Glad i found this site, it reinforces to me 2 things, 1 - I am selling the best product out there and 2 - People say the craziest things. I have been cleaning my house for more years than i would like to admit, I have never had the positive experience like I have had with the rainbow, that's why I decided to start selling. I too have had a Kirby - doctor told me to stop using it because of the damage to my lower back from the weight of the machine. I have also had an Electolux, i liked that machine easier to use, much lighter but compared to the rainbow e2 it didn't stand a chance. I have sold 3 in less than the 2 weeks i have been demonstrating the product. I always leave the sale with clean consious. It is absolutely untrue that hyped up machines are used for demo's. The customer can and has requested that the demo machine be left with them. If your thinking of a long term investment in both the health of your family and a quality appliance, spend the money.

First of all, the Rainbow is not a vacuum cleaner. It does replace your vacuum, but is not called that because it is much more efficient with a completely different system. For all those who said Kerby or any other vacuum is better, you are incredibly mistaken. Maybe you think those vacuums are easier to use(which I don't agree with), but when it comes to actually cleaning up dust and dirt, the Rainbow beats ALL. It has the strongest air flow system out there and the filter does not get clogged at all because of dirt/dust(like ALL vacuums do). Vacuums only trap 10-5% of dust and dirt that it picks up- the Rainbow traps 99.997%. I'd also like to point out that it is not just a "vacuum". It cleans the air (takes out 99.997% of all impurities), is a humidifier, dehumidifier, deodorizer, vaporizer, and aromatizer. My parents got one and have seen such a difference: the need to dust has cut down over 50%, there is actually a great smell when you clean with it, and the air is so much cleaner, you can tell the difference when you clean-there's no dust flying in the air!

I have had 2 Kirby sweepers and I must say that hand's down they don't even compare to a Rainbow sweeper.

I have owned a Rainbow for a couple of months now and I have to say that it is the best investment that my family has ever made! I could not turn my vacuum cleaner back on after seeing what it blew out of the filter and seeing what it didn't suck up off the floors and furniture. My family is healthier now that we are breathing in clean air and not cat hair that used to fly around. I love the fragrances that you can use and this is the first time that my husband and I debate over who can use the Rainbow to clean. Everytime we clean, we are continuously amazed at how well the Rainbow cleans the house and the air. I was so impressed that I joined the Rainbow team, so I could help other families enjoy the cleaner homes!

$$$1500.00 For a Vacuum? WHY? You can get heavy duty industrial wet/ dry vacs for $500 - $1000. These are heavy duty units designed for daily hard use (30 hours + a week) Many are rated at HEPA or above aand certified for use in asbestos abatement. (and certified by independent labs) Consumer reports rated the rainbow as having one of the dirtiest exhausts out there. In computer clean rooms they use vacuums that cost less then this. There is no mystery about vacuum performance - suction (in/WC,) CFM. and filter rating.

I HAVE HAD MY RAINBOW FOR 1O YEARS. I HAVE SAVED THOUSAND OF DOLLARS SO FAR WITH HOW EXPENSIVE BAGS AND FILLTERS ARE. THE MAIN REASON I GOT ONE IS BECAUSE IT WAS RECOMENDED BY MY ALERGIST. ANY DOCTOR WILL TELL AN ALLERGY SICK PATIENT IS TO GET RID OF THEIR BAG TYPE VACCUM. NO ONE WILL EVER TELL ME OTHERWISE!!! I LOVE MY RAINBOW!!!!!

I just bougth the rainbow spent $1457.00 for it and its welll senpt money since i can paint with it with the air brush ataccment(other air brushes go for $300) I can purified the air at home (air purifiers go for $500), I can pick up water ( shop vac gos for $250), I can use the blower to dry up my golden retrivers (blowers go for $100), I can shampoo my flors and carpets (shampoo machines go for $1000.00) and I have a vaccum clear for my carpets sofas car ect (tradicional vacums go for $500 up) so I save money space and have the greates and most powerful system in the worldn with a lifetime garanty.

