Coricidin / Cough Medicine

Hey everyone. This is my story with triple c's....
I started doing them when I started 10th grade, at first I loved it, it was fun. I never thought anything bad would ever happen cause a lot of my friends had been doing it for a while and they said nothing had ever happened to them. So i kept doing it, firts it was only a few times a month, then it turned into a few times a week, so I had to keep taking more and more to trip as good as i did the first time.So about 2 months after I started I was with my friend at her house, her parents were out so we decided to trip some ccc's. Well I took about 25, and at first it was all good, the same as every other time, then almost 2 hours after taking them I started to feel really weird, when I stood up I couldn't feel my legs so I collapsed on the ground. Then, I started shaking violently and couldn't stop, then I started puking...i couldn't control myself at all, I couldn't stop shaking...my friend was tripping so she had no idea what to do, i thought for sure i was gonna die, everything was spinning and i was going in and out of consiousness. my friend was talking to me but i couldn't understand her at all, that's all i remember before i blacked out. I woke up in the hospital 8 days later...apparently my friend had gotten herself together enough to call 911.Seeing me that way scared my friend shitless, and she never touched the shit again. Now, you'd think being in a coma for 8 days might scare me out of doing it ever again, and it did for a while...i swore i'd never even think about it again, but then one night i was with a few of my friends and they wanted to do it so i said i'd only do a little, maybe 6 or 7...well 6 or 7 turned into 15. And like the first time everything was going good, but then something happend, and it wasn't like the first time...this time it wasn't me, it was my best friend Nicole. First she started puking, then she started screaming that she couldn't breathe, no one knew what to do, we were all fucked up and no one could drive...so we called an ambulance. Nicole died before they reached the hospital, they said it was respritory depression...the pills made her stop breathing, and her heart stopped. They tried to revive her, but they couldn't. She was my best friend for 13 years, since we were four years old. Nicole wanted to be a professional dancer, she was beautiful when she danced...it was her passion, now she'll never get that chance.
These pills...they aren't something you want to risk losing your life over. It doesn't matter how fun it sounds, it's dangerous. You may think what happend to me or what happend to my best friend can't happen to you, but i promise it can. I'm lucky to be alive, Nicole, unfortunately, wasn't as lucky. Don't let what happend to her happen to you, or any of your friends...
It begins as just a fun trip, but it doesn't always end that way.
