I tried signing up on the phone and I was told to wait after giving them all the info they wanted. I waited & waited & finally hung up. Checked my yahoo mail. No confirmation, nothing. Went online and signed up. Used a different id this time since I was told the one I wanted (& the one I had given them over the phone) was unavailable. Got confirmation mail & have been using them ever since. Turns out that they did indeed sign me up the first time but didn't tell me & have been double charging me for the last 4 months. Sent them a request. No reply. After a month of constantly sending them emails getting back only autoreplies, they canceled the other account. Won't answer my questions about credit back. Lousy support. A shoestring operation that likes to swindle.

Connects at 46KB on with a 56kb modem. Often as low as 26kb. I tried the express and it seems to have no noticable improvement. Now the news groups are gone! 502 No access to hawk. Looks like A4L has not paid it's bills. Of course, customer service ran me around telling me to try every number they have in my area before they finally told me they have a server problem and that it would be fixed by COB that day. When it was not fixed the next day they said it would be fixed when it would be fixed. I'm looking for a new ISP now. They are just awful.

The online support appears to be a computer program. I have yet to receive a reply to my support question that actually addresses my question. The price is right, the support sux.

I have been using access4less for about a year and I love it. I never get dropped and have very fast connection times. Setup was easy with detailed directions on their site. Also comes with 2 e-mail addresses.

when i first got it i thought it was a good dial-up but then i found out that they were charging me for the express service when i had signed up for the regular service. when i contacted them they blamed me for signing up wrong but i had print screened the sign-up page so i know for sure what i signed-up for. then, instead of cancelling my service as requested, they initiated a new billing cycle (with time left on the previous) and charged my credit card again. p. lister, phoenix az.

Just joined yesterday (7/7/04) and Access4Less to be a good ISP. The only thing thats a bit annoying is the dialer login feature. It takes a few tries before you finally get logged into the system. All in all a pretty good bargain. Bob Bove, Staten Island NY.
