I have a few of his teachings. I agree with others. Let God be the judge. God will execute judgment accordingly. We do not need religious police. It seems like if a preacher has money, then God hasn't called them. Do you think just because God called them to preach, He cannot prosper them, the devil is a liar.

He should be so ashamed. He is a false teacher. He wants your money and people have sent him alot of it. He is a millionaire laughing at you as you go to the poor house and you still know nothing of God.

Sickening. One of the worst in name it and claim it. He better realize that he is deceiving so many people. Teach people grace not what God can do for you. It's supposed to be about worshiping God not God giving us things. We are sinners and filthy rags and he died for us anyway and he makes God into a Santa Claus.

I wonder how many people have been to his church. I wonder if they've felt the spirit of God there. I wonder how many people who comment on televangelists are saved and know Jesus. It is important to be under a pastor but we must know Jesus for ourselves. God will lead you to the right man or woman of God if you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. Creflo has some positive things to say especially about emotions and strongholds. I think that we need to use caution about saying who isn't called and who is. The Lord knows those who he called to preach and who he didn't and he is the one to judge. God wishes us to prosper and be in good health (check 3 John), so I agree with propserity teaching, but that is not all Dr. Dollar teaches on. Please check his teachings on prayer, emotions, marriage and growth in God. You might say that I've fallen for what people say is his faulty doctrine and cultic brainwashing, but I know Jesus for myself and He is my God not Creflo.

Dear All,

I am a Muslim, but I love watching Pastor Dollar. His messages are very articulate, his passion for God is commendable. I do agree he is flashy, but there is nothing wrong with him encouraging his congregation to strive for a better financial position.

UPDATE I just read elisafuks comment and it is so sad, my heart goes out to you. Dont be discouraged because Jesus will never hurt you. You can see why Jesus calls people like Dollar and Copeland wolves in sheeps clothing. He calls them wolves because of their heart. They couldnt care less about you, whether you become poor or not, they just want money. Its funny how Jesus accused the Pharisees of the same thing stealing from widows. Its funny how the preachers who preach on tithing the most are the ones who have the most money, hmmmm! Yet you will never see any of their congregation owning private jets and waring $500 suits. As far as God is concerned, those WOF who love money so much What is desirable to men is detestable to the Lord (Luke 16:14-15). It is not wrong to be rich, but when you start to get money by reintroducing OT commands, that is wrong. Jesus has good in mind for you elisa. ORIGINAL: From what I've seen of him, this guy's idol seems to be money. Because I once saw a sermon where he was making the audience shout 'Money cometh to me, now.' I certainly couldn't imagine Jesus telling people to say that, when Jesus told us not to store away things on this earth where moth and thieves can destroy. In fact, Jesus message in the Gospels was not to focus on money or prosperity at all, and that money was worldly and to focus first on the Kingdom of God. If you want more confirmation, read first Timothy chapter 6 and in Luke, how Jesus always spoke against people who loved money. Jesus said, 'You can only serve one master' when He spoke about money. You either love the one and hate the other. You can't serve both God and money. Prosperity doctrine is a lot of rubbish because God's will is different for different people. None of the Apostles were prosperous physically, and Apostle Paul had to work for his money. The reason why prosperity doctrine is so bad is because it not only teaches us to focus on money and to love God just so He can give you something back, but it also teaches us not to love the poor. Because they teach you that if you are not rich, then it must be because you are disobedient to God. The opposite is true because Jesus says that he who is first shall be last, and he who is last shall be first and how the poor person in that parable in Luke 16:19-31 (Lazarus) who was poor and sick, but he ended up going to heaven. In fact, the Word says that God's Heart is with the poor. That is the opposite to what WOF teaches. Plus the WOF doctrine is the biggest tool that a business man can make. Because preachers such as Dollar and Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland are business men, not 'men of God.' Anyway, the WOF is a great tool for a business man because it promises you everything your flesh wants to hear, success, power, riches and to love money at the same time as loving Jesus. Yet to have those promises, you have to give a lot of your income to the preacher. So the preacher gets all your money, yet you become poorer. The WOF is glorified theft. That's why they are so big on tithing, all the tithes go to them. And of course they are going to give some of their money away, to make it look like it is going to charity. That's all part of business, it fools you into believing that they are genuine. It is actually an ingenious business plan, but a very corrupt and dirty one.

I have a little game I play. Now and then I turn on TBN and watch the atomic clock on my wall, and see just exactly how long it takes whoever is on there to mention money. Ole Creflo normally doesn't last 3 minutes. There have been times when it has only taken him 15 seconds from the time I turn it on to say "seed" or "blessing" or "tithe" or some other begging word.
Money changers in the temple.