Right, after reading some of these other reviews.. I must correct those who have talked badly against the Rainbow. 1: Its not possible to have "hyped up" machine.. The motor is completely sealed, the only thing you can get to is to clean the air flow plates. (I am not a delear or a repair person). 2: The Rainbow is not a fad, it has been around since the 1930's. Don't believe me? Go into a Rainbow dealer that has been selling them for 30-40 years, most of them have an original Rexair on display just as a cool thing to see. 3: It can filter 99.997% of dust, mites, etc. WITHOUT a HEPA filter.. The new e series uses a hepa to filter out talcum powder and other dusts that are too light or do not bind with water. If you do not vacuum these substances, and you shouldn't be with a $1800 vacuum.. You don't even need the HEPA. 4: You can use the system as an air filter, I set mine up on a digital 15amp appliance timer.. From 11:30 to 11:50 it turns on without attachments on full speed. This is somewhat described in the Rainbow manual, but I took the suggestion from a friend who has a Rainbow. I do not see nearly as much surface dirt as I use to. And after 5 days, vacuum the carpet and dump the dirty water, refill and set back up. Simply put, its one of the best systems out there. Kirby has the advantage of being plug in and go, but they have such high maintenance costs. If you don't mind doing a little work, dumping the water and cleaning the seperator. It is more than worth the cost and time. Oh, and if you buy one on ebay.. Your local dealer might be a little upset, but take the machine in there and spend some money on getting it cleaned up and serviced. Start a good relationship with them, that is what I did and they have never done me wrong.

I've used my Rainbow for 20 years. My asthma is gone. When I had my carpet lifted to screw down the floor boards to stop the squeaking of the wood on the nails, the carpet layer was astonished that there was no sign of dust under the carpet he'd laid 8 years earlier. People comment on the fresh, clean smell of my home and I have five children and a dog. I attribute our good respiratory health and the freshness of our home to our Rainbow. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants real quality of life. No other vacuum cleaner works as effectively as a vacuum cleaner and none filter the air like a Rainbow.

me and my wife just bought a rainbow and i must say i am very impressed. we even become salesmen for the company. since we've had it(2 weeks)i can tell a huge difference in the air quality of my home. on one of the first demos my wife done, she went up against a kirby. the people who owned it were firm believers in it. needless to say, the rainbow blew the kirby away.so take that texasyankee. one more thing demo vacs for the rainbow arent suped up, if you want to buy it you get the one we did the demo with.

I had someone show me this machine, I didn't think it was all that spectacular. Kirby is better.

MY Rainbow is more than 20 years old and STILL going strong. WHO said it was a 'fad'?? LOL Musta been some lazy person that does NOT like a clean house, and eventually tosses ALL cleaning supplies in the closet! Huh? Oh .... I missed that .... HAH! They DID toss it in the closet! Hahahahahahhaaaaaa The Rainbow is a GREAT machine, and I CHALLENGE anyone to actually BREATHE the air from ANY other vacuum!

I am a rainbow dealer and I can tell you from experience that the rainbow cleaning system is one of the best on the marker and what people keep forgetting is that it is a system with loads more functions than a vacum cleaner as it comes to all this rainbow is an air purifier and a cool way to live longer. I have one from the day the company started here in ireland and i have been using all of the features on it and even discovering new ones and off course i tell every customer about them

My wife has dust allergies. This is the only vacuum we have owned that did anything to help them.

I use to sell rainbow cleaning systems. We always sold the machine that we showed NEVER a hyped model. this is not ethical practice. if anything I can say about Rainbow/REXAIR is that ethics is suppose to be in every dealers moto. It is shamefull that someone used to sell them this way.dumpin the water is a pain but the benifits outway the struggles, Unfortuantly most of us me included have a tendency to be lazy and this is the biggest problem with the rainbow. i am now in retail management it is ashame that some dealers go out of buisness when the buisness dies in a town but that is the nature of door to door sales and not being in mass market.

