The only thing that worked for my underarm sweating. Worked the first day after treatment and has worked since. Down to treatments only every two weeks now and cannot believe that I'm CURED.... I can live my life like a normal person now.

I just purchased Drysol last night from Walmart, and the stuff is amazing. I wore a think, light blue shirt today and I didn't sweat at all! I reccommend this product to anyone who needs it. The iching and burning the first night was next to unbearable, but I am hoping in time it will dissipate. Awesome prodcut, and the burning is worth it for the results!

I've suffered for years from excessive sweating in my armpits. I used Drysol for the 1st time and the next day there was VERY LITTLE sweating. After the 2nd application I now am completely dry. This product is great and I would reccomend it to anyone with Hyperhidrosis. I am so happy not to have embarraasing wet marks and stains and to finally wear a shirt other than the color black. The buring and itching does hurt, but I found if I just skipped a night or two that helped my skin calm down and then at the next application it was not as bad. TRY IT!!!

Um for the person below me: Yeah, that's why you put it before going to bed (becuz u dont sweat when ur asleep) and u put it on a dry place. I bought it yesterday, and i put it on before bed. I got a little worried because i started sweating a little but eventually just forgot about it and went to sleep. TODAY, I HAVENT HAD A SINGLE DROP. i keep touching and expecting it to be soaked, but nope!! IM SO HAPPY. DRYSOL IS AWESOME!

BUT I'M HERE TO SAY THIS IS DAY 2 OF MY USE WITH DRYSOL AND NOT A WET SPOT IN SIGHT AND I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THIS. I WISH I COULD RATE IT A TEN BECAUSE IT'S OFF THE SCALE. IT MAY SEEM SMALL TO OTHER PEOPLE BUT IF YOU GO THOUGH THIS EVERYDAY IT MAKE YOU FEEL SO BAD AND DEPRESSED. I AM A HAPPY, HAPPY WOMAN THANKS GOD AND DRYSOL

I'm a bit confused on how to use Drysol... Do you have to shower at night and then put it on, or is it OK to put it on at night and shower in the morning? Also, the first time you get it, do you put it on and if no sweating occurs that day, just skip the next night? What if you skip the next night and sweating occurs during the day? How do you know what to do? Thanx in advance!

I have been using Drysol since August of 2005. It works great! I can wear flip flops and heels now!!!! Now I don't worry about what kind or color of clothing I buy! Taking tests and shaking hands aren't a problem anymore. I use Drysol about once a week now, but I also take a prescription drug called Toprol every day. Toprol is normally used on people with high blood pressure. I believe that this is helping me as well because I feel so much more calm and don't get extremely anxious anymore. Everyday life feels normal now! My doctor gave me Toprol, along with the Drysol, because he thought that I had an extreme case of hyperhidrosis. I would sweat when I was sitting at the computer. I could honestly be doing absolutely nothing other than sitting, and not feeling anxious about anything... and I could collect a pool of sweat in my palms, my socks could be wet and I would have ginormous rings of sweat under my armpits. Then sometime any area of my body would sweat when I got even remotely active in a sport. I could be drenched just doing a 10 minute warm-up before basketball practice. And during basketball games I would not have a dry spot on my jersey top or shorts. My hair would even be soaked. And actually not a part of my skin was dry. I was just wondering if anyone else takes Toprol along with Drysol??????????????? And could you tell me if you think it's helping or not!?!?! THANKS!