I just "happened" to log on to this rating section regardig Pastor Creflo Dollar. Actually, Dr. Dollar doesn't need to be rated because his rating like everyone will come from the Lord.a It's sad: satan must get a kick out of seeing a "house divided." In the scriptures the disciples pointed out to Jesus that a man was not doing things their way and Jesus responded by saying,"Leave him alone, if he's for me than he's not against me." The Bible also speaks of different people being given different gifts. I listen to some fine pastors/teachers and I can't say I ALWAYS agree with everything they say...but I don't shoot them down. If the critics would listen carefully to the teachings of Pastor Dollar perhaps they would learn something. His teaching on prosperity is not limited to finances, but to our overall well being which God has designed. Genesis says everything God made was good. It was the fall of man that polluted the earth including our thinking. If you search the scriptures, the critics will find God's people were always prosperous. Sure everyone will not be rich, some are called to be missionaries, but for those who are not...what's wrong with having the financial wealth to support the missionaries and the underprivileged. What's wrong with being a Christian that could finance a finacially deprived student for 4 years of college or help a person in need of medical service that cannot afford it? The problem with the critics is that they only think of fiancial wealth in terms of meeting their own needs. So as long as their needs are met it doesn't matter that the wealth can be used to help others. Why live in the "just enough" when you can live in the "overflow" to share with others. Financial wealth is needed to share the gospel. One cannot give what he/she doesn't have. Did God make all the wealth for the unbelievers who consumes it unto himself? Listen carefully and they will hear Dr. Dollar speak on living holy, sancitifcation, purity, love, forgiveness, prayer, fasting, and many other areas that apply to a Christian's spiritual growth. Each person has a "calling" and he has been called to share the message of prosperity. (I repeat: in all areas). Why do the critics sell God short? He is a big God that is capable of doing big things. The fact is that Dr. Dollar is a Christian who happens to live well (and not off the backs of others), and who shares his wealth. So critics, go sit down, repent and get an understanding of God's Word and walk in LOVE, giving NO PLACE TO SATAN.

It is such a shame that we as Christians are allowing aberrant teachers such as Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, Bill Winston, and the rest of the Blab-it Grab-it crowd to distract us from what being a Christian is all about. I have listened to these teachers for years, and I have yet to hear any of them preach Jesus and Him crucified the way the Bible tells us to. In fact, they are so busy convincing you of their doctrine, they rarely mentioned Jesus. Isn't this what it's about? Isn't it about Jesus? Shouldn't we be storing up tresures in heaven? Yes, God will bless us materially, but what about obedience, what about the message of repentence, what about our greatest desire being drawing closer to the Father each day. What about presenting a balanced message? I am so tired of hearing about money all the time when so many other more important areas are being neglected. These ministries encourage positive affirmations, speaking what you want into existence, and using your faith as an instrument to manipulate God into giving you all the material possessions you want for this temporary existence. All of this is rooted in metaphysics and the power of positive thinking, not in God's Word. Yes, these false churches teach prosperity, but if you notice, the only one driving the Bentley and owning private jets are the pastors. If what they are peddling really works the way they claim it does, then there would be no poor people in their communities, and all the people in the congregation would be wealthy. But that is not the case. Stick with the Word of God, and nothing else.

I can't beleive some of the comments I have read here from fellow Christians. How can these people call themselves men of God if they speak so negitively of there brother. Read Mathew 22:34.....,and 1John 3:13,14. After you have read it, come back and tell me you are a true Chritian. If you are still not convinced, log on to creflodollarministies.com and listen to all of his teachings on the word of God. Follow along with your bible and tell me that he makes these things up. Shur he teaches about finacial prosperity, but he also teaches about developing your spiritual life as well. I personally have been studying the word of God thrue Dr. Creflo Dollar and I have never developed more love and compassion for my fellow brotheren then the past few months. Also more important then that my personal connection with the Lord all mighty has never been stonger then past few months. I truely feel the presence of God around me and in me. How can the teachings of this man be wrong when the precense of God is around.Thank you for taking the time to read my comments and may God bless you.

After reading the responses on this site, one question comes to mind; Could someone please describe the 'perfect preacher' for me? The men and women listed here seem to draw criticism for anything and everything; Ministry is too big, they talk too loud, they weigh too much, they have a funny name, etc, etc. Shoot, if these detractors saw Jesus himself preaching they would still manage to be critical! "He must be 'fleecing his flock'! I mean, did you get a whiff of him? All those expensive spices and oils..." or "The son of a carpenter? How hokey is that?" Maybe "Where did he get the moeny to pay for all that bread and fish?" "He RODE into town while others walked, who does he think he is?". I think you get the picture. Personally, I agree with the "Love one another" crowd. What bad can come from having true love for one another? Is it so terrible that there are people out there that have led others to accepting Jesus Christ? The bible is such an intricate and detailed work that even after 2,000+ years man is still gleaning information and gaining understanding from it. So why get on this site to sling criticism every which way? "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Who amongst you, then, is qualified to be so critical and judgemental?

