 | GenghisTheHun (167) 04/29/2008 | I really enjoyed plane and solid geometry. I had great teachers in the 1950's.

 | twansalem (36) 04/28/2008 | High school geometry was one of the easiest math classes I have every taken. I still learned a fair amount, but I wasn't really challenged at all.

 | Broodinghen (12) 04/30/2007 | Three stars means that it should not be overdone. The basics of Geometry are rather useful for many problems in life. As for the more intricate geometrical problems it would be more interesting which and how many they are (loads!) than to learn how to cope with a few of them.

 | defbean (5) 09/11/2005 | Geometry is a lot of fun. It teaches you to think in a completely different mindset as you visualize symmetry and such. Plus you get to draw. I love making those astrids.

 | hamchat1 (0) 03/09/2005 | I took Geometry my freshmen year in high school. I remeber days when i could kill the teacher. All I really remeber is like the simple stuff. I realize that If you dont want to learn someting, you won't remember how to do it

 | Elf_ears13 (1) 11/26/2004 | Actually, I'm getting an A, but it's really hard to learn anything in that class because my teacher doesn't really teach. She just says do this homework, and if you have any problems with it let me know. I wish there were less postulates and theorems to remember.

 | Redbird294 (0) 09/11/2003 | I'm not very fond of Geometry, to tell the truth. In fact, most areas of mathematics that end in -ometry I'm not very fond of. I've only taken one geometry course--sophomore year of high school. Getting a good grade on a test in that class was like pulling teeth. At least I learned a new term in that class that I havent forgotten--perpendicular bisector. That's the only thing I remember, unfortunately.

 | Snoopy (3) 07/04/2003 | Like algebra, I was good at basic geometry, but when we got to the more advanced stuff, I found it very difficult. Some of the formulas were easy for me to remember, but knowing when to apply them was a little hard.

 | Redoedo (39) 05/24/2003 | I can understand the need for Geometry in the workplace and why it is taught in High School, but I took it this year and just never got the hand of it. I got one of my only Bs in this course. My teacher herself admitted that she preferred Algebra over Geometry, and I agree. The problem with Geometry is not applying skills and doing math. The problem is memorizing theorems and postulates. If you do not know those theorems and postulates, then Geometry is going to be a lot of trouble for you. It was a lot of trouble for me. I've only gotten an A on a Geometry test twice this year. I'd much rather take Algebra.