This product is amazing. I got a prescription for it last week and this is the first time in about 20 years that I haven't sweated. I can't wait to shop for new clothes. About the burning: The first night I used it I got out of the shower, dried myself with a towel, and put it on. Yeah, it burned a bit, but I took an Advil and went to bed. The next night I didn't use it because I hadn't sweated at all that day and my pits still felt irritated. The third night I waited about 20 minutes after getting out of the shower to be sure my pits were really, really dry before I put it on and I just barely dabbed it on. NO BURNING! Skin holds moisture even after you think it's dry, so lay on your bed with your pits exposed to the air for 20 - 30 minutes before applying it and see if that helps. Good luck. I wish every product worked as well as this stuff.

where is the best place on the internet to but drysol
Migmags 01/19/2006
I don't have underarm sweating problems, but I have palmar's hyperhidrosis... which means I have a severe hand sweating problem. I don't know why I have it but it sucks really bad. I'm the only one I know with hyperhidrosis and because of it I suffer from anxiety attacks, embarrassment, anti-social, scared to shake hands with people, test anxiety, and a lot of other things. I've been dealing with this for a long time and through internet research the only cure I've found is surgery... and I don't want to go through that. So if anyone can help me out, please do and tell me if drysol can help with my problem. Or recommend other medication, lotions, injections etc.

I have been using Drysol now for about 3 month's. At first I was hesitant in using it but with time I thought how could I have gone so long without it. After the first application, I was shocked the whole entire next day, I was so paranoid of sweating that I constantly checked my underarms for sweating but there was none. Prior to using Drysol, my sweating was so bad that I had to limit myself as to what I could wear and actually go around conscious of not raising my arms etc... as the sweating was so excessive, but now you should see my collection of new T-Shirts, I can wear anything and feel so good. I raise my arms in confidence and feel like running thru fields with raised arms like some Viagara commercial. Drysol is great. I have tried the mild and the regular but prefer the mild. I find the regular burns my underarms and makes my underarms very itchy and red. The mild is great, I use it every other night and even if I miss a night, I can still get away with one more day of not sweating.

Absolutely the best thing to ever happen to me. I was a strong sweater ever since puberty, even in cold weather, my pits would be soaked. After finding Drysol, its been a total turnaround. I used it once every other day for a week or two, then after that I didn't need to use it for at least two months, then just once a month or so, as needed. Incredible stuff. The stinging is there, especially if I need to 'update' my protection and put it on two nights in a row, but wow, its worth it! I'll take one evening of slight discomfort in exchange for MANY evenings of TOTAL COMFORT!! NO MORE SWEAT STAINS!! and this glowing praise is coming from the biggest skeptic around, I ASSURE YOU. GET THIS STUFF.

For years i have been suffering from an increasingly bad facial sweating problem. I am a semi-pro musician and was about to give up live playing because of the terrible facial sweating on stage. I used the 'dab-on' stuff, only 3x in one month with unreal results. It stings the first time, and you must NOT get it in your eyes, but it works. Thank the good Lord for this stuff.

Hey, im only 13 and i have a majorr sweating problem. I get huge wet spots under my arms and it even sweats thorugh my sweaters! Its horrible and i cant even raise my arms in class! I would LOVE to know if Drysol REALLY works so PLEASE let me know
tdogg 10/29/2005
well to be honest i have to say this stuff is great. I tried everything from drysol to anything else that is supposed to stop sweating....nothing even came close to working. then i got drysol...wow. first day i barely even sweat a single drop. the next day i applied a tad bit too much and you're talkin about hurting. big red spots under my arms from irritation...other then that this is the best stuff on the market, i deffinitley recomment it!
Sally04 10/27/2005
wow, this stuff really does work. although drysol isn't sold over the counter here in the united states; i was able to get my doctor to give me a perscription for it. then i used it last night for the first time and today i didn't have any sweat stains whatsoever. yes i did have a little trouble sleeping; but tonight im going to wrap my armpits in saran wrap. i can finally wear colored t-shirts to school. im so excited : )

I used Drysol last week and it worked like a charm. I still sweat a little by the end of the day. Maybe I'm just s super-strong sweater. After a week, it was no lnger effective. I havn't tried the plastic-wrap way, so I'm going to try that tonight. I hope it continues to work for me, because last week was the most stress free ever!

