If I were a girl i'd stay FAR AWAY from The Boss! Imagine him on a date complaining how hard life is in New Jersey from his muli-million dollar home in California like he always does in his songs and in interviews.  No more Darlington County for you Bruce!!!

Why is he in the Dream Date category. This is definately not that kind of celebrity to see in a list like this. Cause he is not my dream date. Actually even not my type. Way too old.

Great Rock artist, but I like girls!

A true american hero. The last one? In a time when U.S. is weak and isolated by the misgoverning of Bush, Bruce walks tall, takes an honest stand against the president and does his part in trying to change the direction of his country to the better.

Well, last I heard he's happily married, so I don't think he's in the dating market. But even if he were available, I wouldn't want to go out with him because I don't find him attractive and he's a little too preachy for my taste.

Let me have my say. Bruce Springsteen nothing but a two-bit anti-American moron who has capitalized on using the American system ( and Americans and fans abroad crazy enough to buy his material!) The man cannot even sing, and his followers cling to his every word like they did to Bob Dylan some time ago. He is no spokesman for the average Joe, as Bruce lives in his ivory tower.This guy only takes advantage of a tme wen the general public is tone-deaf, and regard him as some sort of a messiah. Give me a break! Bruce, take your anti-American crap abroad or join Jane Fonda Susan Sarandon, Barbara Streisand and Martin Sheen in joing forces to create a new comedy act! Keep it up. Most of us are laughing our butts of out here!

He does not do anything for me.

Bruce is awesome! I wasn't around when he first became big, but I love his new album, "The Rising" so much. I listen to it in the car on the way to my classes or at night to unwind. Bruce, although he's a lot older than me and had kids around my age, would be a great dream date because I'm sure he has tons of stories to tell!!!

This guy made money writing anti-American songs for years, now after 9/11, he tries to make money selling patriotic songs. He is just an opportunist blowing in the wind. Notice all the recent media hype surrounding his new release? The news media pretends his new CD is a news story, but the truth is, the news media and entertainment mongols are in the same bed.

Ya know what? Bruce is the only person on this list who actually seems to have a heart inside him! For that reason alone, I would rank him as a dream date. He'd probably treat me like a real lady, and judging from his songs, he's a real romantic. I like that. Bruce has a certian something about him, and while his Born in the USA, heartthrob of the year looks have faded a bit, he's still the man who touched so many hearts and drove so many girls wild, longing to dance with him in the dark. Well, I can't say I've never felt that way, because, B-lieve me, he wouldn't be gettin' a 5 for nothing! Ever since I heard him sing "All that Heaven Will Allow" and "Beacause the Night" I've LOVED him, not just romantically, but as a person who stands for so much that I believe, think and live. I think that as a person, Bruce is a tremendous guy, and I hope his wife knows how lucky she is. You know what, though? I really think she does. I mean, how could you not! Oh, oh, oh, I'm on Fire!

Being a heterosexual guy, I feel kind of weird giving any guy a rating above a "1" in terms of a dream date, but Bruce's tremendous musical talent warrants it (he doesn't get a five for obvious reasons). It would be great to sit down with him over a good steak and a few beers and talk music, politics, sports, etc. After dinner, we'd meet up with the E-Street Band for some more drinks and an impromptu jam session. Man, that would be great.

For sure Bruce is my dream date! He is the only celebrity that I could actually look at every day and never get bored! Not only does he have major Hollywood heart-throb looks, but he has a magnetic stage prescence, poetic talent times infinity, and a voice so intimate that I always come away from his CDs with the feeling that I know him, especially since he writes his own stuff. Oh, if only he were writing songs like Thunder Road and All That Heaven Will Allow for me, and was my boyfriend (or better yet, husband!) I would be so happy! I know that it's kind of unfair for us to say these kinds of things about him, because I really do wish him the best with Patti (not you "PattiS" although I know you wish!) and his three young children. Just I sometimes wish that I could have been the one to kiss him, to hold him, and be his whole world. Sigh! Love is a funny thing!

Ooh yeah, baby! This is my man! If I could have him for just one night I would be the happiest girl on this earth! I think about him ALL the time! (Hey, give me a break! He was my teen idol!) He has managed to retain his good looks and talent for all these years, and he REALLY ought to make a new album soon! Oh, I can picture our dream date, now! Candlelight dinner for two, walk on the beach and the boardwalk, lots of kissing and hand holding! And of course the grand finale, Cover Me, baby, and some dancing in the dark, too! I get chills just thinking about it!

This guy is actually really cute! So what, I'm 15, he's the inverse, 51, but who really cares? I think he's hot (or at least he really was in the 80s!) So there!
