 | badgerfan (5) 02/27/2008 | He is great. I just can't give him a five. I love the impressions though. The best would be a toss up between Donald Trump of Dick Cheney.

 | krammydawg (0) 10/10/2007 | he is not nearly as good as he thinks he is....plus...really...(just like Tim Nettles before him) he would be long gone from SNL and onto movies and or TV IF he had any actual talent...the really talent...is his...agent

 | southparker9 (0) 04/19/2005 | One of the best they've had at impersonations. Does a good Jesse Jackson, Al Gore, and Jimmy Carter. At times I thought he did a good job with the material they gave him.

 | helmut (16) 01/25/2005 | His impressions are incredible. Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Chris Matthews, Rev. Jessie Jackson, Sean Connery, etc. But I kind of felt like he was single faceted. He would appear elsewhere only as a straight man. Still, he was darned good at impersonations.

 | callitdowntheline75 (53) 10/19/2004 | No one was better at mimmicking Bill Clinton than Darrell Hammond was. Hammond is a brillliant comedian who may have a long career ahead. Unlike Chevy Chase who was difficult in and out of SNL, Hammond remains popular with his former colleagues.

 | DiamondDavid (0) 05/27/2004 | His portrayal of Gore is dead-on. Talking out of the side of his mouth when portraying Cheney is funny as well.

 | zuchinibut (36) 10/30/2003 | Best impressionist ever on the show. If you don't want to rate him that high, just remember the 8 years he spent as Bill Clinton. What other castmate had that great of a run for so long.

 | StanUzbeck (14) 09/25/2003 | This guy and Will Ferrell are probably the two most talented SNL cast members of the last decade. Darrell Hammond is kind of the new Phil Hartman, in that he appears in damn near every skit and he can play the widest variety of roles. I liked in him pretty much every skit I've seen. Even his Al Gore impression was funny, which is pretty a hard thing to accomplish.

 | snlgirl (0) 06/22/2003 | He is a truly great talent. He can do an impression of almost anyone. His Clinton is classic. He also does a great Gore, Chris Mathews, Jesse Jackson, and so many others. The Show won't be at all the same once he leaves.

 | Redoedo (39) 06/11/2003 | His impersonations of Bill Clinton and Sean Connery is some of the funniest stuff to show up on SNL in years.

 | KarinaLiebchen (0) 06/04/2003 | The man is a FREAK! He thinks his cock has powers. I know. I sucked it. Now I have all these powers I don't how to use. He left me to figure it out all on my own. My voice keeps changing and I'm losing my mind. Whenever I hear the song Landslide, I don't know if I'm Stevie Nicks or a Dixie Chick. Dr. Phil, where are you?

 | callmetootie (4) 12/04/2002 | During his first 2 or 3 years, he was quite amusing (look at his Clinton impression), but after a while, he got repetitve and obnoxious.

 | LeMat (0) 12/01/2002 | Hammond wasn't flashy or gaudy. He never dangled large props or ostentatious character quirks in front of the audience like a set of jangling car keys. He packaged fine writing in a flawless, versatile vehicle, and let the product sell itself evenly. That's what the business is all about. He was the only exception to the rule that impersonation must seem like impersonation to be funny. I once nearly thought that Marlon Brando was talking about dogs that catch frisbees on Jeopardy. Somehow I picture him standing in the wings with a tumbler of scotch, cringing silently in pain for Molly Shannon as she sniffed her armpits night after night. I would have left, too. He'll be missed.

 | Jason1972 (3) 11/04/2002 | I don't know if he's still with SNL. If he isn't, it's too bad because of his impersonations, he is the MVP for SNL, at least since he's ever started there he's been an assett.