I have been using Drysol for a week now.I haven't experienced any sweating or break through. You are not suppose to use deodorant or antiperspirant while you are using Drysol. I apply in once a week at night and it holds me till the next week. I don't put on any deodorant in the morning and I am fine. Please refer to the instructions or on the internet. I love it and I am glad i found it.
triplem_97 10/04/2005
Yah you just wear it at night and then during the day just use normal deoderant! It works like a chram, I'm really glad I tryed it!
sweaty09 10/04/2005
i reall yhope this stuff. by the comments ive read i really think itll work. now i have a question. i know i wear this during the night. but during the day do i wear a regular deoderant? please let me know.

I have had a problem sweating for many years. I just heard about this product and tried it 2 days ago. I can't believe the results. I didn't sweat at all. In Canada, we can buy it at the pharmacy over the counter without a prescription. I highly recommend it. I have experienced some side effects such as itchiness and a slight rash. I used plastic wrap last night and it seemed to help. It is bearable given the results.

FRIEND SAYS AWSOME BUT ITCHY (BEARABLE) I HAVE A BAD SWEATING PROBLEM AND YEAH, HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
jincalifornia 09/19/2005
TIP- You don't need to put on an entire cottonball of the stuff. It will burn too much and you won't be able to sleep. Just soak a q tip in the stuff and spread it around. It will tingle, but not too terribly. If you find the plastic wrap annoying, don't bother with it. This product totally changed my life. I discovered it five years ago at the age of 32. I wish I'd discovered it 20 years ago. I'm a naturally thin female with axillary HH. I'd sweat constantly, for no reason at all. In hot weather, cold weather, you name it. It was worst when I was concentrating, but I'd sweat even just sitting around bored. It was embarrassing and affected my confidence in meetings and on dates. After using this, I threw out the stained shirts and bought all those tight fitting and colorful shirts I'd always wanted to wear. I can do whatever I want without giving sweat a second thought. I even raise my hands in the air on the dancefloor of a hot nightclub! I first put it on every day, then every other day, then weekly. Now five years later I put it on only about every other week. I've used both the namebrand and generic. Both were equally effective. Good luck!!

I began using drysol a while ago... but the irratation hurt so bad i would be up all night crying. So i discontinued the use for 3 months. Then I read in a magazine that if you apply it to skin after you blow dry your underarm it lessens irritation. So i thought i would give it another shot. The first day i did not get the results I suspected. But the second day i was sweat free. Other things that help is if you apply Vaseline to the skin around your underarm. How i get the less irratation: 1: blow dry the underarm 2: apply vaseline 3: apply drysol 4: wrap in plastic wrap I know it sounds bizzare but it really works. I hope this helped some of you!
pinkbullet5 08/22/2005
My god, i could advertise this stuff, its honestly amazing! i went through atleast 4years of excessive sweating, not being able to wear certain shirts, being shy to raise my arm in class.. and then i got drysol! yay! worked the first day i was so shocked! ive been using it eversince, the itching isnt too bad since my skins not that sensitive, i recommend it to anyone who has a sweating problem!

Ever since i can remember i always had a pronblem with excessif sweating.I ALWAYS used to wear colored clothes but on top of each shirt i would wear a black hoddie for the sweat not to show.I went to the pharmacie and they gave me drysol. Its 2 days i use it and i havent sweat. Its a miracle product! i havent felt this good about myself in a long time. Now i can proudly wear any color shirt and not have to hide it with a hoddie. My life has changed completly.(i used drysol and the plastic rap to cover my armpits it really works)
wrap123 07/26/2005
i used drysol for only one night so far but i found today i am not sweating at all.now for the itching and stabbing reaction the best thing to use, which was recommended was to wrap or tuck some plastic wrap to the area being treated and these irratations subside immediatly.might sound stupid but it really works, don't laugh try it,it really stopped the itching and stabbing.let everyone know what you think about the plastic wrap and if it worked for you.thank you
SandraD 07/13/2005
This stuff really really works amazingly! Plus in Canada it's available without a perscription. It does cause some irritation at first but I have been using this product for a while and the stinging seems to have ceased. Although i have been feeling a pain in my right armpit for the past few days, but i'm sure it's nothing serious. Try Drysol. It's wonderful.
Harmony 07/11/2005
In the US, you HAVE to get a prescription for Drysol. They do not sell it in any stores. Do not buy it on the internet!!! No deodorant worked for me. Not only would i sweat through it, but the smell was unbearable. After my doctor prescribed me Drysol, my whole life changed. I never have to use a deodorant again. I apply it once a week before bed. I just wait until i notice a smell before i use it again. I do 3 miles a day on the treadmill at the gym. Everything is covered in sweat...except my armpits. They are bone dry and 100% odor free. My boyfriend always wants to know my secret...how i keep so dry and odor free. It's the last product you will ever buy.