Just wondering if any one of the complainers had a minister that they actualy liked. So many of the same complaints are said about Creflo Dollar (c'mon w/ jokes about the last name, its not like named himself), Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Gregory Dickow, etc. Do you have any positive sentiments about any minister? I'm curious as I'm new to the faith and trying to find out whose legitimate and whose not. Thanks.

I read alot of the comments.I hear alot about Dr. Dollar being a phony, a begger, thief and everything else (all untrue). Where is the respect for men of God (well I suppose you don't believe that he is a man of God). It sound like alot of people are scared.. Scared that what Dr. Dollar is saying is true, but they don't see it in their own lives so Dr. Dollar must be a crook...The other thing I hear is he is doing this, he is doing that, all he preaches is about money..My question is how many of you have actually gone to the church for a month to hear the messages teaches and preaches? Then you would be able to speak on Dr. Dollar. Also, have you implemented the word of God in your own lives? Are you prosperous in every area of your life (spiritually, physically, financially, socially, intellectually, family, job, relationships etc..). I personally have seen a diffence in my life as a result of applying the principles from the word of God through Dr. Dollar teaching (he makes the word of God so simple and easy to understand-that is a gift from God). So before you speak on him- make sure you have done your part. It's real easy to speak negatively about someone when things are not working for you. If you were prospersous in your own lives- to a degree that would cause attention- what would you say then? I have personally seen Dr. Dollar help people with the wealth that he has acquired. You talk about all the negative. Do you know of all the positive things he has done?? God is using his gift to teach others how to live a prosperous life in Christ...God is love and I thank him for sending Dr. Dollar into my life. Those of you who have Christian leaders in your life should see them as gifts from God. Those of you who are not Christians and don't don't have understanding I encourage you to allow God to come into your life through his son Jesus and show you how to live for him and prosper in everything he has you do....When God is first in you life you will prosper (and not just financially) I am a witness to that.Matt 6:33

Here's what I think of Creflo, he relies on the fact that his congregation won't read the bible for themselves . . . 1 Timothy 6 6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain[c] we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Christians are soooooooooooo gullible. We think that just because someone has a gift that they are not subject to the Spirit of error or use mind control to manipulate people. The word says to test the Spirit by the Spirit, we need to Pray for these people because something has truly gone wrong. People Pray as 1 Tim 2:1-2 says, and let's remember that God said He would give us Pastors after His own Heart. Pray....for them

Creflo Dollar is begging for money to keep his show on the road so to speak. This is one of the oldest tricks in the televangelist handbook. Jim and Tammy Bakker used to do it all the time. They would cry poor everyday! They lived in a big house with an air conditioned dog house. If they were so desperate for cash, why didn't they sell it all and give it to the ministry to keep it on the air? Why doesn't Creflo do the same thing? Getting rid of the bodyguards would surely save him a lot. What about those expensive, shiny suits? Couldn't he go to the Mens Wearhouse instead for the $99.99 deal? I never heard of a preacher needing bodyguards in order to protect his anointing. Jesus didn't need such people. He, I believe, touched people, and let them touch him. Why don't you get the hint and stop giving this phony everything you have! In the end he's just another holier-than-thou, Mercedes-driving beggar. UPDATE: Give me a break Zuriah!! You've got to be kidding! How many times does someone have to tell you that God's blessing and salvation CANNOT BE BOUGHT OR SOLD?!!! It's the polar opposite of the bilge that these crooks are trying to sell you on. Read your Bible.

Yes, his last name is Dollar....so what. He is trying to teach and help you have some money and the way to get prosperity in your life. Would you like him to talk poor and how to become poor? He wants abundance for you. Any prosperity teaching would show you this...not just his. There are laws in aquiring money and he's trying to help you. You have to sow your seed for it to come back. That's for love, peace and money. If you want it...give it away. His following would not be this large if no one was sowing anything. He simply would not have the following.