I had a Rainbow for 11 years and then I broke it. I used other brands and hated them all. I got another Rainbow and love it. It does a better job then anything else I have seen. I use to be a salemans for Rainbow so let me dispell a couple things said here. The demo model is not suped up. A salesman uses a bran new machine until it is sold. When you buy the Demo you are buying an off the shelf new one. The salesman goes back to the shop and picks up a new one and starts demoing that one until it is sold. They sell pretty quickly. I agree that emptying the water is disgusting but no more than changing a bag or dumping out a canister. Yuck, dust flies everywhere. At least when I empty my Rainbow there is a cloud of dust. I will never make the mistake of using anything else in my house. When the vacum at work I have to walk away. To noisy and stinky with those other machines. Rainbows cost alot of money (more than I like to spend) but I highly recommend them.

my friends are all saying how clean and soft my carpets are after using my new vacume cleaner.my sons asthma and sinus,s are heaps better. thankyou very much

THE ONLY REASON NOT TO OWN THIS SYSTEM COMPARED TO THE BAG AND CUP TYPE OF SWEEPER IS BECAUSE YOU WOULD RATHER KEEP THE GERMS, DIRT AND TOXIC AIR CLOSED UP IN YOUR HOUSE INSTEAD OF CAPTURING IT IN WATER AND GETTING RID OF IT. NOT ONLY IS IT THE BEST SYSTEM TO CLEAN ALL FLOORS AND ANY HOUSEHOLD SURFACES IT IS ALSO USED AS A AIR PURIFIER. SEVERAL APPLIANCES IN ONE. I ALSO KNOW SEVERAL RAINBOW OWNERS THAT HAVE 40 YEAR OLD SYSTEMS. I DON'T THINK YOU WILL FIND THAT AT A RETAIL STORE.

got my rainbow 2 weeks ago- and really like it. My house looks cleaner and feels cleaner- wouldn't have anything else. The model they demostrated with is the one I bought

the rainbow works circles around any dry vacume sweeper. the rainbow will pick up anything, even the stuff underthe carpet, nothing, not even a kirby can come close to doing the job of a rainbow. if you like a truely clean house you need a rainbow!

Rainbows are the best product on the market for cleaning, the only vac that can pull the sand out from under your carpet! I am a Dealer for Rainbow, and since I have been demenstrating them I have learned so much about the (other)vacs on the market...I have not found one yet that did not blow dust and pollutions back out into the air that the owners breath! The next time that you want to have nice fresh air to breath buy a RAINBOW or...go out side!!

a wonderful machine after you vacuum all the dirt is gone

I got my Rainbow 6 years ago when it was recommened by my daughters doctor. She had severe allergies! After 6 months of use in my home my daughter was able to stop useing her nose inhaler and her allergy meds when from 2-3 times a day every day to only the spring and fall. As a parent I was so happy to see my beatiful little girl have a better quality of life. Not to mention the rainbow saved me so much time and money. No more doctor visits twice a month and medications monthly. It also picks up water, since it runs on water. No more bags or filters. I am so happy!

Rainbows are EXCELLENT vacuum cleaners. They are not as good as Kirby, but very close. I highly recommend them.

I LOVE my rainbow. This is the best cleaning system out there. I have owned mine for a year now and I haven't had to take any allergy medicine since 2 weeks after my rainbow purchase. My house has never been cleaner or my family healthier (with their allergies and asthma). EVERYONE NEEDS A RAINBOW!

I've had a Rainbow for three years and would never own anything else. I've had all the companies I could find to do an in home presentation and they either wouldn't(as soon as I told them I owned the rainbow) show up or couldn't compare when they did. Not even close. All the others are fine if you don't mind dirt and wasting money.