I have a sweating problem and I have been reading up about drysol of a while but I don't know where to buy it at!! I don't wanna buy it online so if anyone would help me that'd be great! cause i really really want it!!
dsweet2000 02/04/2005
Drysol really works. I don't sweat at all anymore. I'm still in my first week but it stings so much I can't use it everynight as directed. But even after those nights when I didn't use it I didn;t sweat. My skin is very sensitive so it became irritated after the second night. And since my skin is also very dry it made it even dryer and I had to use some vaseline to soothe it AND I STILL DIDN'T SWEAT!!! If you can bear the burning you'll be fine.
UofM 01/13/2005
When i first got Drysol, it worked great, i didnt sweat anymore. You need to make sure u dont apply it to much or it will cause skin irritataion. After about 2 or 3 weeks of using it, it began to loose its effect. Im still trying to figure out why. But dont let my experience ruin it for everyone else.
thumpr 06/25/2004
Drysol is the miracle I've been looking for. I never believed anything could stop the sweating, but this product works. It does cause some skin irritation but nothing I can't live with. This trully is a life changing little bottle of liquid. I would recommend this to anyone with this problem.
eddis 06/10/2004
Well, yesterday I went to the local drug store [in BC canada] and asked about products which contain Aluminum Cloride. Drysol was the only product so I bought it and was looking forward to that evening and the results from the first application the next day. TODAY is that next day. I work out on a professional rowing machine 30 minutes a day, and lift 15 kg dumb bells before and after rowing, along with a 10 minute stint on the Ab-Roller. Anyways, after today's workout my tight shirt [used to catch teh sweat] was once again damp from the sweat - but NONE under the arms. I am still amazed at the results and so is my wife. BONE DRY. I have spent over 15 years since hitting puberty dealing with this hyper hydrosis problem, and all I have to say now is OMFG! So far no redness or irritation or itching like I have read on the net, but then again, my skin is pretty resilient. If you are considering using a product like this, try it, it's worth the time and money.
MYTHOUGHTS 04/12/2004
DRYSOL changed my life. Until I was 34 I was too embarrassed to tell even my doctor that I had a sweating problem. I didn't realize there was such a condition as hyperhydrosis. I wore black clothes because they seemed to hide the wet stains under my arms. I crossed my arms over my body to hide any wetness. Socially I was reserved, afraid to call any attention to myself. When I finally broke down crying in the doctor's office, I was skeptical to hear that a roll-on was going to end it for all. At first I used it every night for 2 weeks. It had immediate results. Slowly I reduced the application to once a month. It stains some clothing when applied, and it can sting and itch which makes for a restless night sleep. However, the results outweigh these problems. My confidence has increased. My wardrobe has increased as well! I still can't believe I lived all those years hiding and wet! Try it! Another great product to try is XERAC AC. Less powerful, less irritation, It still works for me.
apajax6 03/30/2004
It's the only thing that I won't sweat through, but it can cause skin irritation.
Anonymity 12/18/2003
This stuff works, but it must be used carefully, and the instructions must be followed to the letter. Also, you may have to experiment to see how often your skin can handle an application of this product... sometimes I have to skip several days if the skin becomes irritated. If you're willing to mess with the conditions, Drysol can really be helpful.