Creflo Dollar is a great teacher Anointed by God. When he teaches he proves it with the Scriptures. The whole time he's teaching he's showing you in the Word. Most people that come against him are not following along in the Scriptures--because if they did, how could they deny the truth. Most of the haters go to a traditional church where their pastor may show them one Scripture and then preach from that. Let the Word of God be the final authority. Read the Word. Study to show yourselves approved. Also, another thing that is evident [those who speak negative against creflo dollar] that they don't watch him is they say, All he talks about is money... That's not true at all. He taught on righteousness for like 5 or 6 months. He teaches on marriage and the family. He teaches on healing. He teaches on Love, peace, wholeness, salvation, Jesus, etc... People just highlight the money part. Well, I'll put it this way. There's only 2 forces in this world: 1. God's system 2. The devil's system There are no in-betweens. Either you handle your money God's way or the devil's way. How can you handle your money God's way if you're not taught? How can you handle your money God's way if you don't know what God says about it? How can you handle your money God's way if you think He doesn't say anything about it.

I wish there was a rating lower than one star because Dr. Dollar deserves it. How many times when I was deceived by the WOF movement did I hear this man say that if you only had $2.50 to plant it as seed into a good ministry - meaning any of his friends in the WOF ministry - and you'd receive the hundred fold return. Yet, this very morning when I was changing the channels on the TV I heard this man asking the viewing audience to send in at least $35 to help him get out of over $2 million of debt he owes for his TV time. He, like all the other WOF preachers, brags about how much money he gives away, then why is he in debt if he's sowing into good ground? He should have billions of dollars from the hundred fold return he's getting on all the money he has supposedly sown. What a hypocrite this man is!! He's always spouting off about it's wrong for Christians to be in debt because then they can't sow seeds. Yet, he does the exact same thing and then expects people who don't have nearly the money he has to pay off debt he himself incurred. Where's this great faith that he's always bragging he has? Why ask the people to pay off his debt? He supposedly has this gigantic faith, why isn't he believing God for the money like he advises others to do? Better yet, why doesn't he sell his multi-million dollar mansion in the private gated community he's living in? Why not sell off the Rolls Royce and Mercedes cars he brags about? And what about selling his private plane to wipe out this debt? But, no, he'd never do that because then the money would be coming out of his own pocket. No, he, like every other crooked WOF preacher is going to prey on the gullible poor who can ill-afford to give money to get his sorry self out of debt HE created. One of his cohorts, Jesse Duplantis, has said numerous times that if a minister has to get on TV and ask for money so they can stay on TV then he needs to get off the air. Well, I agree with him,and Creflo Dollar and all the rest of the WOF preachers, including Duplantis, should get off the air and stop lying to people and giving them false hope of being wealthy and healthy. The only ones getting wealthy in all of this are the WOF preachers themselves at the expense of the gullible, desperate, and sick. First Timothy 6:4-5 describes Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, et al exactly when it says: he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings, of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. FROM SUCH WITHDRAW YOURSELF. (emphasis mine) (NKJV) How many times have all these WOF preachers shouted and arrogantly professed that they are godly people because they're rich? The Bible says we're to withdraw from such people because they're devoid of the truth of what God's Word really says. Contrary to what John Avanzini has tried to convince people, Jesus was NOT rich. He was a carpenter. I've got news for him and all the other WOF people who believe this lie - in Jesus' time carpenters and fishermen were poor people. Rich does not equal godly. Just look a Mother Theresa's life and this statement will be proved. Personally, I can't even stomach hearing the bilge these preachers are spouting anymore. It is unconscionable what these frauds are doing in the name of Jesus just so they can live lavish lifestyles and one day they will all give an account of what deception they perpetrated on these gullible souls.

Ok, first of all let me say that people need to know what they are talking about before they make comments on something that they have no clue about. Secondly, people need to keep their mouth off of God's children. Any tongue that lines up against the righteous shall be condemned. I must say that Pastor Dollar has really helped me to change in so many ways. His powerful, and insightful messages about walking in love and true character of a christian has really made me realize a lot of things. Pastor Dollar is definitely a character builder and he ALWAYS ALWAYS talks about walking in love...but people would know that if they went to the church, instead of listening to rumors. The devil is busy and in the bible it states, that people shall perish for lack of knowledge. Ever since I've been a member at WCCI, I've really been fed spiritually and I've grown + changed a great deal from the way that I used to be. Yeah, sure, people make the comments that he is out for money, but don't you think God would've done something to him a long time ago if he was false?? Lets think here. I can hear his compassion for the body of Christ and how he wants everyone to live a fulfilled life. God has ordained this man to bring forth the word with simplicity and understanding, so keep your mouth off him!!

Dr. Creflo Dollar 1

If you would check his birth certificate his last name is probably something like Leonard. Dollar was the nickname probably given to him by his buddies in college after he told them about the ministry scam he was planning.
