.

You people who follow his teaching need to wake up, study the word of God yourselves, don't let this deceiver lead you down a wrong path for the sake of your eternal soul.  SEE: II John v 7; I John 5:18-21; read the whole book of Jude.  I remind you Mr. Murray completely distorted the words of the book of Rev. 20:5, please read Rev. 22:18-21.

He's a GREAT teacher sent from GOD in these last days of trouble. Arnold teaches the truth about God's word, and those who reject it don't like the TRUTH! If you decide to listen to Arnold Murray, as I also did for a few years, please do so with caution.  He simply has too many 'unique' doctrines that he teaches that are not in harmony with the Bible.  Selective verse reading with a touch of commentary is not sufficient to back any number of his teachings.  Doctrine needs to be clearly and solidly backed with Scripture alone!  It was only after I had prayerfully studied the Bible for myself and read anything I could find from anyone on the different subjects I chose to study out that some of his teachings could be seen as false.

Pastor Murray is a very knowledgeable teacher. I have met him personally and can genuinely say he is a warm, loving person.   Just because some may disagree with some of his teaching does not mean he is a false teacher. Besides, I would never bet my eternal life on ANY man - our faith is (as it should be) in the grace of Jesus Christ - not man.

Arnold Murray is the most interesting preacher I've seen on TV. Most of these other televangelists just want you to send them some money or buy their "miracle water" or some such thing, but Murray just reads his Bible and offers his insights. He has the questions from viewers after the bible study each time, and he lets the viewer decide for themselves whether or not to believe him. Fair enough...
The Murray critics all seem to get way too foamy at the mouth for my tastes. If they are going to get that strident and emotional, I don't have much time for them, personally.
At least Murray repeats many times that the viewer needs to beware of false teachers...if the viewer thinks he's an apostate, he or she can simply stop watching, and not believe the things taught on the show.

The best Bible teacher I have found. One must listen to Pastor Murray and have the Bible tools at hand to check him out. We have been studying with Pastor Arnold Murray and Pastor Dennis Murray for about 5 years now and have checked him out on their teachings. At first I just knew I was going to find that what they were teaching was false, because I had never really been taught, but I have yet to find his teachings wrong. For example I thought we were going to meet Jesus in the "air" i.e. in "sky" on that "great getting up mornin".  Rapture?  Check that word "air" Strong's # 109. It differs from "air" Strong's # 3772 the sky where the "fowls of the air came" as stated in Mk 4:4. Now that "air" stated there does mean sky. The word "air" in 1Th 4:17 is not sky it is a breeze or to breathe. So, that being the case, we are to meet Jesus in the breath of life right here on earth when He comes to meet us in the "air". This is just one of the many, many times I have tried to prove them wrong. Next time when you listen to the their Bible teachings get your Stong's Exhaustive Concordance, and the Smith's Bible Dictionary and check them out. Please don't pass judgement before you really check them out in the Word of God. I think our Father would be happy to to look down and see us studying his Word rather than tring to find fault with people. After all, He is the Judge not us. Let's all study to show ourselves approved and be followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Just remember people, not everyone has ears to hear and eyes to see. Ask yourself this question. I have spent many years searching for the truth about what this world of ours is albout. I have been to many different churches and watched countless television ministries; it was not until I started watching Shepard's Chapel that the Bible came alive and started making since to me. I will agree that Pastor Murray's teaching are not for everyone(I can say I do not agree 100% with the pastor, but, who does), but it has helped me immensely. Simply the best teacher to learn scripture from, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Does not get any simpler than that. As far as the feedback suggesting Murray conjectures, well, it sounds like your not doing your homework that Murray states repeatedly you must do for yourself. As Murray ongoingly states "Read it for yourself, Check it out for yourself, don't just take my word for it". Time to get to work if your a serious bible student. ;)

I don't know if anyone will read this, but I would like to say that Pastor Arnold Murray makes sense to me. I truly beleive that If you don't like what he teaches then You don't like the word of God. All he's doing is giving the Facts straight from the Bible. The bible says there would come a time when most would turn from sound doctrine. And the "whole world" would be deceived. Well most people believe the rapture. Only A minority believe the way Pastor Murray teaches. So according to the bible, statistically there is a greater chance that those who believe in the rapture are being deceived by traditions of man. They need to seek God first and stop following the majority, Because the bible clearly states that God's People are A Minority and will be hated by most men! Seek Good counsel from God not man and then just maybe God willing your eyes will be opened and you will see a more beautiful plan than you had ever dreamed of!

I am not a fundamentalist or a dispensationalist. In fact none of my friends is a member of such a group. I don't think I know many members of those and, indeed, I have met very few. I met one of Martha's third cousins, from some place in Arkansas, who was in a member of one of those churches there.

The gang at my favorite waterhole, Murphy's Strip Bar and Armenian Grill, is I am sorry to say, exclusively once born. The exception to the previously stated comments is the relief day bartender at Murphs, Fred deGraffenreid, who I guess was from rural Alabama.

Fred claims that he has been baptised three or four dozen times. He used to go to revivals, and ditch baptisms, whatever they are. He claimed it was a great place to meet girls and get laid--but I digress.
